"MacGyver" is an American action-adventure television series created by Lee David Zlotoff and starring Richard Dean Anderson as the title character. Henry Winkler and John Rich were the executive producers.
The show ran for seven seasons on ABC in the United States and various other networks abroad from 1985 to 1992. The series was filmed in Los Angeles during seasons one, two, and seven, and in Vancouver during seasons three through six.
The show's final episode aired on April 25, 1992 on ABC (the network aired a previously unseen episode for the first time on May 21, 1992, but it was originally intended to air before the series finale).
The series was a moderate ratings success and gained a loyal following. It was popular in the United States and around the world. Two television movies, MacGyver: Lost Treasure of Atlantis and MacGyver: Trail to Doomsday, aired on ABC in 1994. A spin-off series, Young MacGyver, was planned in 2003, but only the pilot was made.

The A-Team is one of the most famous of the 1980s action series, running from 1983 to 1987.
The four members of the A-Team are:
Colonel John "Hannibal" Smith β played by George Peppard, he is the leader of the team, a cunning master of disguise.
Captain H.M. "Howlin' Mad" Murdock β played by Dwight Schultz, he is the resident pilot, who may or may not be insane.
Lieutenant Templeton "Faceman" Peck β played by Dirk Benedict, he is the "charmer" of the team.
Sergeant Bosco "B.A." ("Bad Attitude") Baracus β played by Mr. T, he is the team's strongman with a famous fear of flying.
Each episode would start with a bunch of innocent people being menaced by a bunch of people with guns, who want their land, water, taxi company etc.
They would go talk to a man who they thought would get them in contact with the A-Team. Most of the time, it would turn out to be a member of the A-Team β Hannibal in disguise who had to make sure the people in question are not part of a trap to capture the team.
They would go along to the location of the activity in their Cool Car, which in their case was actually a distinctive-looking custom van β an odd choice for a group who are supposed to be in hiding. There they would do a lot of A-Team Firing, beat up the baddies and often MacGyver up an armored vehicle over the course of an A-Team Montage.
The show ran for five seasons, with several minor cast changes along the way; the show's eventual decline was attributed to the constantly-recycled and extremely formulaic plot. Attempts to win viewers back, by both changing the overall premise and having the A-Team overseen by a former antagonist, worked for only a short while.
Logic and credibility were usually ignored for the series' trademark over-the-top explosions, but the show never took itself particularly seriously, anyway: most of Hannibal's disguises were paper-thin, the villains were usually mostly-inept and somewhat one-dimensional, and the weapons that the Team cobbled together from miscellaneous parts were invariably more effective than the machine guns that the episode's villains used.
The bluray rip is not my upload, and I do not have the space for it currently, when it goes down, it goes down..so grab it while you can :).
I know that many books from choices are inspired in stuff that many of us have already seen in films or TV like Platinum (that is like A Star Is Born), Queen B (something like Mean Girls) and Open Heart (Grey's Anatomy) but is there any book series you will like to see in live action?
I really think that Endless Summer can be a TV series, because is something like Lost meets The Cabin in the Woods, Avatar and any teen drama series. I think that could have success in Netflix or any other streaming platform.
My main point to this is, I donβt want to watch a tv series with under age characters are being sexualized. Itβs creepy and gross. Not only that but most these actors are legal age, and it develops this sort of sex appeal to character we think are in their teens. Itβs reprehensible.
Tv series would be much more enjoyable if the shows sexualized characters who are legal and it would be less pedolike. An example, Riverdale, a show of teens having sex and dressing very provocatively and their characters are all supposed to be highschool age. Itβs yikes.
University experiences are 100% better than high school. High school tv series are now made up of weird groups that donβt exist in the real world. The preppy hot chicks, the sexy jocks, and the super nerdy losers. None of these exist and itβs purely Hollywood.
Series where the character is from high school is always super cringe in terms of dating, in terms of prom and it always never veers in a unique manner.
Adults exist, were in abundance and weβd love to have series catered to us. We also, would like to watch shows where we donβt feel like weβre being put on a list because the characters are underage when you could just have them be young legal adults. Itβs also super hard to relate. As an adult, I donβt care about high school prom and itβs super boring and just all around lame.
Give us some more adult shows and leave the kids to their Roblox, Fortnite and whatever. Even these sexualized teen shows are terrible representations of reality. I barely slept with people as a high schooler, most people didnβt experience their real sexual experience until legal age. What happened to shows that were decent role models for teenagers, like Boy Meets World. Now we have shows where itβs just super messed up life expectations for younger audiences who are trying to figure themselves out. This is going to confuse them more.
Hello r/appleswap!
I have a few devices that are no longer getting used that I hope to be able to find some new homes for. All prices are negotiable and more pictures can be provided upon request. Please comment before PMing and thanks for looking!
** Apple TV 4 (32GB) - $70 + shipping ** SOLD!!!
In excellent condition and there are no issues to speak of. No original box but I do have the power cable and remote.
** Apple TV 4K (32GB) - $115 + shipping ->! ** SOLD!!!
The unit itself works perfectly but as you can see, the original remote was slightly damaged. It actually still works perfectly fine and Iβm including it since it looks like you need to use the original remote when setting the device up from scratch. The newer, undamaged remote is included in the price and it will all come in itβs original packaging.
** Apple Watch Series 4 (LTE) Silver - $350 + shipping ** Timestamp
The watch is in great condition and was used pretty much daily for the last several months. There are zero issues with itβs operation but there is a discoloration on the original band. I belive something like a Magic Eraser can clean that up but I did not have one on hand when taking the pictures. Apple Care is on it until November 2020 and this was connected to Verizon when I had the cellular enabled. There is currently a Zagg film installed and I will include the box for that so you can use the lifetime warranty if needed. The original box and all accessories are incluced.
** Early 2016 MacBook (Space Gray) - $450 + shipping ** SOLD!!!
Retina display, 1.2GHz Core m5/8GB RAM/512GB/112 cycles; itβs in excellent condition with no cosmetic damages that I can find. The screen is fully fuctional with no issues and has never had to be replaced. It will also come with the original box and charger.
I saw the trailer for Foundation recently and never read the books.
I was looking up the cast and there are three Desis in the TV series. They are in the majority of episodes for the first season which I believe goes up to 10 episodes. Expecting some good characters.
However the TV series is a major release by Apple TV and looks to have cost a lot of money. Isaac Asimov book series was one of the main blue prints for Star Wars so a lot expectation from the Sci Fi community is waiting for this series
DUNE remake is releasing later this year on HBO MAX which could compete for attention.
It is hard to find a lot of information as I think the creators do not want leaks to the media before release date.
Maybe for those who have read the books are familiar with these character names.
What I do know is Rowan played by Pravessh Rana is a character that does not exist in the book but added by the creators. Do not know about the other two.

