Iβm trying to look for affordable longevity peach cakes in Manhattan however I think most will be expensive since I found one at Fay Da Bakery (highly recommend theyβre great) but itβs $100 and Iβm only looking to spend less than $40
So Iβm mainly trying to look for longevity peach buns in Manhattan and I know Chinatown would be a good area but I need to know specifically where so if anyone could list me a place or a few that sell the peach buns that would be great
Also this is for a birthday in June
I wanted to make something for my boyfriend's mom's birthday, and thought these were so cute. (side note: if you are not Chinese and are dating someone Chinese, make these for one of their family members birthdays because they are super easy, cheap, and it's likely that no one even bothers to make them since you usually buy them. you likely have all the ingredients already in your kitchen except for a $3 bag of red beans/lotus seeds and everyone will be impressed.)
In looking up recipes online, I really hated the pink highlighter color of most homemade peach buns, so I used one drop of pink and one drop of red coloring diluted with water and painted on with a pastry brush. I combined a few different recipes available online in making these (namely this youtube video and this blog post.
I filled them with a homemade red bean paste (just water, azuki beans, and sugar), although later batches were filled with lotus seed paste (water, seeds, sugar, and oil). I did this bc I didn't want them to be too sweet, but you can always purchase pre-made bean or lotus paste.
I love a fruity scent and there's something really special about peak season peaches that begs at all your senses. Here's a rundown of the peach scents I was able to get my hands on.
Peche Cardinal MDCI Parfums
My first whiff of a peach fragrance. It's a bright and dry impression of a peach. The scent is cobbled together with individual notes of plum, coconut and lily to pump up the sweet and fresh facets of a peach. There's a little cedar and musk that come off a little dusty, a little vintage. It's a really elegant composition that is more grown up than candy-sweet. This is your mother's peach perfume.
Peau de Peche Keiko Mecheri
A squirt of peach juice in the summer breeze. This is a realistic peach, though an under-ripe one. It's clean as hell, there's a touch of greenness on the open. It's light as a feather, every note in it just whispers: a blend of white flowers, musk, fruit. This feels to me like a long lost Jo Malone scent, in the best and worst ways. It feels youthful in its simplicity and low performance, but satisfying while it lasts.
1969 Histoires de Parfums
I would call this a simmered peach. At first sniff it's honeyed and spiced fruit. I definitely get clove and cardamom but there's a prominent rose note to keep it more fresh than spice-market. You get a little chocolate on the patchouli in the drydown, but I wouldn't call it a true gourmand. Probably the sexiest of the bunch, gives me Jane Fonda vibes.
Flower of Immortality By Kilian
This is what you get if you gave Keiko's Peche a megaphone. This is my summer peach fantasy: a realistic juicy peach with little distraction. To me this is all rose and fruit and there's some quiet iris and currant that sit in the background. It maintains that cleanness but it's a little louder and with better performance. Unabashedly feminine and playful; it's a young couple rolling around in a peach grove.
Tom Ford Bitter Peach
I didn't want to sample this one, because I had a feeling it would be really good and I'd have to buy it. This is a dreamy impression of a peach. I get mouthfuls of heliotrope, just hazy vanillic flower. It has a touch of cognac, with it's vague spicy and caramel notes. A little jasmine. Longevity sucks, and the fruit note fades fast, but it's like a lot of Tom Ford scents: there's little complexity but high impact. Overall a gorgeous cloudy, hallucination of a peach.
Have you tried any of these?

