A list of puns related to "Master Chief (Halo)"
I think making him struggle with human emotions was the right move. It added more depth to his character. Halo Infinite was a true sequel to Halo 4โs plot points.
It'd be fun to think that the halo games are sort of canon.
I am, of course, referring to the UNSC ship graveyard scene where he takes a knee and gives a pep talk to Esperanza (apparently, that's Echo-216's real name, from what I've heard). I never expected someone like the Chief to say something like "We all make mistakes. It's what makes us human." I also found it quite powerful when Esperanza asked him when he had ever failed and he replied that he failed to protect Cortana. It shows that, even though we, the audience, know there was nothing he could do-the fact that she was at the end of her seven-year life cycle and was "dying" (let's be honest, rampancy is pretty much the AI version of dying) was a major part of the game, after all-he still feels guilty over what happened. It's a nice reminder that there really is someone under the armor.
I'd also like to give a special shout-out to this exchange between Esperanza (126) and the Chief (MC). This is me paraphrasing, but it goes a little something like this:
126: You got anyone back home?
MC: No.
126: Then why do you continue to fight, again and again?
MC: It's all I've ever known.
The main reason why I like this is that I've never heard anyone stop to ask "why does the Master Chief fight?" It's just not something you question. That's just what he does. Fight. But this illustrates that, again, there's a man behind the helmet, and just like with every other man, he has a reason why he fights: it's his purpose, his calling. He probably doesn't remember anything from before ONI took him. Battle is his life, a barracks, his home, other Spartans, his family. Hell, "117" is probably the closest thing he has to a surname! When you frame it like that, you start to feel bad for him. Halo 4 tried to humanize him. But Infinite hit the mark in a single cutscene.
Can someone give me an insight on as to what mark , gen or whatever Armor is being used by the master chief and spartan 4s in halo infinite and how they fare off against each other
This question is more so a 2 parter. Essentially, I was wondering if Master Chief could go toe-to-toe against one of 40K's very own Ultramarines, and if so, how many Ultramarines would be able to take down Master Chief?
Hi,
So the title says it all. Would you recommend the collection for a 16 year old, and no, I am not soliciting opinion, but rather I want to know about any mature content in it.
I checked ESRB and while it shows mature(i.e. 17+), the description is basically blood and gore(like which games don't have it these days), but nothing explicit.
So, I just want to hear, plain and simple, that would you, after having played these 4 games yourself, recommend it to a teenager(keeping in mind that it does not harm him intellectually or rather, doesn't trouble me knowing what game have I got for this teenager)?
Thanks
As the title states, its master chief vs the legends which is not limited too
Master chief has Mjonir and cortana, the legends have trackers connected together that go down once master chief kills them, everyone will have to look for weapons, lore focused, no gameplay based feats, must have feasible proof
Round 1: All of the legends will have 24 hours to figure out a plan before they're dropped onto the island to hunt Master chief, everyone is in character but cannot kill each other
Round 2: Same as round 1 but bloodlusted
Round 3: Every single legend is armed with an r99 rifle and a wingman as a side arm vs chief with a standard issue Assault rifle, location is the roman Colosseum
Round 4: One on one with no weapons nor armor
As it stands, i only managed to get through 3 seasons of MCC but want to get back in and grind some of the stuff i missed. Unfortunately because of the weekly challenges, i have to wait once a week to grind out only a few challenge points. We also stop getting challenge points after hitting rank 100 so the grind is kinda crazy if you have a couple of seasons to go.
On top of that, i missed out on the 20th anniversary xbox cosmetics - is there any notion whether they may return in the future? Or are they gone forever?
EDIT: I would also like to point out that since there will be no more season on MCC as 343 switches all gears to Halo: Infinite support, the seasonal challenges aren't going to re-populate with new items or those nice 3-4 point challenges. This means, on a weekly basis, you will be stuck with 1 point per challenge and only a few of those per week. The grind is incredible if you missed out on a lot of the MCC seasons.
Canโt the banished launch a volley of missiles to kill him or a low yield nuke?
Fight is set in the map from FNAF 3. Master Chief has an assault rifle and magnum pistol. Afton is in Springtrap suit. Who would win?
Edit: What if Afton had a group of the original animatronics to assist? Would he fare better?
Some parts brave, some parts broken. So many moments of heroism, intertwined with dialogue that showed how broken he is after the events of the past games. He latches onto hope and is always willing to fight, but it doesn't stop him telling Esparza and The Weapon his reasons for fighting one.
One moment that stuck out to me was when Doisac was destroyed, and Chief sounded like he was choking up when he told the Weapon "I should have stopped it", like how be blamed himself for its destruction when we all know, as the backseat viewer, that it was Cortana's desicion. He sounded tormented inside, and was done so subtly.
His honesty when he said to The Weapon about trust at the end "I dont...but i want to" was perfect.
He talks about fighting no matter what, and always shows respect to fallen warriors, even if its the Banished. How he addressed his 'respect' to Escharum after he died, show's how honorable he can be to the foes he fights, when he understands why they're fighting and what for.
Probably my most favourite demonstration of Chief as a person. A beaten down, broken warrior who clings to hope as he deals with the grief and tragedy that we've seen over the years. Steve Downs was the fucking man, and is the perfect Chief.
I tend to like video games with good game play and good stories rather than multiplayer games such as Fortnite for example not that it is a bad game or anything but there is no story to keep me interested. Which Halo game should I start with to get the full experience with the story?
I was looking up if the doom slayer would beat master chief in a fight and majority of the posts I read say that chiefs superior tactics would beat the doom slayer being able to kill both God and Satan, but nooo green man who knows where and when to shoot can beat green kratos.
