Also known under the pen name, Zhou Shuren, Lu Xun was a very influential writer in Modern Chinese Literature. OTL, he was the head of the League of Left-Wing Writers in Shanghai, even being admired by Mao Zedong himself. In regards to cannibalism, Xun wrote in his book Diary of a Madman about how the protagonist became convinced that all of Chinese history could be summarized in two words: "Eat people". So let's assume Lu Xun didn't die in 1936 this timeline and led a Cannibalist Accelerationist Faction.
The idea of this state is a sort of transhumanism, but one that is different from Gastev's. This is one based on the idea of evolving into a higher species that prey on lower life forms: Humans. The theory here is that in normalizing cannibalism and encouraging hunting of the weak, man will evolve into a super predator. This process involves a revolution of culture, religion, economics, and most importantly the way in which war is conducted. You could think of this as something like a Chinese themed Liber 333, only the people making this ideology actually believe the shit they are promoting. Now if I had to give this faction a name, I would call it Temple of the Crimson Pavillion (ToCP). Economically they are very similar to OTL Maoists, but they have a distinct libertine flavor when it comes to social policy. They despise Buddhism, Confuscianism, Islam, Christianity, and Traditional approaches to Shenism. Instead, they encourage the worship of various demons of Chinese Mythology, a sort of Left-Handed Shamanism. This, of course, is also promoted in tandem with State and Leader worship. The end goal of the ToCP is that once all of China has been conquered, the people will storm the capitol and cannibalize the state itself, thus paving the way for an anarchistic zone where the Next Species can evolve unhindered by government authority.
Now I can probably guess that Lu Xun wouldn't have led such a party OTL, but this is Red Flood where cool is the rule. Besides, there isn't enough edgy satanic Chinese paths in the game if I do say so myself.
Thought my fellow enthusiasts of 3K on reddit might enjoy this thread and particularly this top answer on quora as much as I did:

>Most of the generals who serve Shu-Han would be ecstatic at Luo Guanzhongโs portrayal of their characters.
>Guan Yu was deified, in addition to Guan Ping, so they would have both pleased by the way he portrayed them in the novel. Especially due to the fact that Luo Guanzhong made Guan Yuโs defection to Cao Cao in 199 seem more honourable than it really was. Guan Yu and Zhang Fei may be confused why they were presented as Liu Beiโs sworn brothers, but Iโm sure that their presentation as Liu Beiโs substitute family wouldnโt have annoyed them one bit.
>Zhang Fei might question why he was portrayed as a drunk but it makes him a little bit easier to sympathise with so itโs up to him how heโd take it.
>Zhao Yun and Liao Hua would have probably been pleased too, because ROTK portrayed them as heroic die-hard loyal officers, far greater than the mediocre officers they were historically. Itโs clear to say that Zhuge Liang wouldnโt have been at all dismayed either. Perhaps Liao Hua would be a little unsure why he was presented as a Yellow Turban, but heโd get over that.
>Ma Chao would be glad that the truth behind his slaughterous savagery went significantly unmentioned in ROTK, and that he was also presented as a symbol of justice.
> Huang Zhong and Wei Yan would probably be a little confused about their relation to Han Xuanโs supposed murder, and Iโm sure almost everyone involved in that debacle (Liu Beiโs conquest of Southern Jing) would be baffled. Itโd be like reading fanfiction about themselves. I suppose in a way, it is. Wei Yan would be outraged, and rightfully so, since the novel removes most of his deeds and titles, and presents him as a treacherous warrior, but he wouldnโt be too surprised that someone who is being bias towards Zhuge Liang would do such a thing.
>Chen Dao and Huang Quan would want to know why they were practically omitted in entirety, in spite of the latterโs significance in the army.
>Jiang Wei would probably be a combination of pleased and angered at his own portrayal as steadily loyal yet an unstable, desperate manic.
>Zhang Bao and Guan X

I could really use some help, y'all! I have a pet card card that I built a deck around about a year ago, Lux Xun Scholar General. The whole plan was to play unblockable creatures them give them the ability to draw cards when they do damage. Well, it sort of worked., but I could never find a way to finish games. And eventually I would run out of gas just pinging people for a damage point or two. I want to scrap the deck and start from scratch, still using Lu Xun as my general, but I need some ideas as to how to make him work. Should I go Voltron, equipping the hell out of him. Should I go monoblue goodstuff, should I...? Any help would be hugely appreciated! Update: So I went equipment Voltron with heavy control elemente from blue, and this deck is crazy! I am drawing an insane amount of cards, and have consistent answers! Thank you to everyone!
For me, itโs got to be Cao Hong. Lu Xun and Jiang Wei are up there too.

