A list of puns related to "List of people with dyslexia"
A very crude icon set just to prove it's possible. I hope they can implement something like this, to make the Hero playable by everybody.
And to play against him, of course.
tl;dr: Please fill out our survey and game if you are between 18-26! In question 5, please mention ADHD/Dyslexia/ASD/Anxiety/Depression etc, if you have anything like this. The game requires flash player and keyboard Thank you! <3

For my research project, my partner and I are doing a study on people aged between 18-26's experiences of emotions which includes a short survey and a flash game.
If you have any questions, I am happy to clarify, you can shoot me a PM or comment here.
Note: there is a question at the start asking about 'mental health problems' which is a bit poorly phrased. What we should have said was 'psychological conditions' so if you have ADHD, dyslexia, Autistic Spectrum Disorder, or another learning difficulty, please list it in that box as well as any mental health issues. What you write in the box might not end up being used as part of the data analysis, but will help us to understand the data a bit better when we look at it.
Also, GCSE is the exams at the end of 10th grade (age about 16) and A Level is the exams at the end of 12th grade (age about 18).
Finally, if you are a twitter user, please help us to spread our survey far and wide by retweeting: https://twitter.com/BlueRibbons19/status/973214895792689153
(I have submitted our ethical approval letter to the mods who have approved this survey to be shared on here)
Hello. Iβm curious what are some careers that would suit someone with dyslexia well.
AND...
My 13yo son is profoundly dyslexic and has a very difficult time studying the scriptures. I was wondering if anyone knew of some great resources (apps, videos, etc.) that maybe we're not aware of. He'd like to be more serious in his scripture study, but it's so difficult for him.
He does have a phone and can listen to the scriptures, but he also has receptive language and auditory processing disorders, so that's not really super helpful. He has normal intelligence, so he doesn't need things to be simplified, content-wise. He can learn all the same things a typical 13yo can - he just needs it presented visually. In school, all of his lessons are presented in live lecture format or supplemented with videos/graphics/etc.
Does anyone know of maybe a graphics-heavy workbook, a video series, or anything else that may be helpful? Or is there a more plain-language version of the Book of Mormon (like how there are other translations of the Bible)? Really looking for anything here. Thanks!
So, all the following have been impulse called by him so it is even funnier when it's happening live lol.
Here's the list so far (Will probably add more since it's been only 2 weeks since release lol) :
Will probably get more as he progress in the game lol
The title says it, but as someone who does not have dyslexia, I'm curious if they see the scrambled word and it just almost reads normal too them.
Mine is post-it notes and yellow paper. People will just give me things printed on yellow paper when they hear Iβm dyslexic, I donβt have problems with my reading. I mean itβs nice theyβve made the effort but itβs not helping. Also I donβt know if post-it notes is a thing that is a suggestion to managers at work place dyslexia awareness training or something. But when people know Iβm dyslexic in a planning session or meeting at work their go to thing is for me to use post-it notes. As apparently being dyslexic all tasks I do need some kind of visual element. So I have to write my notes or ideas on post-its then stick them to a wall in some kind of nice shape and talk my ideas through with the team that way. And that will somehow help me with planning. First off I canβt spell and I really donβt want my terrible writing, grammar and spelling to be exhibited for all to see on a wall. Secondly I find structure really helpful. My brain lacks it so I donβt want the extra task of trying to structure my own thoughts on a wall in a way others will understand. Iβd rather just try and fit in with the structure that everyone else is using even if I have to adapt it a bit or take a bit more time. This has happened multiple times at different companies. Itβs just awkward.
If you donβt know someone very well (situational friend) do you ever tell them you have dyslexia? Would you consider it oversharing, even if it was somewhat relevant?
He lays awake all night wondering if there really is a dog.
Edit: good*
Hey guys, this is my first time posting, just really want to share my experience with you all. I am pretty sure that I have dyslexia, even I am not clinically texted. All my life I always hated writing things down, I have such terrible hand writing as a kid. But me and my family never looked into it, my mom will always just tell me I need to work harder on it. Is like nobody take me seriously. But this dyslexia thing really bothers me. Spelling is my worst nightmare I can spell almost to nothing and I canβt write Chinese Characters very well (my first language), I read kind of slow includes signs and symbols, and I often see numbers in wrong order. Also, I trip on air when I walk, I read that is a symptom as well.
I can study and work fine with the help of dictionary apps. I studied illustration, which is great since I donβt have to write a lot of paper plus I always had super good visual memories. I just graduated college last week. But the fact I canβt spell really bothers me, I canβt write a whole sentence without looking up a word or use auto correct. A lot people just assume itβs because English is my second language, but I know itβs not the issue. I worked as an translator, I have listen and transcript rodeo events (super fast talking cowboys with southern accent) and then translated into Chinese captions. But I just canβt spell.
Today I was writing something on my laptop. I canβt spell the words as usual, so I had my dictionary app open. My friend walked pass me and saw the word βcrouptionβ, she asked me if I am trying to spell βcorruptionβ and offered to help me writing. I felt so embarrassed, and tell her I am fine. She insist to help me and that got me really upset.
I just really hate people seeing me typing. I canβt spell, I just canβt. I canβt sound a word out (like spelling βbon appΓ©titβ as βbone apple the teethβ) sometimes I donβt even know which letter a word start with. In school, at one of the art history class we had a quiz, which we had to write done names of artists and tittles of the work on paper. I canβt spell those old European names, even though I know all of them. The teacher said we donβt have to spell it correctly, but I donβt even know which letter it start with, I scored almost to nothing for that quiz. And I was so pissed, because I knew the answer.
All those littles thing in life constantly bothers me, I donβt know how to fix it nor where to get help. I feel like a joke around people, I donβt think they really under
