A list of puns related to "Meeting in the Ladies Room"
Hillin was sent a hand delivered message by a droid who gave him a note asking him to meet Anubis at a backroom of the club Scar. When he enter the room is empty with a booth, and a one way window showing a overview of the night club.
Background: there's many people in my lab under different PIs and professors. I do not know this guy, as I never interacted with him (nor I have to). I know he was invited by one of the associates and has to stay for several months. We usually invite him over for lunch and coffee breaks but always denies and seems to have his stuff to work on, so we just let him be.
Today at one point we hear the door shutting and muffled crying and screaming coming from the small meeting room. I think he was on the telephone with someone. A guy in the same office went in and took him for a walk outside to calm down, and apparently he told him that 'something was wrong with his head' and that he wanted to quit everything and something along those lines.
I feel very sorry for him, obviously, and I can see where it comes from. I had multiple breakdowns (although they were in private in my dorm room) during my visiting period, so I know what a shitty toll this job can take on you. However, something feels off with this guy: he seemed genuinely distressed and I don't really know what's on his mind, so I'm kinda concerned. I am very tempted to contact his supervisor (from my lab, not from his uni) and telling him to check in on him, just to make sure he's ok. I don't want to put this student in an awkward position tho.
Man fuck academia and fuck this job that makes you feel stupid and useless. What a scam.

I just want to take a moment to express my appreciation to the society on behalf of PIMOs everywhere for embracing the digital publication format. Itβs made getting through the meetings so much easier since we can now be on our phones from start to finish with everyone just assuming weβre following along and looking up scriptures.
Iβve never posted on here. So I hope I donβt butcher this.
So I work as the Senior Concierge and Front Desk Supervisor for an Independent Corporate Hotel in the downtown of a larger Canadian city. Over the past year and a half we have been renovating the whole building of about 250 rooms. With Renovations going on, and with the constant Hot-Cold weather weβve been having, the pipes in our building have been having troubles.
A few weeks ago, we had a pipe burst, and we had to put 18 rooms off market due to electricity problems from the flood. We have contractors in who have been working on the rooms, with power cables going from room to room to allow fans to dry out the drywall and flooring.
I come in for my shift that morning, and every thing goes well. Around 2:30 I get a call from my executive housekeeper saying a contractor was smoking in one of the off market rooms. We have a bylaw against smoking in any downtown building, so this is a big problem.
I make my way to the floor, ready to yell at the contractor. I notice a plate from the room outside the door with a half used cigar on it. I get to the door, and knock on the door.
No answer.
I knock again and attempt to enter the room, but as I attempt to open the door, the deadbolt is locked so I knock again and ask for them to open the door.
The voice of a woman shouts βget the F@$K away from me! Iβm trying to take a shower!β Now this is an off market room. Nobody should be in there. And nobody but contractors and staff have keys.
I knock again, exclaiming that she is not welcome and must open the door immediately. She continues to shout curse words at me, and shout at me asking if I was there to see her naked in the shower.
I call my Bellman to come and assist with the person, as well as my Maintenance to assist with opening the deadbolt.
Upon knocking again(once my bellman and maintenance arrive) to keep her attention, she screams and I hear something in the room go flying across the floor(probably our amenities) and I shout that she is not welcome again, and that Iβm calling the police.
Once I mention the police, she whips what sounded like a glass at the door breaking it, and shouts that she is calling them as we speak and threatens to stab me.
The police get called, and arrive to us ready to open the door. The police storm in, and find her huddled in the back corner of the room. She shouts like a demon for probably half an hour, withstanding 3 rounds of cops coming in to restrain

I was working the overnight security job, and it was just me and the night auditor. About 1200a or so, a girl comes into the lobby, but unbeknownst to her a misfit snuck in behind her. The looby door is locked after 11p, you have to swipe your key to get in, or get let in by the front deck clerk. Anyhow, we're focused on Ms. Sneaky here.
She comes up to the front desk and claims she has a reservation. I cant remember the name, but the clerk looks it up and of course nothing comes up. She was nice enough at this point, but acting very very strange. She said "OK thanks, I'll wait for my dad outside." Ok. She walks outside.
I continue doing my patrols, all is quiet. A couple of hours later, I notice that Ms. Sneaky is still sitting out at the firepit area. I engage, and ask her what her business is. She claims that she called her dad and is waiting for him, but she is in town for a funeral. Um ok, all details I don't care about. So the front desk clerk is having a smoke outside watching me figure out what is up with this weirdo. Ms. Sneaky walks up to the clerk who is smoking and non-chalantly asks, "wheres my phone and wallet?" As if the clerk has any effing idea. Clerk gives her a weird like WTF look and says, "I have no idea." I don't know if it was the questioning or what, but she decides it's time to leave. I watch her leave the property and just shake my head.
Over the next hour I watch her wander from parking lot to parking lot. She even headed over to a neighboring hotel's lot. I called their security guard (who seems way less engaged than I) and tell her that she's got a bogey wandering her lot. She says OK and we finish the call. I don't know if she was run off from the neighboring hotel or what, but she comes heading back my way. Great.
It's about 3a, and it dawns on me that this super suspicious figure I saw in the adjacent apartment buildings parking lot at around 11pm has got to be this weirdo. She's not on property again but shes across the drive, and she's talking to herself now. I've had enough, I have no idea if shes mental/emotional, on some sort of drugs, in some sort of danger, or what...so I call the five-oh to come figure this crap out. I'm getting off shift at 5a, and I dont want to stay over for paperwork reasons.
I call 911 to do a welfare check on this lady. They come relatively quickly, and I see them as I am doing another exteri
