A list of puns related to "Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas"
Access to natural gas and oil development will be a key driver of the post-pandemic recovery in Alaska. The industry supported over 47,000 Alaska jobs, provided over $4.5 billion in wages and contributed more than $19.4 billion to the stateβs economy in 2019, according to a study conducted by PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) that compiles the latest available government data. Natural Gas and Oil Essential Contributors to Recovery in Alaska Industry activity boosts manufacturing, logistics, banking and construction among dozens of other economic sectors. $POND announced today sale of its petroleum and natural gas assets in the Pembina Area, Alberta.
Highlights from the news release:
- Agreement is with Grizzly Resources
- Grizzly will assume all abandonment and reclamation liabilities related to the assets, giving Pond more flexibility, the ability to clean up their balance sheet, and allows them to continue their aggressive growth path
- Grizzly will pay up to $2.25M in future conditional consideration to Pond from the Pembina asset
Currently sitting at $0.62, this game-changing carbon capture company has a tight share structure and a mc of only $26.79M. LOTS of growth potential in the carbon capture industry, I'm looking forward to hearing about Pond's initiatives underway in the upcoming months!

To clarify, i'd like to know the plausibility of my (fantasy) setting to have little to no natural petroleum/oil/coal/gas/pitch deposits with a society built around a massive logging/forestation agriculture and potash/potassium industry to support a gigantic charcoal, wood gasification, rubber made from wood sap and hydrogen/flammable gases industry (various fantastical production means) as main sources of their (industrial) fuel needs instead.
This because while the processes to create petroleum, pitch, coal and natural gases still happen, this world has not gone through "global" mass extinction events like ours has so while oil/coal/gas does exist, i imagine especially around large ancient volcano sites, these deposits would be minimal in scope and scale and not all that usefull or readily accessible as our irl counterparts with rare/small exceptions (which also makes their development and exploitation in this setting less then meaningful/impactful/advanced).
In this setting the vast majority of Plastics are pretty much non existent (guess 1900-20 ish levels of tech in that area?), electricity has been discovered proper (1950s level of technology), lubricant greases and Oils come from plants (wood), as does rubber, resins and bakelite which are also used plenty alongside quality metal. Needless to say the "industrial Revolution" has happened though was much slower and gradual.
Seeing this setting of mine is a unique dyson sphere/hollow earth styled world with no "outside" instead of the regular smaller planet with space around it I'll magic things to work how i will/need it either way as i am writing. That said i am curious to thoughts on the plausibility here and if anyone has suggestions or their own thoughts and ideas on this topic.
(CSE: OIL) (OTCQB: OILCF)
Permex Petroleum Corporation announced today that it has closed on multiple non-operated royalty interest ("RI") acquisitions in 29 oil and gas wells located in the Permian Basin of west Texas, all of which have established long-term production.
In addition to its own working interest ownership and operations across 4,000 acres in the Basin, Permex now holds royalty interests ownership in a total of 73 wells and 5 permitted wells across 3,800 acres within the Permian Basin of West Texas and southeast New Mexico.
The recently acquired oil and gas royalty interest properties are located in Howard, Martin, Midland and Reeves counties. The operators on file for these properties include EOG Resources and Chevron with primary production coming from the Wolfcamp Shale.
"There are numerous catalysts in the oil sector which we believe will push oil prices much higher over the next few quarters," said Mehran Ehsan, President & CEO. "Our strategic business shift to have continuously acquired royalty interest ownership in oil and natural gas properties during the downturn has positioned us for exceptional returns on these investments. We continue to monitor the market for additional non-operating working interest and royalty interest acquisitions and partnerships."
