A list of puns related to "List of Indian Christians"
Chick-Fil-A: Donates money towards Anti-LGBTQ organizations.
Alternatives for chicken & chicken sandwiches: Church's Chicken, Royal Farms, Popeyes, Wendy's, Raising Canes, Zaxby's, PDQ, your local chicken restaurant, pub or diner, etc.
Hobby Lobby: They're anti-abortion. They deny their employees access to affordable birth control & have also opted out of a federal requirement to pay for contraceptives in health coverage for their workers.
Alternatives: Michael's, JoAnn, your local arts & crafts stores.
The Salvation Army: Also Anti-LGBTQ while also having queerphobic & transphobic views. They've also profit from slave labor & have been involved in sex abuse scandals involving kids.
Alternatives: Local thrift stores associated with charity organizations.
That's all that I can find as of right now. Please post if I'm missing anything & I'll be glad to add them to my OP.
Iโm from Kerala, I was in Chennai for a cousinโs wedding, I happened to visit Marina Beach, there was this dude, who with a microphone was screaming that his Lord (Jesus ) is the true Lord, and idol worshippers are sinners, will suffer and what not.
When I was at school (Xian school), we non Abrahmics used to attend โmoral educationโ when Xians and Muslims had their respective faiths being taught, so a guy named โX Narayananโ converted to Xianity and our moral education professor Ian Taylor was like โthatโs great news, hope more followโ. We were in fifth grade, the mental impact that line would have had on kids in that class, Iโm sure many would be able to guess !
When I was in a train with my aunt, a lady came up to us and initiated a discussion, eventually she handed out a pamphlet asking us to believe in Christ, my aunt and I were traveling for a medical emergency and I canโt imagine the trauma my aunt would have gone through when the lady said all our sufferings were because we werenโt towing in line with Christ.
My ex Girlfriend who was a Xian, asked me to accept Christ, when I had no problem with her following her faith, even used to visit churches with her. I was just hoping that she would allow me to do what I want to do, I was honestly an atheist back in the day. I tried explaining that love is about respecting each otherโs beliefs a concept she simply couldnโt comprehend.
Some of my friends who are Xians, have utter disrespect for my faith, they donโt even see us as humans, I remember getting โSon of Godโ blue ray back in the day to watch with some Xian friends, they ended all teary eyed by the end of it, understandably, just when I was trying to comfort one of them, I was told โHe died for people like you and look at you believing in some idolsโ.
My arm chair study and some discussions I got to have with people I realized that Sunday schools run by churches basically impart that โthere is only One Godโ anybody who doesnโt tow in line with that thought are evil/sinners. Theyโre destined to go to hell. Such indoctrinations at young age is probably why such hate is going aroun.
Have others here gone through similar experiences or am I at the wrong place with the wrong people and probably at the wrong time.
I have huge respect for Christians, my mom and I studied in a Xian school, we visit Xian churches, St Antony Kochi on Tuesday, quite famous locally yet people like us get dehumanized at almost every juncture.
What do Christians f
... keep reading on reddit โกMy apologetics class is under the impression that Christianity as a religion has been incredibly beneficial throughout history, and claims that the atrocities committed under the name of Jesus:
Can be justified because they thought that what they were doing was right.
Are only a couple of isolated events throughout history.
I would appreciate the help of the good people here to list down as many wrongdoings committed by Christianity. I intend to use these events to destroy any argument that states that Christianity has been good for the world.
Thanks in advance.
I'll go first:
Does anyone have a list of the 2nd Temple Jewish Sects and their beliefs?
The same for the Early Christian sects and their interpretations (including the Gnostics) and their beliefs?
Example: what did the โPhariseesโ think about (X,Y,Z)
Itโs a call to action, yall!
โข Below is my outline of a letter I intend to send to anyone with a platform who might share this message.
โข I am trying to find the best way to keep this concise, yet full of the most important points. Right now I feel itโs too long, even without all the additional info at the bottom. There is just SO much horrible shit this woman does, itโs impossible to fit it all in a short letter. Please let me know if you have any critiques, ideas, or suggestions to contribute.
โข Something that would be really helpful would be to try creating some type of evidence/receipts guide for these talking points. Iโm sure I could do that another night just by sifting through this sub.
โข Goal: I plan to start with an attempt to appeal to Steph McNeal, who is a buzzfeed writer with an interest in influencer stories. If you know of any other journalists and/or contacts for news outlets or even large Instagram accounts that make social commentary, please let me know. Iโd like for anyone with a platform and a voice to speak out on this. Especially if they have a young crowd, as that seems to be her new prey demographic (tiktok?).
