A list of puns related to "Kingdom of the Isles"
Iβm not talking about just the area of England, but also Whales, Scotland (which I think were mainly the kingdom of the Picts), Ireland, and Cornwall. What would be some good books and websites to get more information on this topic. I appreciate any help.

Specialty:
Skill(s):Β Polearms (Poleaxe), Fortification, Leadership, Recruitment, Warcraft
Physical Description:Her body was not fashioned for kindness, far from the gentle and kind wife of aΒ KingΒ that children read in storybooks. This queen wears gold chainmaille instead of silks, a great helm instead of a jeweled crown. Her mouth is made for cruelty and her smile can chill the heart of any man. She is fearless, iron-wrought, cold and cruel, and her kingdom will grow with her bloodlust.Β Esred GreyjoyΒ inherited theΒ smiling eyeΒ of her grandfather, eyes as blue as the summer sky but sparkle something deviant. A black mane of hair falls down her back in braids, unless it is required of her to wear her crown, then it is smooth and shiny. She is not the tallest, reaching about as high as most mensβ chests, but what she lacks in height she makes up for in fire.

359: Traveled to Essos with her father and his men to recruit new troops. Esred learned how to gather a group of new men and how to keep them happy in the islands, thus upping the Iron Islandsβ levies (Recruitment.)
361: Naval warfare was one thing, but warfare on the ground was much more important for raids and reavings. Urrithon taught Esred how to fight on land and what tactics worked for the ironborn (warcraft.)
363: King Urrithon Greyjoy passed from natural causes and Esred became Queen. In that same year, she married Ingvar Harlaw, a scion of House Harlaw. Before they were even born, Urrithon and Lord Harlaw had betrothed them in secret, as to not let Urrithon show favorites.

I think New England is a nickname for Rhode Island, but what about all that other stuff?
Calling this a survival server would be an understatement. Rather this server acts as a way for people to experience power, loss, and greed. Kingdoms are likely to form and with them, so are alliances. Wars can break out, spying can occur and betrayals can happen.
INTENTIONS
This server will at its core be built for the players. You are free to build and conquer any area you see fit. Your medieval kingdom can stretch the whole server if time allows. If the majority of the server would like a change, there will be a vote. Admins are there to serve the players and their wants.
BASIC GUIDELINES
This server is medieval. There is no modern. Nordic, Rustic, etc.. building types are fine but nothing industrial or modern (this also means steampunk). Basically, anything that looks like it could have been built with natural materials is what we're going for. No skyscrapers or car roads. You don't have to be a master builder, it's fine, really.
War is not all-out griefing and chaos. There is a method to the madness. Example: A town wishes to launch an attack on another that involves damaging property. They would contact an admin, detailing their attack and what they intend to destroy. This will either be approved or declined by an admin without a bias. Any attack that is approved immediately warrants an equal attack from the enemy.
There is no land claiming but there is personal chest claiming as people are likely to have personal belongings in their homes.
The world is 4500x4500 to encourage closer kingdoms and more interaction such as trading alliances and possibly, war.
This server uses a Terraforged world but does not require forge. This means mountains and valleys are majestic in scale, as well as oceans and forests.
To be added onto later as the server progresses and gets more fleshed out.
We have discord and we have a server that is whitelisted. To get whitelisted simply join the discord and get in contact with an owner.
You will receive a discord role for your members if your group exceeds 5 people to help make you distinct.
I hope to see you soon!

England has the traditional British Red. Scotland is blue like the cross of St Andrew. Ireland is, of course, green. Why is Wales poop brown? Is there an association between Wales and brown?

It was an Otis wedding.
As a kid I always loved the concept of being able to play as a dragon or dinosaur in video games but I wasn't able to ever find anything decent until I found The Isle a year ago. I literally never heard about it ever until I randomly saw a short clip with some people playing as Utah's and I was hooked.
I was wondering if anyone knows any games where you create your own dragon and grow it kind of like The Isle. I know Dawn of Dragons (or whatever it is) was being developed but they stopped making it.
At this point there are at least 3 Dinosaur simulator games with growth implemented (or soon to be implemented).
This is amazing. Found a few already. Still looking for main DMs Arius Doomstar and Firstlord. Update found another who was actually a buddy of mine from highschool. Thanks Reddit
Henri II of France had many allies and enemies during his reign. His reign was marked with wars against Habsburgs, and he allied with Scotland, a few Italian states and, most importantly, the Ottoman Empire.
Would Suleiman the Magnificent, the ruler of Ottoman Empire and Henri II's major ally, be aware of Henri II's project of a Franco-British Empire through marriage of Mary Queen of Scots and Francois the Dauphin, and would Suleiman see the idea of unifying multiple kingdoms through marriage as an act of statecraft or an act of cowardice(compared to outright conquest, as Suleiman did)? And did Henri II ever consider seeking Ottoman help to get his son and daughter-in-law onto the English throne?
