I first heard of the Black Hebrew Israelites with the Covington fiasco. They seemed awful, but they weren't killing people. What changed and why are they targeting Jewish people?
I find it kind of funny how black culture defends the right to wear dreadlocks as a hairstyle with all they can - but won’t hesitate to Claim Jewish culture and religion to be their original heritage.

Hey, this is my first time posting here, I've lurked here for awhile, but never really subbed. I kinda just need to vent, so I'm hoping you guys take the time to listen.
Anyway, BHI. The core belief of these people is that the ancient egyptians were black, everyone in history was black, and that all white people are the devil. Watch a couple of their videos on YouTube and just listen to filth that they spew. They are so fucking moronic and hateful.
My family is apart of this cult, and it really, really depresses me seeing them so filled with hate and anger towards other races. They're not willing to fucking listen to reason and facts, the shit they say is just so... fucking abysmal. It's misogynistic, it's racist, and it's homophobic.
My dad was the first one to find out about these idiots. He was diagnosed with diabetes type two (I think it was one. Don't remember anymore) when I was in middle school, and after that, he "woke up", as he would always say. After that, he would try so hard to find the "evil" in things that I enjoyed, such as my music, and tv shows and games like DragonBall Z, Silent Hill and Resident Evil. Seriously, he would call anything that wasn't of god "evil and of the devil". He'd call me stupid everyday for not "waking up", and that the "Most High is going to chop your head when he comes back", and he'd call me an "Uncle Tom" for listening to "white people music". He pretty much bullied everyone into believing the shit he believes, and they actually do.
That was back before, and he mellowed the fuck out, but he, and the rest of my family are still some of the most baffling idiots I've had the displeasure of knowing. They can't give any decent arguments without using the bible. They can't properly function without that stupid fucking book that they call "their history book", and it just really makes me so miserable seeing them like this, and I honestly kind of hate them too. It's just... very tragic to me.
