Join me as I revisit one of my favorite dark- comedies 20 years after it's release. 1999's Election directed by Alexander Payne.
Hey, decently long term player here, doing a Maya run through. I'm running a Bee shield and have a Lady Fist as well as a Sandhawk. Using a 20.1% Smg Aggression Damage relic as well as a Scheming Cat class mod. Farming snowman in winter DLC. Why does Lady Fist feel like it's killing him faster than a Beehawk setup, surely beehawk does more damage. I'm mostly intoxicated atm, but surely the damage shouldn't even compare to a full beehawk setup right?
Sandhawk is lvl 38, lady fist is 27. Am I just too drunk to math atm? Or is maybe my aim too bad to use beehawk as well as I do lady fist? Idk, lady fist just feels better atm.
Years ago, my aunt took me to the cinema to see a film that had released around that time. That film was Jerry Seinfeld's Magnum Opus; The Bee Movie. This film never fails to bring me to tears. Everytime a bee pun is made I have to get plastic surgery to replace my hips. Everytime Jerry Seinfeld opens his mouth to say a line in this film, I always mouth alongside him. We are spiritually connected. His mind connected to mine. My thoughts, his thoughts. This film is an human achievement that deserves to stand alongside the photographing of a black hole and man going to the Moon. Its' title so simple, yet so deep. "The Bee Movie". It's a title that tells the audience what the film is about. A movie. A cinematic production. About a lowly insect, the Bee. A particular part of the animal kingdom that many of us don't think about. Its' production of honey that fuels industries. Many people don't think about the Bee and its' unique role in The World. This film also has an important note in the title. It is "The Bee movie". It is the definitive film about Bees.
What this man has done, /u/Steven , is revolutionize how we view this subreddit. Many will see it as a "Shitpost" destined to die in "New". But I, I see it is so much more than that.
