Anyone tryout Lactobacillus Rhamnosus GG or any pro-biotic????

I was watching one of RUN-DMC's videos that had a microbiome specialist and she mentioned taking this pro-biotic since it is the most proven pro-biotic of all time with multiple studies showing it's benefit to aiding a healthy gut. Well long covid has given me CFS, IBS, GERD, and many stomach issues. So I want to try it out. Just wondering if any of yall have tried it.

Reading online, some people do have bad reactions to pro-biotics sadly and sometimes feel very sick on them. I've also read that some people felt good when taking pro-biotics and then felt bad once stopping them and in some cases worse. So please feel free to comment your experiences.

Lactobacillus crispatus, Lactobacillus rhamnosus GR-1, and Lactobacillus reuteri RC-14

Does anyone know of a probiotic brand that has Lactobacillus crispatus, Lactobacillus rhamnosus GR-1, and Lactobacillus reuteri RC-14? Based on my amateur research, this combination may help with my chronic yeast infections.

The only Lactobacillus crispatus probiotics I’ve found have other strains of rhamnosus and reuteri but not specifically GR-1 and RC-14.

Tyramine/histamine sub thread/community? lactobacillus plantarum/rhamnosus

I'd really like to be able to correspond with people who have tyramine/histamine triggered migraines, especially so I can learn more about using probiotics to combat them. Is there a way to create such a sub thread/community here? I think I've been having some luck using these two lactobacillus strains, but would love to be able to direct the power of crowd sourcing towards problems related to dosage, delivery method; and most importantly, creating more powerful strain of lactobacillus, one targeted at tyramine/histamine?

Anybody tried this? Looking for the anti anxiety benefits as oral GABA helps me when I’m feeling off. Please nobody comment to tell me it doesn’t cross the blood brain barrier, I don’t think it needs to. It’s possible my blood brain barrier is compromised... but it works.

Lactobacillus Rhamnosus worth a try

I’ve been taking this for daily anxiety that becomes unbearable right before my period. It’s only been a few days and it seems to have taken the edge off dramatically. Even when I’m not PMSing id struggle to get to and from work and perform basic tasks because it was so bad. I’m hoping it keeps working but I’d say it’s worth a shot. I got the seeking health brand as I have access to a professional for good quality supplements. It’s supposed to help modulate gaba receptors somehow and ive also read it down regulates histamine receptors which I know can be a major factor in PMDD. Thought It’d be worth a share if it helps even one person. I’ll update if it keeps working for me.

Lactobacillus rhamnosus GG

Wondering if anyone has tried this specific strain as part of their protocol.

It seems to the most widely studied probiotic out there, has anti-candida effects in several ways, and can also help mental issues/stress/anxiety (which could further help in the fight against candida).

I don't see it mentioned much in candida circles though.

Lactobacillus rhamnosus

My doctor suggested I take this (Culturelle) along side the vanco and Florestor and now after doing some research I’m worried that it’s making the vanco ineffective. Should I stop taking it until I’m done the vanco? I’m on day 7 of my first 10 day treatment and not feeling any better. Stomach cramps, smelly gas and soft orangey yellow stools and β€œneeding to go” feeling 24/7. Could this still be the infection still or my body thrown off from the inbalance of bacteria from the vanco. I have a follow up with my GI in a couple weeks, can I request another stool toxins test if I don’t feel any better?

Update (valium, relapses, pregabalin, lactobacillus rhamnosus)

Yo guys some of you probably seen me here before.

I started tapering from 5mg of valium after abusing klonopin, alprazolam and of course valium for almost 2 months, along with drinking.

In the beginning I was taking 5mg of the valium daily and didnt feel any anxiety relief. Nothing. I was getting symptoms at that dosage. I wasnt taking caffeine.

I decided I was not gonna be a pussy and I was gonna live my freaking life.

I was getting agoraphobia everyday and then i decided i SHOULD go out.

Started hanging out with friends, dating a girl (of course having sexual intercourse).

Started drinking coffee up to the point that now I drink 2 full cups every morning and feel great.

I exercise a lot again.

