A list of puns related to "List of cinemas in Hong Kong"

On what would have been his 80th birthday, Emperor Cinema has deliberately choosen to show a Mainland Putonghua overdub version of this classic film, forgoing the original Hong Kong Cantonese/English version.
To do this in Bruce Lee's hometown, where the film as produced and shot as a Hong Kong-US collaboration is a deliberate, calculated insult. There is no reason to do this other than to send the political message that Bruce Lee, a Hong Kong icon, now "belongs" to China.
Erasing and sinocizing Hong Kong's history and culture. Step by step. Little by little.

Hong Kong and Japanese media enjoyed world wide acclaim and popularity in the late 20th century to early 2000's. Hong Kong movies are famous for its cop and kung fu movies, while Japanese cinema as a whole and jpop found both international audience and critical acclaim. Except for Japan's still thriving anime industry, the fame and market for the latter two media seemed to have declined. Whereas, South Korea is stomping the world stage with its kpop, kdrama and multitudes of critically-acclaimed and popular movies such as Parasite, Old Boy, Train to Busan etc.
Why is South Korean media taking the world by storm while Hong Kong and Japanese media petered out?
Iβm looking to get into Hong Kong cinema and need some suggestions on which 88 film/Eureka releases I should buy. Anything you guys can throw my way is appreciated!