As it's show and tell weekend, I thought I'd post my perfume 'collection' on here. As some of you may know I review perfumes on here when I get chance, and have a particular fondness for Penhaligon's. Because of that, I've picked up a ton of their bottles. Whilst they have cost me a fair old penny, I've actually paid for the majority of them through clever ebaying, so this is a sideline hobby, as opposed to something that's cost me a fortune.
Anyway, let's run through them.
https://ibb.co/VVmCf75
Starting on the top row and working from backwards to front, and then left to right...
The Uncompromising Sohan - A rose/oud with a distinctive cumin note. Possibly the most in your face perfume I own - one for when you want to make an impression. Makes me feel 10ft tall...!
The Tragedy of Lord George - A neo-fougere based around a lavender shaving cream accord/tonka with a boozy top. Classy, modern and refined. Amazing bottle cap. Sometimes difficult to find the correct place to wear it (it feels too formal for a t-shirt, but perhaps too informal for a suit!).
The Impudent Cousin Matthew - A petitgrain based summer perfume. Smells incredible (and you could actually pick this up free on the Penhaligon's website when you spent over Β£75 recently). Longevity is the only issue I have with this one. It's superb.
Much Ado About The Duke - A slightly unusual gin/black pepper accord sitting alongside rose and cumin. Perhaps the most experimental of the Penhaligon's portraits. And another favourite of mine.
The Inimitable William Penhaligon - Definitely not experimental! Vetiver, ambroxan, jasmine. What it lacks in uniqueness it makes up for by just smelling so sodding good. Actually my most complimented perfume to the extent my boss once stopped a Skype meeting she was in to comment on it. Ha.
The Revenge of Lady Blanche. A green floral that I actually really enjoy wearing, despite the fact that Penhaligon's market this one as feminine. Clean, deep, somewhat shampoo-y in the base. Excellent.
Heartless Helen - A tuberose and ambroxan dominant perfume. Not necessarily original, and not the best in the Portraits range but still exceptionally wearable. There's also a slight tropical accord in there which I enjoy.
Terrible Teddy - Leather/Incense/Ambroxan. Loud and potent. Indeed, sometimes a little too loud and potent! I enjoy this one, but only when the occasion suits. A bit like wearing a leather jacket. Quite challenging as the
What up, I'm back with more reviews. This time it's actually only 7 scents! I think. There might be an extra in there.
About me: (scent preferences wise, not like... me personally) I lean towards wood, incense, wood, tobacco, patchouli, wood, realistic florals, peach, wood, and other rich dark scents. I'm not opposed to trying new stuff though, but I tend to shy away from foody gourmands. I want to eat the baguette not become the baguette.
I tested all these one at a time, with about a week of rest, minimum. TO THE SCENTS!
Day 1: Private Eye by Solstice Scents
(Natural Blend of Cocoa, Myrrh, Pink Pepper, Black Pepper, Tonka, Buddha Wood, Tobacco, Coffee, Guiacwood & More)
Bottle: Gun oil?? And chocolate??
On: Yep, smells like gun oil somehow lmao There's a cocoa hint and a coffee-ish smell. But like coffee that's been in the pot all day. I can smell the pepper as well. This smells like guns though. Like. It smells like a old revolver. It's nothing I'd smell on a person and think, 'that's a perfume'. Its a weeeird scent that I enjoy, but I'm not sure why I enjoy it? It smells sharp and murky brown. It also makes me hungry???? Moderate throw, nothing wild. Lasted 8 hours, even through repeated hand washings. I'll keep my sample but I don't know that I need a FS.
Makes me think of: Ok. Weird. But it makes me think of my parents house? Specifically my dad's 'junk room'. He restores antique guns and is always leaving coffee cups in weird places. Chaotic deep south memories aside, it's a great unisex steampunk scent! Or like... someone whos really into civil/revolutionary war reenactments.
Day 2: Pyromancy - Sixteen92
(Green cardamom, fireplace embers, agarwood, smoked tea, white tobacco, hearth smoke)
Bottle: Fresh ground pepper.
On: Warm, spicy pepper. Which is weird because there's no pepper in the notes. On one wrist I get a hint of tobacco, on the other an ash smell. Overall, it's faint, but it's quite good. I tested this before and it seemed much stronger but today it's a fairly subdued peppery scent.
Ok, I reapplied cuz it was bothering me that I remembered this being more complex and stronger. I tilted the vial back and forth to mix it a little before application this time and now I can smell the agar and hint of smoke. Throw is still fairly close but it isn't just... I sprinkled myself with pepper. I will probably want a big bottle of this at some point.
Update: *I wore this again a coupl
... keep reading on reddit β‘Hello people! Iβve recently gotten back into to indies have been enjoying the many helpful and colorful reviews from this community and figured I should give reviewing a shot. I am still very much a newbie so apologies if the descriptions are not the most nuanced. Overall Iβm extremely impressed with this house and had a really high hit rate. Below Iβll go through my ordering experience and thoughts on each fragrance.
Ordering experience: I ordered from the Winter Bake Sale on November 19th, though I had previously placed a smaller order. I requested to have them combined in the comment on the bake sale order. Meaghan did so and my shipping on the for order was promptly refunded. The order was shipped on December 10th and delivered on December 18th. Not the shortest TAT Iβve experienced but the brand was transparent and honest and for a major event from an indie brand I think it was really impressive!
The order was packed securely and was very cute with bakery and winter holiday theming. The package came with a couple delicious maple candies, a mini candy cane, and a packet of tea.
A little about my taste: I tend to like βheavier scentsβ with incense and resin notes, patchouli, dry herbs, and overall earthy and dark tones. On the other hand, I thoroughly enjoy white floral like jasmine, gardenia, and honeysuckle and fresh herbal garden-y scents. Iβm not big on traditional gourmands but Iβve developed a real affinity for coffee and tea scents, especially black tea and boozy coffee.
I dislike traditional clean βblueβ scents and most tropical scents. Iβve never had much luck with fruity scents and I think my skin amps citrus in way that makes it come off like strong orange candy. I also donβt care for most berry scents.
Review process:
I let all the scents rest for about a week (I donβt really remember the exact amount of days). I wore all of them by themselves either on separate days or after Iβd washed off or couldnβt smell the previous scent at all. Iβll try to rate scents on scale from 1 to 5, though I did them in some half point for scents Iβm on the fence about. * indicate freebies
1 = hate it, get it off me now, 2 = I donβt like it but itβs not offensive and I see why someone would like it, 3 = I like it but am not sure Iβd reach for it, nothing special to me, 4= I really like it but Iβm not head over heels, 5 = instant love, it haunts me, keeps me up at night and I think about when Iβm with other perfumes

