A list of puns related to "List of Italian DOCG wines"
I recently purchased a bottle of what was listed as Vincentini Agostino Soave Superiore D.O.C.G IL CASALE. Which received 3 bicchieri recently. However, the bottle i received has a completely different label from the ones I am seeing online. The shop claims that it is the correct wine.

The bottle I received doesn't list Vincentini Agostino or IL CASALE on it.
The art on my bottle DOES look in a similar style to some of Vincentini Agostino other wine bottles, although there was no match.
I'd like to find out if this is some alternative labeling that is nowhere to be found on the internet or vivino (unlikely).
or
What it actually is.
And finally if the the company is selling this erroneously either on purpose or not.
While the bottle doesn't seem to have a producer listed on the bottle it does have a DOCG label around the neck of the bottle, and it says, "Imbottigliato da ICQRF VR/3690 IT" on the back.
Is it possible to look up these identifiers anywhere or find a way to figure out who actually bottled this wine / what it is? Is there a way to contact these governing bodies in the EU/Italy to check?
So far I've tried reverse img searching for the label on google, in some wine apps which all turn up nothing, as well as trying to googling how to look up those identifiers with no luck.
Thanks for any info, sugesstions, or advice in advance!
If you want to find new contacts in Fallen London you have come to the right place. Whether you need someone to get the constables off your back, someone to help in an investigation or just a friend to have dinner with, you're sure to find them here. If you're looking for something specific, you could just browse the information of people who have already posted and make them a contact and/or you could simply make a post of your own.

Additional information, like stats or a brief statement, if you're a PoSI, etc. would be welcome, if you like. Timezone + hours played could be helpful for those looking for someone active during the same time they are.
This post will be restarted every month, just to prevent any sort of inactive player build-up. I've also set the suggested sort to "new," which I think should make it so that the newest posts go to the top, so that should improve your chances of connecting with someone who is actively playing.
If you have any ideas about how this might be improved, please let me know.
Hey /r/wine Iβm going to an Italian restaurant this weekend and was looking for some hidden gem red recommendations. I typically order a Barolo or a Barbera dβalba/asti here but I want to try something new. They have some southern Italian wines that I know nothing about so if anyone spots a dark horse $50-$100 that would be awesome! Below is the list. Thanks!

Edit: thanks everyone ended up going with a Etna Rosso that wasnβt on the list. Super delicious and fun wine.
I am looking to compile a list of old-school Italian restaurants in Philly. Things that don't make the lists. White table cloth, kind of dated. Often the restaurant name is the last name. I want to leave the lists and try these old-school places.
Think Scannicchio's or Ristorante Pesto, not Le Virtu (which I love).
The List
Doesn't quite fit the bill, but maybe.
Got a new job recently as a fine wine sales rep but Iβm not super familiar with the wine lists around town. Going to dinner tomorrow night to celebrate and would like to have a good bottle with dinner. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Cheers!
Edit: We decided on Nesso because my dad has Cunningham gift cards and offered to let me use them. Canβt pass up the opportunity to take $50 off the meal! Haha
Thanks for the recommendations. Hopefully I can try out all these places over the coming months. They all sound delicious!
Edit 2: So apparently Nesso is closed tomorrow so we decided on Capri since itβs the only place we could make a reservation for tomorrow evening.
Thanks again for everyone who commented with suggestions, I really appreciate it.
In addition, I found that the Pakistani rucks were white canvas which would stick out like a sore thumb, and hot countries in North Africa still wear wool for some reason.
Iβm a big fan of many Italian wines. Wide range of amazing whites and reds (though we can agree that cheap Pinot Grigio gives Italian wines a bad name). Iβm relatively new to the wine world so Iβm hoping to ask all of you a thought Iβve had lately.
What I wonder though is whether French winemakers have done a better job of being export-focused and building brands, which makes them very popular but not necessarily better than the wine that is made (and consumed) in Italy.
