My MPV levels average about 12.5 fL. The reference range is 8.0-11.0 fL
Ive been suffering with some chronic illness over the last 3 years and am undiagnosed as of now but pursuing further testing as of recently. Symptoms consist of: abdominal pains, brain fog, fatigue, weakness, migrating joint pains, feeling generally unwell often, some headaches and earaches, flank pains.
Should this consistent abnormality prompt certain tests? Is there anything it may be indicative of?

All other numbers are in range, including platelet counts. MVP is 10.8; the βnormalβ range given was between 7.0-10.1. 26F with previous tests (in yrs past) indicating even higher MVP numbers. Is there something I can do to decrease this number?
I have Ehlers danlos syndrome most likely , and was wondering if this could mean an increased risk of stroke or clots.
This is oddly specific I know but I do have an MTHFR gene mutation. I just got a result back that showed a high MVP. My T3 is now high normal and my T4 is still low. The thyroid is tied in with the MTHFR issue. I'm worried because I highly suspect a blood clot was to blame for the stillbirth I experienced and the preterm labor that resulted from a dying placenta. For the stillborn my doctor spotted an anamoly on the sono and thought it might be a clot so he put me on blood thinners. Genetic testing revealed a mutation, no d dimer test ordered. The specialist said it was a gray area and put me on extra folate for whatever reason.
Fast forward to now and it has been found that blood thinners won't do squat. They do not cross the placenta so if a blood clot is in there, there is nothing that can be done but hope it doesn't block the cord. I'm pregnant again and piecing this together myself. It's a big gray area for whatever reason and I'm really struggling for answers for what I can do other than just get a bunch of sonograms and maybe take baby aspirin.
I'm on my thyroid meds and progesterone shots. The progesterone shots were ordered due to past spontaneous death and spontaneous death of the placenta. Nothing at all was detected with the necrotizing placenta issue and I'm worried scans won't pick up anything this time either. I'm going to start having blood flow checked once a week. Here's to hoping my son will be born healthy.

PRP injection is actually a very mild treatment. Nothing serious at all and is only used to promote healing in an area that lacks ample blood flow. I would assume that the team wants to play it safe with Mahinmi as he was experiencing pain even though he was cleared by MRI and doctors.
If you have Gortat (I have Gortat as well), I would highly suggest using this news to get him traded off. Mahinmi will most likely be back and the Wizards will instantly look to him to help take a load off of Gortat's minutes. With a projected return date of early-to-mid February, Gortat's minutes will be reduced to an expected 30 minutes per game (what he has averaged the past 2 years), and his value will drop down to borderline droppable in 10-person leagues depending on what you need.
Gortat is playing a career high in minutes this season. The man is turning 33 in February and should not be averaging 36 minutes a game in highly intense and close matches night after night. And a large portion of these games approach or get over 40 minutes because the Wizards' bench is so bad this season that even easy teams put up difficult fights.
Gortat is not an injury-prone player by any means, but anyone can become injury-prone when they're playing more minutes than they have in their entire career.
tl;dr: Sell high on Gortat while he's still having games like these.