Me: oh I'm sorry to hear that what was wrong with your items
C: well I ordered a SCAL but it tasted super acidic. And it never tastes like this when I get it. And I got a lemon loaf that didn't taste good at all. We got two and one of them tasted ok but the other didn't.
Me: I'm sorry to hear that were the lemon loafs left in the packaging? ( We leave our pastries in the package to prevent cross contamination and to keep the longevity if the customer doesn't want to eat it right away)
C: They both were in the package still yes
Me: that's very weird I'm sorry to hear that when are you wanting to get these remade?
C: oh I don't want them remade
Me: o...k... Then why did you call?

C: no I can't come back up there I have somewhere to be can't you just look up my order and refund now?

Ok so I've pulled up your order and I see that you got a few other things. $25 dollars worth in fact. I unfortunately can't refund individual items over the phone so in order for me to refund the items that you didn't like, you would have to be here in person. (By the way, it was at this point that I saw that they ordered their SCAL decaf. So of course it was going to be more acidic)

Me: I would have to ring that up as a custom iced tea so it will cost more than .80 is that ok?
C: why?
Me: because Starbucks told us that we aren't allowed to.
C: well I talked to corporate and they said they know nothing about that rule
Me: well, they definitely know because they're the ones who told us we get weekly updates that they send us. And it was in one of them

First of all, dad jokes CAN be NSFW, it clearly says so in the sub rules. Secondly, it doesn't automatically make it a dad joke if it's from a conversation between you and your child. Most importantly, the jokes that your CHILDREN tell YOU are not dad jokes. The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. They are stupid plays on words, lame puns and so on. There has to be a clever pun or wordplay for it to be considered a dad joke.
Again, to all the fellow dads, I apologise if I'm sounding too harsh. But I just needed to get it off my chest.
You insolent demon, how blind you are! You may think Iβm small, but I can grow easily enough. You may think Iβm unarmed, but I could pull the moon down from the sky with my two hands. Donβt worry, old Sun WuKong will sock you one!
BIO: Sun Wukong was born from a magical stone formed from chaos. He joined a clan of monkeys, and discovered a secret cave that the monkeys could use as their new home, named it the "Mountain of Flowers and Fruit". The monkeys were grateful and accepted Wukong as their king. However, Sun Wukong was not happy only ruling over monkeys, as he wanted Immortality. He sets off on a journey that would end with him rebelling against heaven and being imprisoned under a mountain by the Buddha. He later accompanies the monk Xuanzang on a journey to retrieve Buddhist sutras on a Journey To West, and by the end is known as the Buddha of Victorious Fighting.
Titles: Sun Wukong, Son Goku (Japanese Pronunciation), Stone Monkey, The Handsome Monkey King, The Great Sage Equal to Heaven, Brother Monkey, Protector of Horses.

