Active and UNactive radios are able to listen for free. I really haven't seen this advertised but I think it's great. especially since most every new car has one installed now and it could be comforting to get in your car to hear reports during a power outage.

Hi, gang. Sorry if this has been addressed before but I'm new to the subreddit. Since Sirius has decided to move Faction to 314, and Faction was my favorite non-Yacht Rock station to listen to in the car, I called to cancel my service only to get talked into the full radio and streaming package for $125/year. But that got me to thinking, is there like an aftermarket radio that will get the 300-level channels that I can transfer service to so I can keep listening to Faction without using all my data via my phone?

Honestly, Modest Mouse should have an XM/Sirius channel. They have so many songs, and it would be an awesome way to get exposed to their stuff. I would listen to that 100x more than a Pearl Jam, Jimmy Buffett or Tom Petty Channel.
If you have SiriusXM they have Coachella Radio on Channel 18. Live sets all weekend and rebroadcasts from Weekend 1. It helps to get over the FOAM from the lack of Youtube live stream on this weekend.
Whenever I'm in my mom's car I want to listen but she doesn't have aux and I want to listen to GVF. But she does have Sirius XM so, does anyone know if any of the XM channels like for surely plays GVF?

This morning I thought I would test to see if the Christmas channel was up and running yet, and it was! Best drive into work all year. If any of you have satellite radio, it is on channel 17. And starting December 5th, the station that plays more traditional (17 is more contemporary) music starts up! Yah!!
I have a 2016 Forester Premium. My Sirius XM works, but will only let me channel up/down and through preselected. The “list” only have all as a category and that category only shows the preview channel. Anyone else have this problem or know a solution? I’ve resent my signal, that doesn’t do it.
I just picked up my TRD Off Road Premium yesterday. Is it normal that the preset channels don't display the channel name? With 36 presets available, it kinda defeats the purpose if you have to remember the channel numbers. The presets in my GMC Canyon would show the channel number and the channel name.
For example... preset number X corresponds to SXM channel 57 but what channel is that? (I actually know this one but a lot of the others i'd never remember)
The workaround for me is Voice commands... Tune to "The Highway", or tune to "Classic Rewind".