Feel free to also use this outline should you wish to do similar outreach. Iโm so fucking fed up with this grifter spewing hateful, harmful, judgmental shit and coming out clean despite living in the mud.
Here it is:
Background info: confusingly fast pivot from disgraced fitness influencer to Christian influencer. Most extreme pivot occurred with introduction of new boyfriend (more below๐ฉ).
Virgin ears: She has a new platform of naive followers who do not know her past, specifically on TikTok. She focuses her content on black and white (extremes only) purity culture and gears it toward young women, despite being a divorced 30 y/o who couldnโt care less about her own advice. (Ex: posting a story condemning sex dreams then posting multiple videos of herself screaming about being horny, the hidden live-in JDong while pretending he didnโt live there, posting that they didnโt travel together before marriage when they clearly did)
Fear based content: Her Christian content does not focus on positive messages, rather feeds off fear through conspiracy theories and an obsession with demons and Satan. She posts numerous videos warning people that normal lifestyle choices or activities (in which she still partakes) invite demons and harm your relationship with God/Jesus. (Ex: se
Beef - Don't get your panties in a twist. Beef also refers to Ox and Buffalo. Kerala predominantly prefers Buffalo meat. Beef also eaten in North-East India and Goa. TBH because of cross-breeding, a lot of the cows have European bloodlines. So not sure if there should be a taboo
Pig - Not eaten by Muslim invaders
Dog - Eaten in Nagaland. I honestly don't care. No different to eating cow
Ants - Eaten by tribes/people living close to forest. Generally a chutney is made out of it. Ant Eggs are also eaten
Shark - Eaten by many coastal communities
Frogs - Frog legs - great delicacy - eaten in Goa and Sikkim
Silkworm pupae - Assam. Eaten as Eri Pulu dish
Rat - Eaten by the Musahar SC community in Bihar
Marapatti/palm civet - Back in the day in Kerala
Python - I saw this in Angamaly Diaries

Hi All,
As per the rumors, we may not be allowed to use foreign exchanges or hold assets in private wallets. I know this is not confirmed & I don't know how the government will ban private wallets. Please leave that topic aside. We know for sure that the government is planning to regulate it. We will be allowed to hold our assets in Indian exchanges. So I am trying to find all Indian exchanges that can be legal to use & explore coins in them so I can move my coins from foreign exchanges post the bill. Please see the below list & add if I have missed anything
I see below exchanges have a separate official Twitter account but I am not sure if it's registered in India. can someone please confirm if we can use the below three exchanges post the bill?
Hello Guys! I am from India... Last Year I met a Mexican girl online via game.. we were friends and slowly we started talking and developed feelings for eachother. One fine day, she tells me she feels like moving to India. But she is scared, as she had heard people here (India) are very orthodox and her life can be in danger. I told her there are some parts of the society which are totally against it! It will be hard but not impossible! I last talked to her was in month of May/June this year.. we had broke up way before that. I asked her why didn't we work out.. she told me the only thing that bothers her was my religion and that there seemed no future. Fast forward now, I finally got courage to talk about this with my mom( My Mom is orthodox, image and reputation in society that's what matters to her) She saw me struggling at work at life after my break-up, my sister told me that my mom knew about it, she even saw my phone, but when I asked her did she know about it she went into denial. I told her that this girl is very important for me.. but she is Christian, not only did she say she won't accept but also suggested that the girl shouldn't be a Muslim, lower caste etc. I loved this girl because she was pretty, she loved me, and she motivated me and helped me do things out of my comfort zone. I could really see myself growing for good. We had our issues, she was very popular and got lot of attention, plus she was almost on the other side of the world. She ghosted me for a bit, then I find out she was talking to someone else. She wasn't perfect or she might be wrong but what she said was a valid reason to break-up.. I feel so lost! I wished there was some common ground I could have both my Ex and my family.. but it seems impossible. Was I wrong to persue this person?

Does anyone know of a good list of Christian universalists? Iโve done some googling and not found much. The Wikipedia page for CU is pretty in need of an update.
Edit: I should clarify. Iโve read a TON of universalists but Iโm always discovering more.
Iโve read: Origen, Gregory, other church fathers and mothers, George MacDonald, DBH, Jersak, Thomas Talbott, Ramelli, Robin Parry and more. Recently Iโve discovered David Artmanโs podcast which tuned me in to more Iโve missed (George Sarris). I think I know most of the big names; I was just wondering if anyone has a really deep dive list.
Thank you all for your comments.
