Something interesting about the American M60 tanks I dug up
So I was browsing internet literature about tanks one day (specifically the M60 Patton because I like it), and I came across some information from the gulf war. Apparently, later model M60s (M60A1 RISE & M60A3 in game) were issued early versions of M900 APFSDS in the late 1980s and during the gulf war. I've played the M60s in War Thunder, and honestly they do kind of underperform for all that I enjoy them. Sure they have good guns, okay mobility and useable armor, but they don't really excel at anything. Most other nations around 8.0-9.3 usually excel at 1 or 2 things. The Germans excel at speed and firepower with their leopards, while the Russians excel at protection with their composite-clad beasts. American tanks do fall behind around 8.0-9.3, so giving the M60 Pattons their gulf-war issued round would, in my opinion, help to balance them. I also don't think giving them these advanced rounds would make them overpowered either, as their limited mobility and protection would help to balance this, meaning the Pattons could make for really good slow and steady tanks, or snipers. Let me know what you guys think, but I would love to see the Pattons become viable tanks again given how good they served the US military in real life.

This may be a bit of a stretch but Gaijin Please Add the M60 2000 to the US tech tree at maybe 9.0 - 10.3. It is a prototype tank but like the HSTV-L I think it would be a good addition to the US line up :) I believe that it would be a small solution to the on-going problem at 9.0 against Germany.

TIL in 1995, a man named Shawn Nelson stole and drove an M60 Patton tank in a rampage, destroying cars, traffic lights, an RV and others throughout San Diego, California. Police had no means to disable the tank and once asked the U.S. Marines to intervene in the form of a Cobra helicopter airstrike.

Iβll have enough XP soon for either the T95E6 or the M60. I see a few T95E6 on the battlefield but not too many M60. I have read the M60 is a superior tank but needs a bit more skill. Just need some advice from players with either tank. Thanks .
I asked for advice(Thank you) recently for the best premium medium tank. I purchased the Draugen which has been a revelation because I usually play Heavy and TDβs. So now I have want to add a couple more mediums to the garage. Iβm a average player but enjoy playing for fun and the occasional rage at the Wot online services.
