Some argue that Manitowoc’s insurance would have paid out a large settlement had the depositions commenced. I argue that is false and Manitowoc would have been on the hook for at minimum a few million. That being said, public / government entities cherish their “bond rating”. Yes, municipalities receive bond ratings from entities such as Moody’s. The lower the “bond rating” the higher interest they pay on loans (just like a consumer).
It is fact that had Manitowoc had to pay directly to Avery their bond rating would have plummeted. The County’s constituents would not be happy with them.
Due to a wrongful conviction case and settlement reached, watch for Milwaukee’s bond rating to plummet in the coming months.

I'll start by saying that I am not 100% sure that Jon Gruden will coach at Tennessee.
I hope he does, and I think we have a legitimate chance this time around. If he says no, I will feel played and stupid for believing, but I will fess up and own dreaming above my station in life.
What I do want - and I am hoping r/ockytop can help - is a list of media members who have been pompous asses about the idea of Gruden to UT. Like it's the most fucking ridiculous thing in the world that JG would EVER want to bother with peasants like us. If the impossible dream comes true, I want to be ready to shove it in the face of every asshole to talked down to us and savor the sweet, sweet justice.
Let's be clear - I'm not talking about the guys who say they'll believe it when they see it, or even guys who are doubtful and hedge their bets. I'm talking about people who legit make fun of Vol fans for Grumors, and are ready to laugh at us if it doesn't happen.
I just want to be ready to respond in kind if it does. It's never too early to plan to be petty and vindictive.
