A list of puns related to "List of Jewish actors"
I looked through the entire List of Jewish actors on Wikipedia and still can't find the name of the adorable funny chubby guy that I probably know from a 90s sitcom, but has also appeared in movies, usually portraying the tv trope character that everyone always makes fun of. Extra kudos if you also know the name of the tv trope I just mentioned.
No, it's not Jason Alexander (too small) or Wayne Knight (too big), but they come close.
Some additional information: In the show I know him from he is an office colleague, wearing a suit and tie. He portrays a character that's pretty dumb and misses the point in a funny way. His facial expressions really help sell this role.
Fleeing the Nazis, Lionel Royce returned to Austria in 1936, where to hide his heritage, he created the persona of Kaspar Brandhofer, a Tyrolian peasant, and became a sensation as a natural actor on the stage in Vienna.

The New York Times put out their picks for the 25 greatest actors of the past 20 years, and some of the choices are strange and arguably poor selections. Melissa McCarthy at #22 is the biggest outlier, and Keanu Reeves at #4 is sure to ruffle a lot of feathers, as might Denzel Washington at #1. There are plenty of other strange choices as well and a ton of huge snubs.
Here is the NY Times article for anyone who hasn't seen it. I put together my full thoughts in video form but that is obviously not required viewing to discuss.
I tried searching a few different ways on Google but found nothing... I was watching a CBT stream of the game and Paimon sounds a lot like Mizuki from AI: The Somnium Files to me, and I was wanting to try and find out if it's the same voice actor
Since it's the holiday season, I thought it would be fun to talk about some of the actors that you might not have known were Jewish. Ginnifer Goodwin, one of the Jewish actors on the show, talked about how she likes to think Snow and David celebrate both Hanukkah and Jewish, so it might be fun to imagine what sorts of holiday traditions these characters would get up to.
As I mentioned already, Ginnifer Goodwin, who plays Snow White, is Jewish. So are the people who play her parents. Richard Schiff and Eric Lange, both of whom played her father, King Leopold, are Jewish. Rena Sofer, who plays Queen Eva, is also Jewish.
But it isn't just Snow and her family who are played by Jewish actors. Megan Ory, the actress who plays Ruby, is also Jewish. So some of the dwarves, like Lee Arenberg, who plays Grumpy. For me, it's fun to imagine how Snow's resistance would have celebrated together, and what differences there'd be between our version of Hanukkah and a version they might have in the Enchanted Forest.
These are just some of the ones I can easily find on https://ethnicelebs.com/. I'm pretty sure some more of the dwarves are Jewish, like Jeffery Kaiser who plays Dopey. My friend has said he is. But these are the ones I can find easy evidence for.
So, what do you guys think? Is it fun to imagine the characters celebrating a mixture of Hanukkah and Christmas? Was there anyone in here that you didn't know was Jewish? Would love to hear your thoughts.
I hadn't seen this one in a few years and decided to watch it again last night. And boy, 11 years later, that cast list has turned out to be something out of this world. The rate at which huge names show up is comparable to an Avengers movie.
The best part is that almost every single one the big names in this movie has the chops to play very serious roles, but at Shawn Levy's direction, the whole film is incredibly over the top. I had so much fun watching it last night that I figured I'd highlight some of the roles I liked the most. I'll also list out the others so you can take a glance at how seriously impressive the cast is.
For example, Larry David played both Frank Costanza's lawyer and the newsstand guy ("Beg your pardon your majesty but we don't accept bills with lipstick on the president.") That's one.
You don't need to know the name of the actor, just the two separate characters they play.
This list will be of the all of the characters that have some relevance for the plot so like I won't include characters like Incubus and the other gods of luck etc.
