It's so bad. And they're getting so much more creative. Not asking for the obvious seedphrase anymore, but they'll target you after you post a comment on a crypto related YouTube channel. Or they'll make a completely identical user interface of popular wallets, dApps, and dexes. I think some are even MAKING instructional videos of how to bridge your metamask to certain projects and placing phishing links in the video description. There are even videos on how to make front running bots on pancake swap that are actually just code to drain your wallets. It's insane and ridiculous.
So we get amazing bull runs and then a bunch of new people get in on the action. They start learning because that's what they're told to do...DYOR. Then they're targeted by these scammers and they get their hearts broken and break up with crypto. They tell their friends and they break you with crypto too. And so the market takes a hit and we go down and down and down and we're back to bear and it all starts over again.

Make it an option to show your entire username in this sub or create your own r/cc username that is different than what you use in other subs.

If possible, reported scammers IP address is banned from reddit.
This is a simple fix for YouTube:
YouTube should make it mandatory for crypto content creators to warn their audience of scammers in the video descriptions. Maybe something like "Make sure you trust the content creator before you click any links, most scammers won't show their faces, etc."
GooglePlay and Appstore:
Make it mandatory for crypro wallet and app creators to put up a certain amount of money to pay for user losses because of theft. This way scammers cannot profit.
Most importantly, this is what crypto investors can do to protect themselves and to stop allowing scammers to profit. Hold the crypto industry accountable!
