A list of puns related to "Legal working age"
School is pretty fucking boring, and generally covers a lot more ground than it needs to for an average job.
>Any questions, class?
>
>Why do I need to read Shakespeare to work at McDonalds?
>
>Uhh, next question.
Money is better than school, and with the rates universities are charging nowadays - the more time you have to work and save, the better.
Also, kids spend money like idiots so it'd probably be super good for the economy.
Education? Meh. Do it on the weekends.
Money? Aw yeee.
(You know you're supposed to upvote if it's an unpopular idea, right?)

Hi all,
First post here, hope it is allowed.
My company has just announced that I would be allowed to work abroad for 2 weeks (they were previously quite strict with no work to be done abroad at all).
My wife and I are looking to go to Thailand for 4 weeks total and work remotely for 2 weeks and 2 weeks holiday on official annual leave.
We both work in the UK for UK based companies. I have an EU passport and my wife is dual nationality - Thai and British.
My company said that I could work from Thailand if I am able to provide proof that I have the legal right to work there. Its only 2 weeks remote work. Does being married to a Thai citizen allow work?
What proof can I provide? Does 2 weeks remote work for a foreign company not based on Thailand, constitute as "work" in Thai authorities eyes? perhaps if does not count as work, then I could refer to some law that says it and that could be the proof?
Many thanks in advance!

Surprise surprise, as an adult I still struggle with anxiety and depression, but now with post traumatic stress symptoms like nightmares and flashbacks.
Isnβt that so fucked up?
It was never teenage angst and rebellion like all of the police officers, teachers, social workers, and therapists assumed, it was me trying to get someone to notice that I was in pain.
It made me lose my faith in society and humanity at large, and I still struggle to believe that people wonβt hurt me.
Silly question, and Google isn't giving me much to go on. I'm trying to find some percentage related to number of people over the age of 60 working as a Sys Admin or IT Manager. Heck, any position for that matter. What I've been able to find is that the average age of an IT Manager in the US is around 48. There may not be such a stat. I'm 62, this is more of a personal curiosity than anything else. Thanks!
Hi everyone.
Little backstory here. I started working here 2 years ago. Started out as an employee then into a "contractor". My mental health started declining after signing the contract 1 year ago and multiple incidents over the year that eventually manifested into full blown anxiety attacks and self doubt with reality. I'm looking for advice with how to proceed. I've spoken to a lawyer already and she's told me to get my mental health in control first. I feel like handling this situation and ending it will help with my mental health. My last shift was on Oct 26th, 2021 and now it's been 2 weeks and the time off hasn't helped. I broke down in front of my parents and siblings yesterday. The past 2 weeks I thought distracting myself with video games, lots of coffee and surrounding myself with books would help. I felt like all this was pointless and just numbing the pain. I have spoken with a few counselors and a psychologist. I think it's helping, but I have a lot on my mind currently. I would like to deal with this situation as I feel like I have some control on what I can do with this and would like your guys help.
Here are the key points with what's going on: I use to work at a chronic pain/sports injury clinic as a therapist. I've already quit and placed my 2 weeks, 2 weeks ago.
The way it's structured at our company is that our "Chiropractic Doctor" does consults and sells these protocols to address patients pain. He would jump in sometimes and do the treatments if we're too busy. He doesn't enjoy it at all. It's mainly the physio and me doing all of the treatments. He does the diagnoses, but most of the time they are all the same and sometimes incorrect. He diagnoses them all as strains/sprains. Even if it's ankle SPRAIN he would still write strain when clearly no muscles were strained. He would only diagnose them differently if we have a scan done. Since it's legally now on paper so he has too. He does this because he's either incompetent or wanting to finish the protocol and take the patients full amount of money. Now writing this all down now, it's really both..
I wrote a huge wall of text earlier after this paragraph and accidentally pressed an edit button and it cropped the half out. So I'm going to summarize what I wrote. I would like advice on what my options are other than lawyers at this point. I signed an unfair contract and did not know I was working with a narcissist. A lot of unethical practices going on at the clinic. I would like
... keep reading on reddit β‘I was wondering how porn works in countries like Germany where the age of consent is much lower, 14 I believe. In the states everything is 18+ would porn there be 14+?
Yo internet travelers of 2021! As we all know, 2020 was an intense and lonely year for many of us, which led /u/finder_of_the_humans/ to spend a whole fucking year on a friend finding project that uses 28 questions to find you compatible people to talk to. It's the coolest project I've come across in a while in the way it works (hence my posts) .
TLDR:
---
So how does it work?
Step 1. Find compatible matches
Basically it matches people up based on answers to 28 simple questions. For each question, you choose your answer and also answers from people you would want to talk to. This is your compatible matches list.
Step 2. Friend requests
Once you have the list, you can then send out friend requests to these users, (or receive requests from them), and once either of you have accepted a request, you get connected with that person, you form a friendship. You eventually meet up, get married, 3 years later you get divorced and fight over the who gets the coffee table with 5 lawyers involved.
Why this is awesome:
What are the questions:
Sounds sketchy, or you have concerns?
A few people have concerns about the above. So I can highlight a few things.
Can anyone tell me whatβs the legal work age in Lebanon? Iβd be very grateful if you can find me the part in the constitution translated perferably, thanks :}
I was on a work trip near Chicago and I had noticed that the Applebee's I had been to earlier had a host that looked like he was 12. Then when I went to check in, the hotel was doing some kind of 4th of July BBQ event, and the kid working the grill also looked about 12.
Then the check-in employee looked like she was 15. I was surprised, and meant to ask this 15 year old if there was a minimum legal age to work in this area.
Instead, I accidentally asked this 15 year-old-looking girl, βI'm sorry, but like, what is the age of consent here?"
So the age of consent in the US is 18 and the age of consent in Canada is 16 so if I went to Canada would I go by their legal age of consent or the USβs? Iβm 15 atm and will me 16 in a month so if I went to Canada at the age of 16 would I go by Canadaβs consent law?
