A list of puns related to "List of serial killers in the United States"
Im just interested in what people may know. All of the prolific killers were active when i was too young to be interested.
He also volunteered at Seattle's Suicide Hotline Crisis Center.
These were both prior to his first arrest in 1975.
I sat down and did a little research on the subject as I have wondered the same myself. Let me know if there's any discrepancies or additions you know of.
Be warned: I am not the most keen at formatting.
Edmund Kemper was murdering co-ed's in the Santa Cruz area at the same time Herbert Mullin believed he was saving the city from earthquakes with his "sacrifices" during 1973.
Russell Maurice, "The Bedroom Strangler" who liked to watch his victims sleep before he went about murdering them, was active in London, Ontario during the same time period as Christian Magee from '74-'76.
The Hillside Stranglers became active by 1977, at the same time John Floyd Thomas Jr., a.k.a the Westside Rapist, was active in L.A. At some point, Rodney Alcala was also active alongside these two.
The Freeway Killer of the late 70's and early 80's in California was actually three separate, unaffiliated serial killers who all preyed on young boys and men. Patrick Kearney was captured in 1977, William Bonin in 1980, and Randy Kraft in 1983.
William Henry Hance and Carlton Gary preyed on women in / around the Columbus, Georgia area from '77 to '78.
Richard Cottingham and Paul Bateson were active at the same time as David Berkowitz in New York City from '77 to '78. Both continued on after Berkowitz' arrest. Rodney Alcala also happened to have murdered a woman in NYC during the Summer of Sam.
Prolific Colombian serial killers Pedro LΓ³pez and Daniel Camargo were active during the same period of time, ranging all the way from 1964 to the 1980's.
The Grim Sleeper, Lonnie Franklin Jr., was active in 1985 at the same time as Richard Ramirez in the Los Angeles area, although only for about a month. Louis Crane was also active at this time. By 1986, Michael Hughes and Chester Dewayne Turner started their rampage making the City of Angels the hunting grounds of four separate serial killers at the same time.
Joel Rifkin and Robert Shulman hunted prostitutes throughout Long Island, New York during the same period of time from 1991-1993 when Rifkin was arrested. Shulman went on until 96, when he too was arrested.
Russell Ellwood and Victor Gant are two separate suspected serial killers believed to have been behind series of prostitute murders in and around New Orleans, Louisiana during the 90's.
Sean Vincent Gillis and Derick Todd Lee simultaneously plagued Baton Rouge, Louisiana for a period of time around the mid 90's to the early 00's.

Samuel Little, 78, is a Wise County inmate and in 2014 was convicted for murder of 3 women. He has been interviewed about a range of cold cases and has been cooperative - he may be involved in 90+ murders since the 1970s.
Article extracts of interest:
βLittle was convicted in 2014 for the murdering three women in Los Angeles in the 1980s. According to an Associated Press article from the time, he lured his victims with dope and then beat and strangled them for his sexual pleasure. Then he dumped their half-naked bodies in the garbage.β
βLittle has cooperated and provided details for more than 90 murders going back to the 1970s, Wise County officials said. He's suspected of killing women in Texas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Tennessee, Mississippi, Louisiana, Illinois, Ohio, California, Indiana, Arizona, New Mexico and South Carolina. The FBI and the U.S. Department of Justice have also interviewed him.β
Apologies for the news source (I am not from the US but the Charley Project FB page shared this, so it is the only article I have seen about it so far) but this could be huge.
I am curious if any of these murders were previously thought to be linked, and how he managed to kill across so many states - a trucker perhaps? Do you think he was ever a suspect in these cases? 40+ years and 90+ kills is a huge βcareerβ and I am very interested to hear more once info comes out.
I'll edit this section as more people add their magazines in the comments section. Also, if you know any podcasts that read Fantasy/ Sci-Fi short stories on the regular, please mention them to.

I couldn't find a good one on google.
... not once, not twice, but four times! And he's cited by name! All from Death 2, the references are Ted Bundy, Jeffrey Dahmer, David Berkowitz (Son of Sam), and the Zodiac Killer. Not listed on the page is the Menendez Brothers, who aren't technically serial killers so it's understandable. Here's the link, the easiest way to find all 4 is F'5ing.
Also if anyone wants to use this as a platform to talk about serial killers, to which I've developed a morbid curiosity, feel free, I feel like this community is one of the few hip hop oriented ones that might find the topic interesting.
