A list of puns related to "List of education ministries"
Our stituation does not allow my kids to be logged in to their online meetings during the school day. In past shutdowns we have skipped the online meetings, completed all posted assignments, read everyday, completed extra work and kept in touch with our teachers. This was acceptable and my kids have thrived. Zero concerns academically, no learning gaps and shining report cards.
This is no longer acceptable as per the ministry of education. I am forced to sign documents saying my kids are taking a temporary leave of absence. My kids are not taking a temporary leave of absence. The government closed the school. They will complete all assignments and stay in contact with their teachers they just wont be logging in online. But that alternative is no longer acceptable.
What are we supposed to do??
Update: I have talked to the principal and its all been cleared up. Thanks everyone for your replies. The board is using an old outdated form with wording that doesn't apply to this situation. Probably because it was all sprung on them with no notice.
I got my hands on the latest ministry of education updates sent out to childcare licensees and I will post each page in the comments below. If anyone can think of a better way for me to release it let me know.
Thereโs atleast 3 people in my class whoโve had/still have covid. Itโs within their best interests to shut down schools
Update: half the class has covid, I wouldโve gotten it aswell if I wasnโt absent
10 books were selected, the hardest translation turned out to be translation into Albanian of a popular book by a prominent Armenian author Nikol Pashinyan, costing 1.695 million drams.
Been hearing about some major issues with schools scrambling to figure out how to handle some bus cuts that have been happening. Specifically the rural Waikato area.
The school my kids go to were told by Go Bus that they won't provide a bus to them anymore but instead give them a van. Because of this some families have then been told by the Ministry that they aren't covered anymore by the bus route. They say it's because despite being in the school zone they are closer to another school even though that school doesn't have a bus to cover them.
One major issue this is causing for our school is that there may be enough of a reduction of students that they may need to get rid of some teachers.
All this is happening even though Go Bus got a new contract with the Mistry for $1.45 billion that supposedly double their converge and adds an additional 379 busses this month.

Anyone else running it this issue with the upcoming school year?
There was a list that has been released by the Ministry of Education of the institutes/universities/colleges that are accredited. I've found many popular universities and their degrees not to be accredited. (Eg: Middlesex, Murdoch, etc)
What happens to those graduates? Does it matter if their university was accredited or not? Would finding jobs and work licenses be difficult?
Long story short, if you're reading this and thinking about becoming a teacher at with the Ministry of Education and now the Emirates School Establishment do yourself a favor and prepare yourself for one of the most tiresome, disrespectful, and time wasting experiences you can imagine.
I was a part of their Teacher Training Program where they interviewed students who recently graduated and are aspiring to become teachers. My program ended right around the time corona started. After completing the program, they told us to wait and ensured us that we would begin working as soon as things opened up.
To summarize, after a year the MOE switched to something called the ESE. They asked for new documents and said that after these were submitted we could begin working. One of those documents is the equivalency. Graduating from one of the top universities in America, I would think that the process should not take 5 months. The MOE also handles the equivalency process. Keep in mind, my bachelor degree is already attested. However, they want me to provide my high school diploma attested, transcripts, and go ahead and throw in a kidney while I'm at it.
After nearly 2 years, the ESE/MOE sends out a message to me and all the remaining poor suckers who did not already have their transcripts and high school diploma already attested to simply say, "The criteria for hiring has now changed and you are no longer meet the requirements". They did not specify what has changed. After weeks of emailing, because lord knows you'll never get a chance to speak with anyone who knows anything on the phone, they finally say that you now need teaching experience. Then what the hell was the point of entering the TTP program in the first place?
Like what? After I've already spent thousands of dollars getting a useless attestation of my high school diploma and transcripts from THREE different universities, just to be told F you have a nice day?
I tried to make a 2 year story as short as possible. And to top it all off, I am STILL waiting on the equivalency department to give the approval. Literally, every time you submit something they ask for, it will go on weeks before you hear a response, just for them to ask for another document and repeat. No exaggeration, you can call three times in one day and you will get three different responses. I feel like most of the employees don't care because they get paid based off of who they are and not how well of a job they do. They have been askin

They confirmed the 17th will be the day today. Yet I have seen responses from three different primary schools to parents today saying they are "awaiting details from the ministry" before advising parents what the return will look like. So what the heck has the Ministry of Education and the Minister been up to for the last two weeks if not sorting those details out to have ready for the schools when the announcement is made? Baffling!
The GOI cabinet has many efficient ministers running some of the most important portfolio, but we haven't seen any exceptional work when it comes to education.
Recently the news for introducing liberal art courses in IIT and IIM. And the latest arrival of quota among professors is quite worrisome.