I believe Lactobacillus rhamnosus for 1 month made wonders for me. I got several relapses during the taper where I took 15mg of valium, 5mg even when I was down to almost 1mg already. These dosages where I didnt felt much, was actually making noticeable effects again. 15mg made me high, drunk alike body cognition.

I'm something like 6 months into benzo use, and 3 months into "taper".

I only dose valium when I feel I need it, and I've reached the point where only the dust of the pill is enough for me. I might be taking 0.5mg of valium or 1mg at max.

I skip 1 or 2 days no problem. I been getting episodes of insomnia where I cant turn my mind off at night but i guess it's because i been sleeping while high for years now (weed, alcohol, and lately benzos).

Also I got a pregabalin script but NO I'm not dosing it everyday. I'm using the pregabalin to get high every 3 days or so. Of course I'm gonna take therapeutic dosages if I ever feel like I need to but I'm not gonna hook on this medicine.

It gets better guys. Dont lock urselfs up to live in the dark. Go out for walks. I know stuff is hard and not the same for everybody but I know you got this too.

10 day Lactobacillus Rhamnosus trial starting!!

Whats up guys i have these 5 billion lactobacillus rhamnosus pills and there is only 10 with me, someone related it lowered their tolerance rapidly by increasing GABA receptors.

I am currently on 3,5mg of diazepam.

Since GABA receptors are the main cause of tolerance and dependency on benzodiazepines it's goddamn worth to try increasing their effectiveness.

Anybody has experience on using this supplement?

Im Just reporting the start of my trial and Maybe somebody has experience with this. In 10 days i'll be back!

2 weeks on Lactobacillus rhamnosus (the probiotic that aids anxiety, panic attacks and depression)

Hey guys!

A little backstory - a while back I was prescribed antibiotics and felt absolutely horrid from it. Which led me to read up about probiotics and found out about this specific bacteria called β€œLactobacillus rhamnosus” that according to recent studies, aids tremendously with battling anxiety, depression, panic attacks.

So! I thought, what have I got to lose? Started taking it. And decided to take some users’ suggestions and keep you guys updated with the progress.

Now, the pack suggests you take one a day, but reading on studies they’ve done, some people have taken two. I decided on taking 1 and making an effort to better my gut health like eating more fermented foods, fresh veggies, trying to get enough sleep and lessen the sugar significantly.

So far? It might be a placebo effect, but I do feel an improvement in my mood. I’m starting to feel a bit better. Now, there are downs, obviously this isn’t a magical pill as much as I would hope for, I still have anxiety and sometimes get attacks, but I feel like my mood has improved a little. How can I be sure? Well I’ve been having a shit year so far, so much shit has happened, I’m remaining hopeful and fighting it, of course, and having a good mood definitely helps the daily battle.

Studies say they saw improvements after one/two months of taking the probiotics so I’m all here for that, I’m not expecting anything because I was a little skeptical to begin with, but hey, we gotta take risks to make our lives better and if nothing else, if these fuckers don’t work for anxiety and attacks, at least I’ll be doing my body a favor with pooping regularly and being less gassy and bloated.

I wanna finish this by ensuring you that it will all be ok, you’re all warriors for dealing with this shit and anyone who has this knows that every day is a motherfucking battle. I am so proud of all of you on here! The best remedy is talking about it, just know that this too shall pass, my friends, remain strong until then!

I believe in you and love you!

Lactobacillus rhamnosus GG (ATCC 53103) has been extensively studied for all sorts of uses outside of digestion (i.e anxiety, ADHD, inflammation etc) What are your personal experiences been with this particular strain?

With over 800 studies, it appears this strain has been used for all sorts of issues. I'm looking to incorporate a good probiotic into my stack and figured I would start here. I've had experience with many probiotic cocktails on the market and have had rather suboptimal results (i.e increased body inflammation, histamine exasperation, etc). I'm curious, has anyone here taken Culturelle for an extended period of time and reaped notable benefits from doing so? Did this strain synergize with any other strain? Are there side effects upon taking it initially? Thanks in advance!