A mixed list of Poesie reviews (General Catalog, Holiday Favorites, Winter Magic). All scents were reviewed after at least 2 weeks of rest. Several I've tried a few times throughout. Black Friday scents, Quill & Ink, and Fall Favorites I might write a part 2 on. My ratings are slightly arbitrary, so at most use them as a guide (since my opinion and scent detection changes on a daily basis). I've tried to average out my opinions and limit the impact of first impressions. Let me know if you want expanded thoughts on anything!
Notes: relatively new to indies. Poesie was my first order back in Sept 2021. Previously was given some indies from a small shop (Imaginary Authors, Blocki, Kerosene) years and years ago. I once went hunting for a signature scent with a friend, and I settled over a year later (then went through 100+mL of Burberry Rhythm for Him, which I've since aged out of and stored in poor conditions, so it's become more astringent anyways). I'm still that girl that wears Old Spice deoderant for herself, but I've also branched into more foody scents.
Likes (in no particular order): purple flowers, jasmine (not indolic), sweetness, tobacco, whisky, firewood, golden amber, creamy qualities, clean aldehydes, vanilla, salt, animalic musk (low levels), green tea, smoked teas, peach/pit fruits, baking spices. My one designer surprise was Prada Infusions d'Amande. It's weirdly airy on spray, but it settles into the most gorgeous, creamy, safe feeling scent if you spray it onto clothes. I've yet to upsize because of the upfront cost and specific use case I have for it. Would love recs for a creamy almond.
Dislikes: strong white florals, bad roses (Chloe Roses was borderline), cherry, mixed berries
##General Catalog
Been exploring these through the custom samplers across two different purchases.
Athena: sun-baked Mediterranean herbs and earth, a rich and resinous vanilla spiked with a complex blend of incense and spice, exquisite grey musk
Notes: I just get lots of rosemary. Rosemary overlying the grey musk. Reminds me of Subway 4 cheese and herbs. It induces a slight headache in me. Less of the musk would have been perfectly lovely. Counter: I quite like Villa Diodati which opens up with a similar, punchy rosemary. The base is different for that though.
Rating (note accuracy): 2.5/5. No inceses and spices beyond rosemary (anything else is very subtle, maybe a touch of fennel and ginger). No vanilla that I could detect

I have recently become interested in fragrances, I basically have no knowledge as to what my preferences are or whatβs out there. I decided to start sampling (5ml decants) and below are my impressions. The ones I selected are quite random and just sounded interesting to me. Please recommend your favorite fragrances or what you think I would enjoy based on what I wrote.
Tabac Rose by BDK: I was instantly allured. The opening is a dark, sumptuous fruity vibe - its sexy and puzzling. This fragrance is smoky and sweet - I instantly recognize the tobacco notes. I really like this - itβs a mysterious and promiscuous scent, almost like the way you smell after leaving a nightclub. It kind of reminds me of the smell of hookah. I like the chocolate in this much more than I thought I would (as I donβt even eat chocolate). Thereβs definitely an exotic quality to Tabac Rose - Iβm not sure what it is, but it makes me feel foreign. Its vampy and suggestive - definitely a polarizing smell. I have no idea where I would even wear this, but Iβm into it (5/5).
Creme de Cuir by BDK: Creme de Cuir is a very nice suede scent. I mostly smell suede and musk, with hints of sandalwood. On my skin the citrus notes disappear. While it is a pleasant and elegant scent, its quite powdery and not very interesting. I love suede so I do enjoy Creme de Cuir, but its not interesting enough for me to buy a full bottle, especially at full price. (3/5).
Pas Ce Soir by BDK: Pas Ce Soir is a very fruity and floral scent with the orange notes + jasmine being the most prominent to my nose. Flirty, fun, and a bit tangy. I donβt know what quince is supposed to smell like, but I assume its creating the tartness that I pick up on. On my skin, it does not come off as woody or spicy. I like this but the sillage and longevity were terrible, which was surprising as the other BDK fragrances were pretty strong on me. Also, while this is pretty and fun, it really does smell like something I could get at Victoria's Secret for $30. (2/5).
Love Shot by Ex Nihilo: To me, Love Shot is a feminine and classy scent. The raspberry note was dominant, and overall its a musky + fruity jasmine. I did not get much leather from this. I wanted to like Love Shot, as the notes looked promising and the reviews were very positive. But something about this was too powdery and sharp for me. I wanted more leather + patchouli or for the florals to be more prominent. On my skin, itβs simply a raspberry that transit

