A list of puns related to "Let the Right One In (The Vampire Diaries)"
UK. Drama. Troubled teen Milo (Eric Ruffin) hides behind his fascination with vampire lore. When he meets the equally alienated Sophie (Chloe Levine), the two form a bond that begins to challenge Milo's dark obsession, blurring his fantasy into reality. The Transfiguration tells a quieter, more deliberately paced tale than genre fans might expect, but for those with the patience to let it sink in, it offers its own rewards.

Note this one may not appeal to 'horror' fans. Its more genre-subversion. I have compared it to Let The Right One In because the comparison is inevitable, but I am not saying its equivalent in quality.
Iβve been watching it for like 6 years and I still watch it ever night before bed to fall asleep, whack Ik. Itβs like a comfort show Iβve watched it over and over like dozens of times it never gets old lmao itβs so comforting and my goofy ass will pause when I leave the room like as if I donβt know word for word what will happen next
My God, this movie was both heart warming and terrifying at the same time. Look, if you lack the maturity or IQ to realize that TwilightΒ is garbage, watch this movie and it might help you understand why. And by the way, likingΒ TwilightΒ does count as a mental deficiency in my book, fuck what you think...
But holy shit, this movie presented a beautiful little romance between a boy and his creepy friend.Β It's more than just gush worthy, it's pretty fucking violent!Β It doesn't pull any punches either.Β The boy's creepy little friend leaves a wake of dead bodies worthy of any horror movie. The whole time the two are sparking this little romance that is so sweet an innocent. The dichotomy of dating a monster, and being sweet and innocent is really what makes this movie.
The best part? There's no wangsty teen drama, there's no offensively outdated 'predator/prey' male and female rolls, the power in the relationship isn't disturbingly one sided, and NO ONE FUCKING SPARKLES...Β The two support each other in healthy ways that you don't even see in some adult relationship in movies.Β Quite frankly, I was just impressed.
The acting was also marvelous, the atmosphere just stunning, even overpoweringly dark at times, the plot simple and beautiful, and while some of the FX were a little off, most of it was pretty good.
I highly recommend this to all adult audiences, and it should likely be used to reprogram TwilightΒ fans.Β Seriously, if you're a fan of Twilight, you need to examine your life.Β Honestly, this is good enough where even the kinds of horror heads that crave blood will still likely appreciate it.
You can probably tell from the description that the little boy 'Oskar's' new friend 'Eli' is a vampire.Β The reason I saved this for the spoilers is because it might not be blatantly obvious, but I also feel like they were reaching for something even deeper with her character.Β Eli, the vampire, keeps saying she's not a girl.Β For the most part, you think she means that she's a vampire, hence not a person, hence not a girl.Β Perhaps it's just that she no longer perceivesΒ herself as a girl even though she clearly identifiesΒ as one.Β Then, almost like Sleepaway Camp,Β but with respect for the concept, you find out that she's been fully castrated.Β Meaning, whatever century she hails from, likely for the church, or other reasons, her boy genitals were completely removed before she was crosse

Reason why Elena, and Bonnie are not real friends
https://screenrant.com/the-vampire-diaries-10-reasons-why-elena-and-bonnie-arent-real-friends/
I don't agree with all of this that is posted on the list, but there are sometimes I felt like Elena ,and Bonnie's friendship was one sided, and at times it did seem like Elena was only using Bonnie for her powers . When Jeremy died and Bonnie was missing. Elena told Damon that he must find Bonnie. She need Bonnie. However it wasn't Bonnie she was concern for. Elena just wanted Bonnie so she can bring Jeremy back. I am sure there are other times that Elena wasn't a true friend to Bonnie, or where their relationship seem one sided. Can you name a few?
Well, I guess you donβt have to be a fan to request a card.
Iβm in my feelings so Iβve started rewatching The Vampire Diaries (for the record, I never actually finished the series... I stopped at the third doppelgΓ€nger because it was just too much.)
So while I binge the show Iβm gonna write some cards. Probably about whatβs happening on the show. So there might be spoilers! Am I team Stefan or team Damon? ...is that a hard one to guess, judging my history? Haha. Do I like Bonnie or nah? How annoying is season 1 Caroline?!
Comment below and immediately PM your addy for a card! Donβt send it as a chat, as I will literally never ever read it, like ever. If you donβt send your address (and in a timely manner, at that) you donβt get a card! Flair or no flair. This will probably just be a rando postcard with my TVD babblings. What a treasure. (No, Iβm not drunk, I promise.)
Yay! Cards!

