This title is just a joke! But who here keeps thinking about the prophets every time the news mentions this omicron variant? (please let’s not get political here and just keep it to Star Trek nostalgia)
Seeing how the Omicron token exploded 900% 📈 once the new variant was called Omicron, makes me wonder what will happen to Pi once the next variant comes and it will be called Pi. That's the next letter after Omicron in the Greek Alphabet. Can we get Devs to launch it before that? 😂

A Freeport, obviously.
Leon Base
Probably named for León, capital of the Spanish province of León.
Planetary Fragments Field
An obvious descriptive name.
Omega-41 has only one geographic place name. I guess that gives it 100% consistency?

The home system of the Corsairs.
Planet Crete
Named after the island of Crete, part of Greece.
Planet Cella Dor
I got nothing here, folks. There’s a heavy metal band named Cellador, but I doubt that’s the origin, as they were founded after Freelancer came out.
Kahlmera
Kahlmera means “good morning” in Greek.
Tripoli Shipyard
Most likely named after Tripoli, the capital of Libya. Tripoli was once one of the Barbary States, which is also where the term “Corsair” comes from. There are also cities named Tripoli in Greece and Lebanon. The former is the capital of the Arcadia region, and the latter is the second largest city in Lebanon.
Gredos Cloud
Named after the Sierra de Gredos, a mountain range in central Spain.
Malvada Cloud
"Malvada" translates as “evil” in Spanish. Given that the cloud is radioactive and leads to a Nomad system, it fits.
Tenereife Asteroid Field
Named after Tenerife, the largest of the Canary Islands.
Omicron Gamma has two separate geographical themes: the Eastern Mediterranean (especially Greece) and Spain. Then there’s Cella Dor. No idea what’s up with that.
#Omicron Major
There are no named locations here (it’s the Nomad home system).
#Omicron Minor
This is the Order home base, in case you forgot.
Planet Toledo
Named after Toledo, capital of Toledo Province and one of Spain’s most important cultural centers.
As with Omega-41, there’s only one named location. Interestingly, it follows the same naming theme (Spain) as Omega-41 and some of Omicron Gamma.

It genuinely doesn’t make sense to me that events in places like NYC are being cancelled where you need to be vaccinated to go. Isn’t the whole entire point of getting vaccinated to be able to live a little bit more normally after 2 years of being safe?
The Strokes concert on New Year’s Eve was just cancelled and I’m being honest when I say it was the only thing I was looking forward to in months. Why do I have to be punished when I did everything I was supposed to? It’s getting upsetting and feeling like it doesn’t even matter what I do anymore
Edit: I am sorry that this post is tone deaf. I am grateful I am healthy and boosted and that I haven’t gotten Covid. The comments about not spreading it make sense and I do understand the reason for these cancellations. I am just sad about the life I could’ve had without Covid and I feel like it’s valid to be upset and sad about what we are missing out on! It was more of a rant post than a genuine question

Did the daily beer and got a good drop greek letters. Well I went to place all of them to show you guys had to delete a wall to remove one and PI only places facing one direction so couldn't show it off.

Omicron floats about a foot off anything you try to place it on, and about six inches to the right.