Itβs been a hot minute since Iβve done a dedicated review post, and Iβm back again with Nui Cobalt reviews. This review post is exclusively on samples I received as press release from Nui Cobalt. However, I have a large Nui Cobalt collection, the majority of which was purchased with my own money, and all of my opinions in this post (and my previous PR reviews) are my own, honest opinions.
Unfortunately, I fell behind and so a bunch of these perfumes are not currently available for purchase as the collections came down. However, once of the beautiful things about Nui Cobalt is that they frequently bring back popular perfumes, and their collections are available for a long period of time. So if you see something you are interested in and itβs gone, itβs probably not gone forever! The Autumn 2021 collection remains up until sometime in February I believe, so there's still time for perfumes from that category. :)
I've talked about this previously, but I heard about Nui Cobalt through IMAM and my first purchase was from the 2020 Bees Collection when I fell in love with Liquid Luck. From there on, Nui Cobalt has become one of my favourite perfume houses. I appreciate the creativity behind the collections, how Forest sets intentions for each perfume, the lack of FOMO, excellent customer service, and speedy shipping.
In terms of my perfume preferences, I prefer high longevity (i.e., a work day at minimum) and sillage is less important to me. I'm generally open to different notes and trying new ones, but I primarily gravitate towards florals (particularly white florals), forest scents, and certain gourmands. I personally enjoy powder notes in a perfume. I find that I amp smoke, oudh, and motor oil / grease.
My experience with Nui Cobalt perfumes is that they typically have low-medium sillage (though some have higher sillage) with good wafting but not overpowering. Longevity is also usually a full work day.

I'm so happy Arcana is offering samples again! For the most part, I have a decent success rate with this house but I typically still prefer to buy samples when I can thanks to my skin turning some notes weird every now and then.
As per usual, these have rested for a week after arrival before testing. Testing is done by me putting a small amount on my inner or outer wrists. I will do a sniff of the bottle and then subsequent thoughts while it is wet then on the dry down if there is anything to note during any of that.
You may be able to tell my preferences lean heavily into gourmands, so many of these sounded perfect for me. Let's get into the reviews...
----------------------------------------------------------
Glittering White : An opening of cold peppermint settles into a heart of sugar cookies, marshmallows, white chocolate, and vanilla musk.
From the bottle alone this smells like a beautiful and creamy peppermint. Like a cookie or perhaps a flavored coffee syrup. This is dessert peppermint. On the skin, it performs much the same. There is almost a creaminess to it. It smells amazing. I would FS this. My only criticism here is that it is wearing super close to my wrist. A gorgeous scent I just wish the projection was a bit better on me.
Rating : βοΈ βοΈ βοΈ βοΈ four snowflakes (would be five if better projection)
Glittering Ginger : Ginger cookies, gingerbread, and fresh gingerroot are blended with our Glittering White (an opening of cold peppermint settles into a heart of sugar cookies, marshmallows, white chocolate, and vanilla musk).
Directly from the bottle this actually smells a bit more like raw ginger to me. On the skin, it is again reading similar to raw ginger versus a gourmandy ginger. There is the slightest hit here of a sugary/baked element but for the most part, it is raw ginger front and center. It's interesting but I don't think I like straight-up ginger enough for getting a lot of wear from this. With more wear time, the "raw" biting aspect softens up and I am getting more of the baked goods now :)
Rating : βοΈ βοΈ βοΈ three snowflakes
Glittering Cherry : Candied maraschino cherries with our Glittering White (an opening of cold peppermint settles into a heart of sugar cookies, marshmallows, white chocolate, and vanilla musk).
In the bottle, this does smell a little cough syrup-like to me. But let's see if it is different when actually worn! Okay, a lot less medicinal. Still kind of getting cough drop vi

