A list of puns related to "Lists of prehistoric animals"
I'm working on a list of all the species InGen ever cloned. I'd really appreciate some feedback and adjustments anyone could suggest. My sources are material the DPG has released and the Jurassic Park wiki. This list does not include the statues/taxiderms seen at the Lockwood Estate.

Thoughts?
Iβm a biologist and ex-Muslim and Iβve never actually asked a Muslim if they believe that extinct archaic humans, dinosaurs and more prehistoric things are real. Though the proof through DNA and fossils shows they were very much real, it seems like something that wouldnβt exist in our so called holy, all knowing book
We have already seen takes on mythical creatures but what are the odds we will see anthropomorphized versions of dinosaurs, pleistocene mammals, synapsids or any other such creatures? And if any of you are artists there's an interesting character design idea.
Across hundreds of millions of years, fauna of the world has changed a lot. A lot of animals used to be cooler, and they came with more extreme evolutionary qualities designed to sustain in a difficult climate and landscape. For example, we missed out on t-rexes, flying-lizard-pterodactyls and saber-toothed cats. Even the trees and plants used to be very interesting, larger leaves, completely different types of trunks. So one might say we live in a boring time now, where a lot of animals are just furry, calm versions of prehistoric equivalents. However...
Do any exciting and significant animals exist with us today? Is fauna objectively still interesting, even when compared to prehistoric eras?
I can think of a few. The blue whale is the largest animal that has ever lived. EVER. Billions of years! That is insanely significant even when compared to things 300 million years ago.
Also alligators and crocoriles still seem pretty extreme, even compared to something like a panther. Panthers and big cats are great predators, but they are still softer-looking than saber cats and such. But alligators still look like they are hundreds of millions of years old.
Cassowarys maybe?
I literally cannot go to google images of things like βriver otterβ or βsharkβ or even βgooseβ (embarrassing ikr) without having this eerie feeling and dread come over me.
The strongest example I have is when I visited a museum in Australia which had a faux- taxidermy of a giant short-nosed kangaroo (I think thatβs the name but I literally cannot google it to double check) Itβs just like a physical recreation of what they think it wouldβve looked like bc itβs extinct now. They tried to make it as realistic as possible.
Anyway, I was walking through the kidβs section of the museum- thinking I was finally free from the taxidermy all over the museum. And I see this HORRIBLE thing in the corner. I looked at it for a while before the feeling creeped over me and I had to turn away and walk to another part of the room. A friend had to comfort me and walk with me to the lobby bc I was so freaked out by it. I almost cried because of it LOL. Even typing this I am getting goosebumps.
Is this a common thing? Is there a word for this phobia?
P.S. I know the photos of prehistoric animals are just an artistic rendering of what it wouldβve looked like according to scientists (or other specialists) but it gives me the same feeling nonetheless
Regions such as Australia, Madagascar, North America, and Europe to name a few.
