So all in all, this is far easier than last weekβs boss. Setup should be:
2-3 Code of the Commander Titans
2-3 Attunement of Grace Warlocks
1 Way of the Trapper Hunter
Loadout should be:
Mountaintop, Recluse, Anarchy/Acantha-D X69420/Wendigo/Prospector
A VERY nice strategy to doing this encounter is to conserve heavy ammo during the Arkborn encounter. This allows you to dump ammo on Pagouri and then rally to the flag as done in the video, allowing you to get 2x power ammo and Mountaintop ammo.
So encounter starts (no one should rally), and one Banner Shield Titan puts up their shield along with one Well of Radiance. When the boss appears, the Hunter will use Shadowshot on the boss and the fireteam dumps their ammo on the boss. After this, the fireteam should rally at the flag and go down to the first plate below the rally flag. Quick note, a Minotaur may be coming up the stairs, so the fireteam should focus down this Minotaur before proceeding.
Then, another Banner Shield goes up, along with a Well of Radiance, and the fireteam should be killing ads on the sides with Recluse. After the plate is captured, the boss will appear, and the fireteam should get to the top area near the rally flag and damage the boss to no more than over 1/3. Stop above 1/3 health or at 1/2 health or else the fireteam will have to capture 3 plates, which is disastrous. After the boss leaves, the Cyclopses will appear. 1 Mountaintop shot to the center eye will destroy the Cyclops. There will be 2 directly in front of the rally flag and 2 in the far back behind the boss.
The fireteam will then rotate to the left plate and eliminate the Cyclopses in the back, which will one shot you, and kill any Minotaurs on the plate. Well/Banner Shield can be used at fireteam discretion. After the plate is captured, the fireteam rotates back through the rally flag area to the right plate, repeat as done with the right plate, and the boss will appear. The fireteam then damages the boss (preferably with Well and Banner) and kills the boss for a reliable 2-phase. The encounter is relatively simple but may take some time to get used to. Anti barrier rounds shoot through the shield of the boss, do a bit of burst damage on the initial startup, then go down and cycle wells and bubbles to stay alive. Eriana's vow does great damage with its buff up. This strat makes it super easy to do now, since the well makes it easier to survive and there will be no cyclops spawns.
