A list of puns related to "Midpoint (company)"
I am halfway through my 6 month internship at a FANGMULAS company (or whatever you call that after Facebook was rebranded) and I've received my midpoint performance review, which IMO is quite bad. Don't know if it was a bit harsh or I'm trash, but I wasn't expecting to be told some of the things that I was told. Don't get me wrong, I wasn't expecting to get praised either, but some things were unexpected (especially if you consider this is an internship).
No score/scale was used to evaluate the technical competencies since the manager said it doesn't make much sense for the interns/new grads to use this method. Instead, I think they did it because I was under performing in all/most of the competencies so they did not show a list of full red marks. Call me paranoid or overthinker but I think it makes a lot of sense.
The manager started by saying that the team appreciates that I am proactive when approaching other engineers teams to solve the problems in my day to day tasks and I take ownership of my project, and that's pretty much it. They also mentioned at some point towards the end that I have improved since the start and I am on a positive trajectory (although this doesn't mean much given the feedback you will see below), but that's it on the positive side! Then the shit storm started...
I was told I ask too many questions and I take away too much time from my mentor (of course everything was wrapped in a more kind and corporate-specific language) and I should try to find a better balance. I've read many times already on this sub how you should not bother your mentor for questions that could be easily found on Google, so I kept that in mind. I consider I've always thought twice before asking them something, but apparently it was still too much.
Another negative thing is that I'm arguing too much with more experienced engineers (i.e. my mentor). I think I know when to step back and I've done this plenty of times but the thing is I have received a lot of contradictory feedback that was going either against the suggestion of another engineer (I had more than a mentor since the start), against the documentation/code style recommendations or against the suggestions that the very same engineer gave previously. Each time I felt the need to kindly pointed out this aspect and in the long run it wasn't appreciated. Additionally, sometimes I'm genuinely curious and I would like to learn

Hi, I would like to dimension the center of the rectangle I'd like to later extrude cut, to a the midpoint of the face I am drawing on. As you can see in the image below, the rectangle I have drawn is off-centered and does not replicate the replicate that I am trying to recreate. Can anyone help me on this?
Thank you

Trevor Lawrence to me has played like a typical rookie, but with the hype for him he has been a bit disappointing. Tough situation playing in a poor offense that lost its starting RB and best WR for the season tho.
Zach Wilson has obviously been a huge disappointment.
Mac Jones has looked great so far.
Justin Fields has shown some flashes. Bears fans should be optimistic.
At the half way point, what are we thinking about these guys? For dynasty, how would you rank them 1-4 at this point?
The projects have calmed down for now and Iβm currently on a less demanding rotation. However Iβve been waking up late/more tired, less motivated, and not wanting to socialize like I usually do. Lately at the end of the day I feel like I need a good cry but donβt get to that point. Iβm at a great program and doing well but canβt shake this feeling. Anyone else feel like this? Is this just midpoint of residency? Lol
Have you written (or read) an important character not introduced until the midpoint? In my case, it's an ensemble of three MCs. Two are pretty flushed out early on. The third (and most mysterious to the other two) is introduced early but we don't get to know her until the midpoint. Any thoughts on this?
I've heard that a good way to balance out two conflicting placements in a chart is by finding the midpoint and working to incorporate more of that aspect into your life.
How do I interpret this well?
What does it mean if the midpoint conjuncts planets in your chart (e.g. Moon squares Mars, and the Moon/Mars midpoint conjuncts Venus)?
What good resources are out there for interpreting midpoints?
A easy to read book for beginners where I wonβt have to get distracted and learn about a whole other part of astrology would be great if possible.
Also personal experiences, opinions on how relevant you have found them to be.
Obviously a midpoint between a trine is very powerful as itβs a sextile to two bodies but how about squares? What about unaspected planets? Are there always two midpoints? One being the shorter separation (45Β° on a square) and one the long way round so to speak? (135Β°)
Thanks!
Hi!
I know for some cpt codes based on time, when you pass the "midpoint", you can then bill that code (for instance, 99401 15 min, if you document 8 mins, it counts). But some codes have to meet the minimum threshold. Wanted to know how to tell which is which.
Mainly wondering about the following:
G0511 / 99490 -- 20 minutes; is it 10 (midpoint) or 20?
97542 - 15 minutes; 8 or 15?
G0396 / 99408 -- 15 or 8?
Also, for time based EM coding, I heard that the >50% rule has gone away now? So whats an example of a phrase to document when documenting time for a 99214, for instance?
thanks!
For context, I'm using Tailwind CSS which has a lightness scale for its colors of 100-900, with 100 being the lightest and 900 being the darkest.
I also designed my app for dark mode first.
Let's take the sidebar and main content area as an example for my question. My sidebar is 900 and the main is 800, so the sidebar is just a little bit darker.
In light mode, would the sidebar be lighter than the main? E.g. sidebar is 100, the lowest instead of the highest on the 100-900 scale, and the main is 200, the second-lowest instead of the second highest. Basically, you look at 450 on that scale, the middle, as zero and 100 is negative and 900 is positive, so dark mode is basically negating the lightness value for an element. Preserving absolute value, the distance from 450.
Or instead of preserving absolute value, do I preserve the lightness of an element relative to a sibling? The sidebar is 100 points darker than the main, so in light mode the sidebar should be as light as it can possibly be while allowing for the main to be 100 points lighter.
Am I flipping the 100-900 scale around the 450 midpoint or am I sliding the scale with 800 and 900 moving down to 100 and 200 respectively?
These are my personal grades and opinions. They are based on the tape I have watched and the player performance so far. The grades are based on round by round value, not based on who was drafted around/after them. i.e. I would not give every pick in the 2017 draft a bad grade because we passed on Kittle for 6 rounds.
1.09. PS2 (CB, Alabama) - Took balls for Paton to pass on a QB. We will see how that decision looks going forward, but Surtain looks like a 5 year vet in his ninth NFL start. Terry had 3 catches last week and CD didnβt find one this week until PS2 left with injury. Potential franchise player. **grade: A **
2.35. Javonte Williams (RB, UNC) - The Piledriver. Pre-draft comps to Nick Chubb seem accurate so far as the two are tied for the lead in broken tackles despite Javonte having 30 fewer carries. Powerful runner who force feeds defenders their teeth, he can catch and pass blocks well, but struggles with vision and is stuffed at the second highest rate in the league. **grade: A- **
3.98. Quinn Meinerz (IOL, Wisconsin-Whitewater) - Lovingly known as The Belly. At worst, a solid depth piece. At best, our future RG. With Glasgow out, he looks to be the starter ROS. Was a definite positional need predraft. grade: B with potential to move up or down ROS
3.105. Baron Browning (LB, Ohio State) - Hyper-athletic OLB going through a position change with Fangio. No clue how good he will be at ILB, but he also looks to start ROS due to injury. Was a definite positional need predraft. grade: B with potential to move up or down ROS
5.152. Caden Sterns (S, Texas) - Intelligent player who is forcing his way onto the field. Looks like a future starter if not future star. Will likely take Kareem Jacksonβs spot next year. grade: A+
5.164. Jamar Johnson (S, Indiana) - College ballhawk who has shown struggles with tackling. During the draft, my Chargers fan friend and I both wanted him. Jury is still out, but he has been outshone by the other safety we took 12 picks sooner. grade: C+
7.219. Seth Williams (WR, Auburn) - I thought it was a steal based on his college tape, but he did not make the 53 man roster. Oh well, itβs a 7th rounder. grade: C-
7.237. Kart Vincent Jr. (CB, LSU) - 7th rounder who put no extra tape out, then got traded for an early sixth. Paton is a magician. grade: A+
7.239. Jonathan Cooper (OLB, Ohio State) - Projected mid rounder who fell in the draft due to heart health concerns. Pra