But no, seriously. I understand rule 7 is great to have intelligent discussion, but sometimes it feels like 1 in 10 posts here is someone getting upset about the jokes on this sub. Let the mods deal with it, they regulate the sub.
They were cooked in Greece.
I'm surprised it hasn't decade.
Photography = not my strong suit.
By way of background, Iβve been an almost lifelong fragrance lover since my very first spritz of GAP Dream at ageβ¦ 11? 12? Who knows, Iβm old. Fragrance is a hobby Iβve swanned in and out of since my teenage years, and once upon a time (like, when I was 20), I was one of those people scrambling from rented apartment to rented apartment, trying to package sixty, seventy full-sized fragrance bottles with every move. I have learned a great deal since then, and these days prefer a much more tightly curated fragrance wardrobe over a large collection as the former is about all I can handle. (No shade to anyone who prefers a collection that could fill the Guggenheim, of course β this is just how I prefer to do me.)
#Full Bottles (30 mL+):
I manage my magpie instincts by fixing my maximum number of full fragrance bottles at twelve. I only get a new bottle if: (1) thereβs an opening in my rotation; (2) I genuinely love the fragrance inside (like, to the point of obsession); and (3) I can actually imagine myself incorporating the fragrance in my everyday life, rather than just admire it as a piece of art that is beautiful but incongruous with my actual lifestyle.
Byredo - Bal d'Afrique (Hair Perfume): Bal dβAfrique is one of the most charming fragrances Iβve ever smelled, with velvety lemon, gentle florals, and bright, grassy vetiver. It makes me feel like the life of a sophisticated party, the kind where everyone speaks at least three languages. I switched to the hair perfume version after using up a full EdP, as the longevity is exactly the same for a fraction of the price.
Pierre Guillaume - Alpha Ora 30 (EdP): This oneβs very similar to Maison Francis Kurkdjian Baccarat Rouge 540, minus the bitter almond/saffron combo that translates (to my nose) as a trip to the dentistβs office, and plus some additional woods and moss. Thereβs a similar spun sugar/gossamer sweetness in the opening, but it dries quickly to something redolent of forest air. Very addicting, if a bit short-lived.
Pierre Guillaume - Sunsuality (EdP): Itβs the thick of summer, youβre at a beach resort, and the server has agreed to bring you Lemon Drop cocktails all day long. Life is good.
Olfactive Studio - Autoportrait (EdP): If youβre intrigued by Byredoβs G-psy Water but find that whole operation a littleβ¦ well, watery (read: fleeting), then Autoportrait may be a good upgrade for you. Nathalie

These creatures appeared in a world abandoned by us, which was created by u/Sparkmane.
A jungle can be a scary place, especially at night. Surrounded by giant trees, your line of sight is greatly reduced and you can hardly see if anything is sneaking up on you. Meanwhile, your hearing is getting assaulted by a cacophony of insects, birds, bats, and other things you might not want to think about. At any moment, you could step on a hidden, dangerous snake, spider, or centipede. Or you could put your foot into a puddle of slime mould that makes you start hallucinating a kaleidoscope of colours, some that human eyes werenβt designed to see.
These very real dangers conspire with the darkness and isolation, such that your imagination can start to conjure even more terrifying visions. Stress can do strange things to a mind, and for a lone, scared primate wandering in an unfamiliar and unforgiving environment, your imagination may be a worse enemy than any actual hazard.
Was that a snaggletoothed smile that you saw up in the trees, faintly glowing a sickly yellow-green? Or did you just step in some slime mould?
The works of Lewis Carroll didnβt physically make it into the future, but bits and pieces of his writings have survived in half-remembered retellings around campfires. Stories of a mysterious, grinning cat speaking to a lost little girl will be told to generations of children, even if the overall story of Alice in Wonderland is forgotten. The particular longevity of the Cheshire Cat as a cultural meme can be directly attributed to the Cheshire, a somewhat common inhabitant of the northern jungles that will be named for Carrollβs mad kitty.
No one has ever really seen a Cheshire, only their ghostly, nocturnal grins. The initial stories will say that they are harmless, because no one will report being harmed by one. Then again, if the Cheshire leaves no survivors, no one would be alive to report anything. After all, it is so very easy to get lost in the jungle at night. The campfire tales of the Cheshire will begin to take on a sinister similarity to the will oβ the wisp, a malicious spirit that lures its victims off of the beaten path, either for simple amusement at the bungling human, or to consume their blood or soul.
In truth, the Cheshire is pretty harmless and completely uninterested in humanity. It is the descendant of a pygmy possum, though about 30x larger, with a squat build like a big hedgehog. They can weigh in at around a kilogram, and much