(Oh and Pan's Labyrinth, The Devil's Rejects, The Haunting of Hill House and Stranger Things of 'course)
I just got into horror the last couple years so I know there are a lot of goodies I haven't seen yet. Love alien stuff, paranormal, horror-comedy, fantasy, suspense and dramatic long stories. Hate cliche racist/sexist interactions and subsequent style kill offs as well as gore-porn. I've also loved a lot of foreign horror movies but I never remember the names so feel free to recommend any films from anywhere! Any ideas? Thanks y'all!
I literally canβt listen to Never Say Never without replaying the ends of the pilot/finale in my head πππ

... keep reading on reddit β‘This may honestly be one of my favourite little pieces of lore ever. The bit from below is from Lexicanum, since I can't find my Warhammer Siege book but I really want more people to know about this little adventure:
>Darran Marvil is a Vampire who is masquerading as a commander of a fortress, on the Medieval World Horthn IV. Though the soldiers that serve him do not know of Marvil's secret, his true identity was discovered by someone and a group of Imperial Assassin were sent to kill him. In order to complete their mission, the assassins have caused a popular revolt amongst the peasants living nearby, who are now laying siege to Marvil's fortress. As his soldiers fight to protect the fortress, the Imperial Assassins successfully infiltrated it and they are now attempting to kill the Vampire.
I love when the minor races are going around, doing their own thing.
In-Universe, 5 years have passed.
For Endgame, they HAD to get an older actress for Cassie, to signify the time jump. She had a minor role, being on screen for 30 seconds...
Now, from what we know based off rumors and confirmations, we have a RELATIVELY well educated guess on the upcoming slate of films:
5/1/2020 Black Widow
11/6/2020 Eternals
2/12/2021 Black Panther 2
5/7/2021 Doctor Strange 2
7/?/2021 Spider-Man: Home Alone (jk on that title) (this date isn't on Disney's release roster. Neither is Far From Home. Sony chooses Spidey dates and they want one every 2 years)
11/5/2021 Shang Chi
2/18/2022 Captain Marvel 2
5/6/2022 Guardians of the Galaxy 3
7/29/2022 Nova, or Fantastic Four (biggest guess on the list, they like to have one new property a year)
I'm sure we'll see how close this guess is at SDCC or (my guess) D23, but 2023 would be the EARLIEST we would see Ant-men and the Wasps (hopeful on that title, probably called something else though). This means 5 years will have passed in real life, allowing Abby Ryder Fortson (original Cassie) to age into the role naturally. While we may see other time jumps in the MCU, it's massively unlikely the next Ant-Man film will have a jump (maybe a few months, but nothing major). It will be the first movie that can take place at present, and likely the first time we get to see Scott and family post-Endgame on their own (he may appear on his own in a cameo capacity, but I imagine other properties will be set in 2023 to begin with).
There would be no reason at all to use Emma Fuhrmann (Endgame Cassie) at all if that is the case. Especially since 1) we've only seen her for a total of 30 seconds, and 2) we have 2 movies worth of attachment with another actress who 3) has another movie in her contract, and would be 4) too old by them to be in it from a flash-back capacity. OC will be 15 in 2023, C2 was 17 (playing a 15 year old), which is an easy age gap to fudge with makeup. 15 playing 15 is closer than 23 playing 15.
But it's more than an audience connection to an actress or logical sense that she'll be the right age to pick up where she left off: There's also the director to consider. If the Russos decided to make the next Ant-Man (don't @ me, I know they're done until Secret Wars) they could probably use C2 going forward. If another random director got the reigns to Ant-Man 3, they would possibly just use the older actress... BUT if Peyton Reed gets to complete his trilogy there is a zero
