Like the noble member of the Vol Navy and Dido. I will go down with this ship.

Sure, yesterday was extremely rough, and yes it is very embarrassing and should have never happened. These are teenagers after all, and coaches make mistakes (albeit a shit load of them).

This is an entirely new group of coordinators and a whole lot of new blood. The constant changes in schemes and staff will lead to confusion and delayed yield of results. Call me ignorant or overly optimistic, I really couldn’t give anymore shits about the negativity that seems to have clutched our fan base. But, I saw flashes on the field on Friday. I also saw players quitting or making stupid mistakes.

We are recruiting very well for the system that Pruitt wants to run, but the system won’t work without the correct parts, much like a car won’t work without oil and wheels. Sections of it may work, but it won’t truly operate like it should until the combination of all the pieces are there. JG looked bad, but that is why we hopefully have Harrison Bailey coming in. We need a sniffer back in there to help out our smaller fast and shifty speed backs. They can make people miss and the receivers can catch the ball if thrown near them.

The defense, that defense... it was hard to watch, but they were on the field in heat stroke type weather all day. We need ball hawks, and we have them, but they just didn’t show up. I have supreme faith in our linebacking core, but they need help from the line, which they aren’t getting.

Downvote me, call me stupid, call it blind love, but we aren’t out of it yet. We have a stellar staff that needs to start getting in the same page. JG needs to go through his progressions and take shots down field. We have a laundry list of things to work on, but the formula is there to win and I think it will flesh out.

Thank You: to whoever deemed this post worthy of an award, thank you! I would like to dedicate this accolade to the team, the coaches, and the true, positive fan base. Let’s keep being great together.
