What are the chances of an African American kid getting a bid at a Fraternity in UT Austin?
I'm a black guy born in the south(Texas) but went to a private prep school up north so I've spent most of my time in the Northeast. I recently got excepted to UT which is amazing since its the school I've always wanted to go to since i was a kid. Most of my friends here rave about going to the ivies, to them its ivy league schools or pretty much nothing. I understand that there is a little bit of racism and social clash especially in southern fraternities where being Black "is considered NF". What are the chances of me getting a bid at a top tier fraternity in UT? I believe my first impression would definitely dis-spell the preconceived notion and i'll be able to prove that I'm an upstanding individual.

Hi. I'm currently working on a project regarding racial bias in NLP applications. I noticed that most of the work in this area is concerned with gender bias, but there's not a lot of work w.r.t. racial bias.
Most work also use predefined lists of professions or names that are stereotypically associated with males or females. I've been looking for a resource that does the same for Caucasian or African American names, but am having trouble finding any.
Does anybody know if there exists such thing? Thanks.