Here's the deck I built for my Secret Santa. I've been wanting to build a blue-based Equipment deck using Blue's artifact synergy cards for awhile now, and my giftee's requests presented the perfect opportunity to. Lu Xun seemed like an interesting commander to use: While he doesn't have any built in protection, he is essentially unblockable and can help keep out hand full (even when he's not equipped).
Due to him not having protection, I put a big emphasis on countermagic, plus a handfull of hexproof equipment. The deck also has several boune-based Wrath effects to help keep the deck alive against go-wide decks, as well as 3 of the 4 TrX Mage creatures: Trinket, Trophy, and Tribute (plus honorable Mage Deadeye Quartermaster), which each can find a variety of situational cards depending on the gamestate, and can even wear some Equipment in a pinch.
Some spicy includes include Shimmer Dragon, which can draw a whole ton of cards by tapping our equipment, Tezzeret, Cruel Machinist, a surprisingly solid PW deck walker that can help hold down the ground or draw cards, and the criminally underrated Mirrormade, which for 3 mana is another random equipment or mana rock worst case, but an opponents' game-winning artifact or enchantment at best (and surprisingly frequently).
I hope you enjoy this deck, giftee! I really enjoyed building it, and I think it'll play pretty uniquely.
I recently saw a collection of Lu Xun's stories for sale on Amazon and I was wondering if anyone could tell me what his writings like and if he's worth a look at.

More specifically, what does ้ๅฐ mean here?
Lu Xun was a Chinese author writing during what is known as the May 4th Movement (early 1900s China - many know him from "A Madman's Diary). At a certain point in his life, he was feeling pretty depressed about his ability to effect meaningful change in the world around him and he wrote the following in the preface to a collection of his short stories:
"Imagine an iron house without windows, absolutely indestructible, with many people fast asleep inside who will soon die of suffocation. But you know since they will die in their sleep, they will not feel the pain of death. Now if you cry aloud to wake a few of the lighter sleepers, making those unfortunate few suffer the agony of irrevocable death, do you think you are doing them a good turn?"
He was given the answer:
"But if a few awake, you can't say there is no hope of destroying the iron house."
I have thought of this analogy frequently over the years. I think of it every time I interact with the "faithful." Am I doing them a good turn? Are they better off just dying in their sleep? Lu Xun had no real hope that he could tear down the iron house. He had no hope that he could actually help any of the people inside. He only had the faintest hope that perhaps someone down the line could build off of what he did and that one day things might change.
(Historically, what followed the May 4th Movement was far worse than I think he even imagined, so there is that to think on as well. Also, for a literary analysis of this story that does a really good job of getting to the heart of the matter, I recommend Carolyn Brown's "The Paradigm of the Iron House: Shouting and Silence in Lu Hsun's Short Stories.")
In my imagination, the protagonist will be in Wei.
The final boss of the base game will be Guan yu(Battle of Fancheng)
DLC 1 boss will be Zhuge Liang(battle of Wuzhang Plain)
DLC 2 will be Wei yan
DLC 3 is Jiang Wei(Rebel with Zhong Hui)
If the protagonist is shu then maybe
Bass game Lu xun( Battle of Yiling )
DLC1 Zhang he(Battle of Jieting)
DLC2 Sima Yi(battle of Wuzhang Plain)
DLC3 Deng Ai(Conquest of Shu )
Have you ever wonder why the novel, set in Three Kingdoms period, is the most popular Chinese historical fiction out of any other historical fiction? Why doesn't novel set in war of 8 princes or 5 dynasty as popular as the Three kingdoms? What made Three kingdoms period stand out from other period?
To be honest, I don't have definitive answer why Rotk becomes the most popular Chinese novel and got adapt into comic, movies and vdo game so many times. I only have a personal opinion about it, and in personal opinion the Three Kingdoms became widely known due to

Ah Q is known for deluding himself into believing he is the victor every time he loses a fight. In one scene in Chapter 2, Ah Q is beaten and had his silver stolen while he was gambling beside the theater. He slaps himself on the face, and because he is the person doing the slapping, he sees himself as the victor.
When Mr. Zhao, an honored landlord of the village, beats Ah Q in a fight, Ah Q considers himself important for having even a tiny association with such a person. Though some villagers suspect Ah Q may have no true association with Mr. Zhao, they do not question the matter closely, and instead give Ah Q more respect for a time.
Ah Q is often close-minded about petty things. When he ventures into a new town and sees that a "long bench" is called a "straight bench," he believes their way to be instantly inferior and totally wrong.
There is a scene in which Ah Q harasses a nun to make himself feel better. He pinches her and blames his problems on her. Instead of crying out at the injustice of Ah Q's bullying, the crowd nearby laughs.
One day, news of the Xinhai Revolution comes into town. Both landlord families, the Zhao and the Qian families, become revolutionaries to keep their power. Other people, calling themselves a "revolutionary army", rob the houses of the landlords and rich men. Ah Q also wants to join them and also call himself a revolutionary. But when the time comes, he misses the opportunity to act, because he slept in one morning and no one woke him up. Finally, Ah Q is arrested as a scapegoat for the looting and sentenced to death by the new governor.
When Ah Q is asked to sign a confession, he worries that he cannot write his name. The officers tell him to sign a circle instead. Ah Q is so worried abo
