It seems like this core roster have been not only suddenly struggling in HP, but have also been significantly failing in snd without decemate. Something is off. Lets take a look at the KD’s and map WR% of NYSL with Diamondcon, too see how the core trio fared w/o HyDra. I know mack on a sub, and Diamondcon in the roster is massively different, but NYSL stage 1-2 were a good team and I want to see how they got their wins.
HP: 15-11
SnD: 10-10
Control: 8-9
So, the precedent of NY being a fantastic HP team still stands, as well as being solid enough at SnD coming home at a 50% WR, but even with diamondcon, they were still a solid control team, narrowly having a 47% WR. HyDras arrival massively boosted the HP prowess of NY, but their control massively regressed, and now that teams have figured them out, it seems as if they don’t have a 2nd mode that they are great at to fall back on. Its the same problem OpTic and other teams have had; OpTic were a fantastic CTRL team in stage 1, but faltered some times in HP and were miserable in search. Fazes HP in Stage 2 was amazing, but they got exposed for not having a 2nd good mode, and that seems to be the case of whats happening with NY. They are struggling to be able to bully teams out on HP, and aren’t able to rely on winning 2-3-5.
**Fun Fact: The only times NY has lost while winning a hardpoint is to London in stage 3, LAT recently, and faze in GF’s, as well as Dallas in stage 1. Every. Single. Other. Loss. has been by losing hardpoints. T

Edit: I have been snooping around in this sub for a while and finally wanted to make a post after realizing my anger and sadness for my uncle was valid. This was in August of 2020. He got his diagnosis January of that year and continued working until mid 2020 even after getting surgery because he wanted to do his best to provide for his wife (my aunt-in-law) and their son (my cousin). He was on FMLA and his condition continued to worsen and deteriorated as his cancer has began to metastasize to everywhere in his body including his brain. He was in a lot of pain in the hospital and just two days before he passed, Kroger let him know he was fired and it made him pretty sad. Rest in peace Bac Tam, we will always love and remember you.
Edit 2: I did not expect this to blow up as it did and I’m very grateful for all the support I received and feel less alone. From reading the comments, I’m starting to feel really bad for not clarifying things further. He worked as a machine operator in Kroger Mountain View foods’s milk plant. He did get fired when his vacation, sick leave, FMLA had been used up; which had been used so that he can get surgery as well as chemotherapy. He got surgery towards the beginning of finding out his diagnosis but returned to work as soon as he was able to so that he could maintain his job. That was only until the extent where he could no longer go to work because he started to be in a lot of pain and started getting blurry vision while commuting to his workplace. He was hospitalized shortly after. His termination was on the basis that he didn’t return to work when his FMLA expired as he was laying on his deathbed. The reason why I am angry and sad is because he dedicated a lot of years and worked really hard to finally realize on his deathbed, that his job did not give a single flying fuck about him. He was devastated and cried when he found out they had fired him. He even had held off taking morphine even though he was in massive amounts of pain (until he found out he got fired), in hopes he would somehow get better and be able to work again and take care of his family. But him getting fired - to him, it was like the final nail in the coffin and he gave up his will to live. I may be biased because this was my only maternal uncle but this was the nicest dude in the world. I loved him and it hurt seeing him so sad because of what happened. He got fired on a Monday and died that Wednesday. I wanted to make this post because I wanted everyo

Idk if you know it, but the subreddit you're reading this on once was a part of that project as well. Yes, r/ethtrader was the first community to try the system, even many years before the r/cryptocurrency.
They left the project and started Donuts. %100 community-owned Cryptocurrency, without any regulation or funding from Reddit. This is what I believe gives them the more relaxed forum, a kind of community, that I still adore.
All of you heard how censorship the r/cryptocurrency is. I faced that too.
My first article (Not a post) on that subreddit got deleted before even getting published. This drove me absolutely crazy, as I spent my whole night researching and writing that article.
Then, I posted it here. It got a lot of criticism but people were still respectful about it. I can't even believe the sheer amount of PMs I got over how other people faced the same censorship on that subreddit. But what they did to that poor man was absolutely the new low.
As I said, I edited the post and won't give his name, nor what happened, but it was really, really something that made me super frustrated.

So I’ve been in Nor Cal taking care of my dad for a few months who got a sudden cancer diagnosis, got a call from my neighbor saying there’s a ticket on my Audi (which is parked directly outside my house, not in anyone else’s way) that it will be impounded in 72 hours if not moved 500 feet.
I wasn’t aware of the law and the 7 years I’ve been in this neighborhood (laguna lake right by the middle school) I’ve seen almost everyone around me stash cars for months with no incident, so I’m kinda blindsided by all this.
I called the police dispatch that tows the cars and left a message with my situation but curious if anyone else has any ideas on what I should do?
Maybe just call a tow company to roll it into my driveway? How much would that cost? I’ve never had to tow a car before....
I can’t get back to SLO because this week is my dads treatment and next week we have PET scans and only caregivers on 2 days, And I’m not gonna leave him alone.

Hi everyone. After taking a look at BC's restart plan, it says that the province intended to move to stage 4 (we are in stage 3 plus additional restrictions) once we hit 70% first dose vaccination rates for adults 18+. We are well over that threshold, so It got me wondering when the province is planning to move forwards? Has the plan been paused due to variants? If so I think the province should provide an update to adress that. If no official word is out on when we are moving forwards, are there any educated rumors on what the province is planning?
