I am just starting out completely new and watched a couple videos on doing this method anything else I should know though about growing plants this way
I currently have 2 super skunk growing in 5 gallon buckets kratky method. I’m using general hydroponics master blend nutrients. It seems like there are deficiencies. I’ve added cal mag and even upped the nutrient levels a bit with no luck.
Does anyone have experience with these nutrients in this method? I’m thinking next round going fox farms trio and DWC.
Hello all! I’m very new to the hydroponics world and i have a question that may seem dumb and simple but please don’t judge me!
If I am planting peppers using the kratky method in a 5 gallon home depot bucket how often do I refill the nutrients in the water?
Also do i have 2 buckets and each time I need to refill the nutrients I create a new nutrients solution in the new bucket and transfer the plant to the new bucket and clean out the old one? Or do i have one bucket and add a small cup worth of nutrients?
Im confused because i saw a video where a person was mixing a nutrients solution in an entire 5 gallon bucket but I’ve also seen someone using a cup of the solution and dumping it into their bucket.

I am extremely new to hydroponics and am looking to start with bell peppers. I was going to get a plant from my local garden centre that is already 65-75 days mature. The only thing i have absolutely no idea what to do is what kind of nutrients to put into my water. Any and all pieces of advice are appreciated! I am planning on doing the kratky method.
I wanna get started on kratky method it seems easieat and I have a hankerin to grow somthin.
How do you go about choosing container size? What are the recomendations on hydroponic formula, do you make it at home or where can I geta quality set?
I have a galaxy false aralia and was wondering if I could try propagating it and growing the propagating bit with hydroponics.
