Long line at my local polling place in Southern California where four out of five people were not found on the list

I found it very suspicious that over 20 people of us in line with only four of them were able to vote properly. None of us were able to find our names on the list of each Precinct. I checked my voter registration status before going and it definitely showed my name and address were both there on Lavote.net. what is going on? they would only allow me to get a provisional ballot even though I demanded a democratic one they would not give me one. Sorry writing this on my phone so sorry for any errors

Reading about public capital punishment in England, I noticed most times people are recorded as only saying prayers and asking for God’s forgiveness before being executed. Are there examples of someone lashing out against their king or lord before being executed?

I was doing some reading about the Tower of London and people who were executed in public during the Middle Ages and so on. I noticed most records shows these people speaking highly of the King and saying prayers despite many being wrongfully convicted or being executed because of a direct dispute with the crown.

I understand that this was often done to protect their living family members from further persecution and harm. However, I am curious about noteworthy cases in which someone was about to be publicly executed and used their last words to defend themselves or accuse the King/Lord of wrongly conviction them.

EDIT: It doesn't have to be in England, that was just what aroused my interest.