Recently I decided I'll have a hobby of practicing and learning some trig. I was drawing out a right angle triangle and I noticed that if you draw a parallel line from the midpoint of every segment you get 4 identical triangles. What's up with that?
So I heard you need to sum both of them and then divide by 2 which works pretty well for this:
https://snipboard.io/8TJzbg.jpg
But what about this?
https://snipboard.io/W0DGgf.jpg
Say I need to find the midpoint between Ο/2 and Ο.
Adding them and then dividing by 2 (https://snipboard.io/1wX25j.jpg) gives me 3Ο/2 which is already somewhere else on the graph: https://snipboard.io/wDqtXO.jpg
So what to do in this situation?
I know i probably wont need to zoom in that much but just curious.
Over the last ten days, power has shifted in the Dregs campaign. A new coalition of DEATH Alliance and Annihilation Kingdom (ANKI) has formed to take on Dissentient(DISS).
It began on November 14th, a day that will be in the minds of every Dissentient alliance member for several Dregs to come... A simultaneous attack on DISS keeps in Xelariel and Slaas zones by DEATH and ANKI. DISS defense forces were spread thin against veteran DEATH groups at McFisticuffs Rukubringer while a high spirited horde of ANKI descended on the Keep of Joe the Punkhunter. After taking Punkhunter in Xelariel, ANKI came to 3rd party the finishing attack on McFisticuffs.
While the last Dregs saw DEATH's predecessor alliance(DAP) relegated to a third place finish in order to secure Dissentient's predecessor alliance(ACO) first place, this new coalition with ANKI was already putting DEATH into a position to come in second place, giving new keep counts of 7 ANKI , 4 DISS, and 5 DEATH. A major victory for the smaller alliance that could snowball them to an easy victory over their former partner.
Scorned and determined, DISS hit back hard. Fielding enough attack forces to take BOTH keeps back on November 18. Putting themselves on track for first place out of shear grit. ANKI 6, DISS 7 , DEATH 4*.
Strength was building in the DEATH and ANKI coalition however. Communication and coordination allowed several days of success against DISS. Not merely attacking simultaneously, but in concert, on the same field. Deconflicting AOE's and auras to fight the otherwise superior DISS groups.
On 11/21 ANKI took Rukusbringer in Slaas while DEATH narrowly failed to secure Punkhunter in Xelariel. Video link: https://youtu.be/j7s5kWUnJ8E
On 11/22 Death took Unyll Divinishield in Slaas with their coalition partner ANKI providing close support. Video link: https://youtu.be/oak6MmSWrj0
On 11/23 ANKI took the big keep in Loke , Veraasal Crimson. A point of pride since ANKI was the initial builder of this keep. Video Link:https://youtu.be/bkhc0ieKHGM
On 11/23 ANKI took the Ceraphim big keep, "Thain" with the best inside-the-walls movement of the entire campaign by DEATH.
On 11/23-24 Not ready to log off, DISS rallied a huge victory in defense of Relyt Ztemark in Slaas against an attempted DEATH attack with ANKI bringing close support to take down one ward.
At this point in the campaign the keeps
