A list of puns related to "List of songs from Sesame Street"
A simple question that has been plaguing me throughout my watching many hours watching Sesame Street with my daughter.
For some background there's an old song on Sesame Street called, "What's the name of that song?". In it the cast is trying to figure out the ear worm that has burrowed into the ears of all of Sesame Street. The only thing the cast remembers outside some odd details is the best which goes, "La de da de dum La de da de dum."
So I'm curious if the theorist team can find a song that matches that rhythm, the clues given, or is close enough to be the song that plagues the people and puppets of Sesame Street... in 1974 (and 2019 when they made a remake).

I'M JUST CHILLING IN MY LIVING ROOM I HEARD THE SONG AND IT REMINDED OF HEY THERE DELILAH
https://youtu.be/bhnWnWoVAk0
Premise of the skit is the kid says she was teased at school, how it was hurtful, and her friends then sing a song about being proud of her eyes. It's pretty sad Sesame Street has to address this because the racism is so prevalent in school now. Good for Sesame Street.
This is sung to the tune of a song Iβve heard before. Canβt think of it!
Hey friends! I need help! My nephew's favorite song is the Pears song from Sesame Street and I can't figure out the chords. Can anyone please, please help me?? He loves when I play guitar and I'd be most grateful if anyone could help me play it for him!!
They told me, "he doesn't count!" I replied, "I assure you, he does."
All right, this has been bugging me for a while. I distinctly remember a different version of the "I've got two" song that I can't find any evidence of, anywhere. I'm getting frustrated, and really don't want to chalk it up to faulty memory because I can hear it so well in my head, and that memory hasn't changed over the years.
For starters and some background, here's what the Muppet Wikia says about the song:
>It was originally performed by Susan and Bob during the first and second seasons of Sesame Street.
>
>When it was rerecorded for The Sesame Street Book & Record, it was started by Bob, who sang about his eyes, and he was then joined by Susan (who sang about her ears), Gordon (who sang about his arms), Mr. Hooper (who sang about his hands), Oscar the Grouch (who sang about his knees), and Big Bird (who sang about his feet).
Now that's all good. However, I sought it out after I remembered it from a childhood cassette tape I'm sure my parents compiled from records borrowed from the library. This would almost certainly put the latest date it could have been heard for the first time at... 1990/1991. And I'm pretty sure it was before then. So it's not the later version from Episode 2803 (which wasn't released on record anyway...).
So here's what I remember about this version that doesn't jibe with the version from The Sesame Street Book and Record, or anything else I can find:
-there was a female Muppet's (?) voice that I can't place. It was a higher/childlike voice that I'm going to assume belonged to an Everything Muppet. That voice sang the "two hands have I" verse instead of Mr. Hooper. Mr. Hooper was not featured in the version I recall. This is the clearest part of the song that I can't reconcile with any single version I've come across, this other voice that I don't recognize.
-Gordon's voice, if it was Gordon, was very deep. At one point in his refrain I remember hearing it as "two arms have I, up high", but that could be a mi
... keep reading on reddit β‘There was a song from sesame street back in the day that went something like "b-r-o-c-c-o-l-i broccoli broccoli, i like yams and potatoes and i must agree...". I've been searching for two hours and have gotten nothing but dead ends someone please help me find a clip of this song.
