A list of puns related to "Mary Whitehouse"
Looking into the history of programs like Doctor Who and Monty Python, I find it baffling that the BBC (among others) seemed always to have to look over their shoulders in case these moral-panic-creating nutters were judging them.
Won't anyone think of the children??!

After reading a story about CBBC broadcasting its first everΒ stunning, braveΒ gay kiss I discovered that CBBC is aimed at 6-17 year olds.
AIBU to think that:
no NT 17 (16, 15, 14, 13) year olds watch CBBC?
having that demographic is a bit sinister?
Unlike a lot of things I thought were hilarious as a teenager I'm pretty sure The Mary Whitehouse Experience would hold up, but I'm unable to confirm. It seems weird that not only is it not on DVD but it never even gets mentioned any more when people talk about great British comedy. Is it possible that it only seemed like everyone loved it at the time because everyone I knew was 13? Is it still funny to point at someone who's just had a haircut and say "haircu-ut" (not sure how to punctuate that but the answer is yes). And whatever happened to Rob Newman?
Well, hello.
If ever there was a time when piracy was right it's in this case. Never released on video or DVD and yet loved by so many. I've looked all over the public trackers and can't find any torrents with any seeders. Does anybody know where I could find these old episodes, if indeed they are possible to get at all? Cheers.
