This is important.
If all the prominent Asian American women are discredited in such a way, such as being linked as "enablers" to powerful, allegedly sexually deviant, white men (e.g. Amy Chua, Julie Chen, Michelle Rhee, Elaine Chao, Grace Park, Yoko), then what kind of message does this send to other women of color?
Can they trust Asian women any more?
Is even Tyra Banks, a defender of women of color, behind the scenes, shaking her head at the pattern that is noticeable to pretty much everyone?
Is there any woman we can trust to carry the torch (besides the congresswomen)? Are Constance Wu or Ali Wong really the only ones we have?
Other WOC have begun to give us the side eye. We need to stop this. It will be a stain that will affect Asian women, hapa women, and our children for generations to come.
We cannot let this pattern turn into some sort of "original sin" for being born a hapa.

Like Julie Chen, Elaine Chao stands by both of her men, far right demogogues Mitch McConnell and President Donald Trump.
The fact that these women are some of the most prominent Asian women, and hapa mamas out there today, makes a lot of other women of color distrust Asian women. I've only mentioned a few. There are many many more, out there.
They see us as shifty and untrustworthy.
Asian women. Stop doing this please.
