When Clint returns home, there is interaction between him and the kids, and it's obvious the actors are all present - but when Laura appears, she is in a separate shot. In the majority of Clint and Laura's scenes together, one or the other has their back to the camera, or head out of shot. There are exactly two scenes with them in two-shot, and both times there is a separation between them that could easily be used to hide a composite shot. It actually looks a bit where one actor is playing two characters, and they composite them into the same scene.
My wife noticed this first, and after rewatching it myself, I think this might be the case - but I could use a few more pairs of eyes to watch those scenes again.

Thought of it as I was watching Hawkeye. She dated Jason Segal until 2008. Every other cast member had a real life partner on the show. She’s a very talented actress and she’s pretty. They could of had her on as a good off love interest for Ted or conquest for Barney