It seems like for every three or four slices of life there's a an apocalypse that requires relationships to solve...
UPDATE With hints:
1 its for a younger group
3, the solution, in the end, is always the same.
I really miss that true apportionment Television. The streamers do okay and all, but mostly it's I've got my shows, she has her shows, and the kids have their shows. Not too much where the whole family sits and watches something together. The best I can do is force my kids to watch some old TV show while we eat dinner. Currently on Perfect Strangers, I was surprised when they really dug it. I remember as a kid sitting with the whole family when The Winds of War or the like came on. Feel free to add your own shows/movies/mini-series that really stuck out in your memory.
When we broke up and tried to get back together like so many others and it did not workout. We always watched movies, shows as it was our thing and those shows are continuing but I could not seem to finish the newer seasons as it was "our thing" so after 2 years of re-watching The office and youtube things I just wanted to say I am Proud of Myself for finishing a brand new TV Series!
I felt good and freeing for some odd reason as it was something I did for me

With the recent release of yet ANOTHER exorcism movie that flopped, It's kind of got me thinking about Demonic Possession/exorcism as a horror subgenre.
To me, I think the major thing that The Exorcist, The Exorcist III Legion, and The Exorcist 2016 did that made those three things superior to any other demonic possession/exorcism movie was that it made the demon into a character as opposed to just some scary spooky monster that makes people act crazy.
An example would be how in The Exorcist 2016, how Pazuzu manifested himself to Casey as someone she could trust and someone who promised that he would take care of her and protect her, only to worm his way in and start taking total control of her. Pazuzu presented himself to Casey in a similar way as her mother from the 1973 film. A missing father figure. Regan's father was physically absent from her life due to a divorce while Casey's father had suffered brain damage due to a concussion and was mentally absent from her life.
Also, I think that the lines that the demon said in The Exorcist 2016 were bone chillingly brilliant. "Hell? Do you know what hell even is, Regan? It's where your daughter is right now...In a room with no windows, nailed to the floor, alone forever knowing it was her mother who put her there.....but don't worry, there's room for two...." Also in that same episode, I also thought it was really brilliant for the demon to reveal one of Angela/Regan's deepest secrets to a whole bunch of priests and nuns, that before Kat and Casey were born, Regan got pregnant and had an abortion (big no no in the catholic church) due to fear of what could happen to her children.
However, one of the things that I've noticed about modern exorcism movies is that they try WAY too hard to be spoopy and scary that it almost comes off as comical. It's pretty much this formula, have a posessed girl in a nightgown be tied up or chained down in some dark, dank dungeon or abandoned building, or spooky gothic church, have a priest shouting prayers and splashing holy water while the girl simply screams, convulses, and acts more like a mental patient than a possessed person. Then something goes wrong and everyone dies, the end. And that is literally every possession movie that tries to brand itself as "Scarier than The Exorcist".
Exorcist: The Beginning from 2004 almost suffers from the same problem, and that's technically considered the canon prequel to The Exorcist, Exorcist III and Exorcist 2016. (Dominion w
