A list of puns related to "Linda Park (comics)"
My friend, a huge comic fan, got me into this show. She sometimes complains about inaccuracies, though.
One thing she mentioned, which has been bugging me, is that in the comics "Linda is the other Flash".
Does this mean that in the comics, Linda is the Reverse Flash instead of Dr. Wells? Is it another impersonation thing? I just don't see how someone as nice as Linda could be the Reverse Flash.
I caught this after watching the episode last night, and I donβt know if it was just a goof/mess up with the writing that was never caught, or if it was intentional?
Hi all,
I just moved to linwood park/casa linda forrest and was looking for things to do in my area. This choice was primarily driven by my partners needs. We moved from living in uptown which I liked for the walkability, restaurants, and outdoor spaces(klyde warren/katy trail).
I'm looking for things to do/try that will help me enjoy this area a little more. I'm aware of the arboretum and white rock lake which is nearby. Fwiw, the hobbies I can do/like in dallas including running, reading in parks, tennis, and trying new restaurants/coffee shops. I'm also willing to try new things.
Also looking for a good gym too if you can recommend any.
Thanks in advance!
In a hypothetical reality, where Jai and Irey would exist either way, who should Wally be with? What do you think>
I was wondering if anyone here teaches A Long Walk to Water. Itβs in our 8th grade curriculum. I love the story of Salva Dut in itself, but for some reason I struggle to teach this novel and to come up with a specific angle from which to teach it. I guess Iβm just not particularly engaged with the novel itself. Iβm curious what standards those who teach it choose to focus on? Any engaging activities or other texts you pair with it? Any ideas you can provide would be helpful!
His name is Beau and he's new to us. We live near the Villa Linda Dog Park near the Santa Fe Place Mall. We think the wind blew the gate open and he made his way over to the dog park. Someone at the park told me that he had been picked up by animal services about 1/2 hour before I got over there. It's now too late to reach them by phone. I'll contact them first thing in the morning. He's a 2-year old unfixed male we've only owned for a couple weeks.
I've submitted his description and picture to petharbor.com. I'm submitting to other places per the instructions at the Humane Society:

I think he's at the shelter, but I can't know until tomorrow morning. Please respond to this message if you've seen him or if you have him. He's super friendly and very approachable.
Here is small gallery of pictures of Beau:

If/when Wally comes back, I assume they'll have to go back to his relationship with Artemis, but it's interesting to me that no show that has Wally in it seems to want to do him and Linda. Isn't she supposed to be his major comics canon love interest, his lightning rod, etc?
In The Flash S1 Ep1 and Arrow S1 Ep9 Why is the News person named Linda Park but then in S1 Ep12 thereβs another girl named Linda Park but they look different?
Spoilers for Speed Metal below...
remember Wally? I've just read Speed Metal and it was great, but last I recall she couldn't remember him.

She is claiming that the Netflix series "When They See Us" has defamed her for using her name, and portraying her as a "racist, unethical villain who is determined to jail innocent children of color at any cost". For those who don't know the story, five Harlem teenagers were wrongfully convicted of a rape in Central Park, and were later exonerated in 2002, after somebody else confessed. The Exonerated Five later sued the city and won a multi-million dollar settlement in 2014. Linda Fairstein, meanwhile, has never faced any legal consequences for her actions in the case. I hope she loses this case.
She's a character you often see people say they want in the comics. Artemis Crock is a comic book character, but the YJ version revamps her heavily. Many fans want to see her comic version turned closer to her YJ incarnation.
I'm stumped.
On one hand, DC always needs more good Asian rep, I love her backstory, she'd make for a good Arrow Family member, and she'd make for an interesting addition to Cheshire's backstory (assuming they kept her as Jade's sister).
On the other hand... It doesn't seem like she should exist in the comics. She's largely a combination of Arrowette, Ravager, and Linda Park-West, with Artemis' name and general character. She works in YJ because she replaces so many characters.
