A list of puns related to "Kathy Staff"
Iβm a recently graduated library technician who has been looking for work in my field. As a side hobby Iβve taken up learning American Sign Language, not even considering how it can help in my professional life.
Recently a retired librarian acquaintance recommended that I take Kathy Macmillanβs ecourse. Itβs a six week course published by the ALA and seems to be a great introduction to learning how to better serve Deaf and HOH patrons.
Iβd love to hear anyones experience with this course or ASL in library settings as a whole!

#State testimony
The January 6 Select Committee has expanded its investigation to include state-level officials in Arizona, Georgia, Pennsylvania, and Michigan.
Pennsylvania's 2020 secretary of state, Kathy Boockvar, reportedly spoke with the Committee. Boockvar fought back against unfounded election fraud claims from state Republicans in the months after the election, blaming them for the insurrection:
>βThe attack on our Capitol was the direct result of disinformation and lies β lies that were intentionally spread to subvert the free and fair election and undermine peopleβs faith in our democracy,β Boockvar said during [a Jan. 2021 hearing].
In December, Michigan Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson provided a virtual interview with the Committee. Trump tried to overturn Bidenβs win the state, inviting members of the state legislature to the White House shortly after the election to pressure them to change the election result.
Also in December, Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger spoke to the Committee about βstolen election claims,β presumably including Trumpβs Jan 2021 phone call asking him to βfindβ the votes necessary to overturn the election.
>Thompson said that Raffensperger spoke about his efforts to defend the integrity of the stateβs election system despite claims from Trump and his allies that the election had been stolen, which was based on falsehoods and misinformation that were all debunked when audits and recounts confirmed Bidenβs win.

She just honestly doesnβt know who works for herβ¦. ENTER Ramona calling her cater βthe helpβ. And everyone blasts her but Kathy has gotten NOTHING. Thoughts
I don't want to step on anybody's toes here, but the amount of non-dad jokes here in this subreddit really annoys me. First of all, dad jokes CAN be NSFW, it clearly says so in the sub rules. Secondly, it doesn't automatically make it a dad joke if it's from a conversation between you and your child. Most importantly, the jokes that your CHILDREN tell YOU are not dad jokes. The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. They are stupid plays on words, lame puns and so on. There has to be a clever pun or wordplay for it to be considered a dad joke.
Again, to all the fellow dads, I apologise if I'm sounding too harsh. But I just needed to get it off my chest.

#Covid violations
Republican extremist Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (GA) was fined again last week for refusing to wear a mask on the House floor, marking the 22nd penalty the congresswoman has amassed since last summer. Each violation is now costing her $2,500, taken directly from her congressional pay. The total cost of Greeneβs refusal to mask-up has exceeded $50,000, nearly a third of her official salary.
>"You have been observed not wearing a mask on July 29, August 2, September 20, 21, 23, 24, 27, 28, 29, 30, and October 1, 12, 19, 20, 21, 22, 25, 26, and 27, and have been asked by a member of my staff to wear a mask while in the Hall of the House of Representatives on each occasion unless recognized to speak by the chair," [House Sergeant-at-Arms William] Walker wrote in the letter.
Greene declared her defiance on Newsmax on Monday, claiming she has been fined over $60,000 (clip):
>She's fined me over $60,500 in mask fines. I refuse to wear a mask! And, Chris, I have to tell you something else: I am not vaccinated and I will be standing strong, standing up for the people across this country that refuse to get vaccinated.
Fellow Georgia Republican Rep. Andrew Clyde was also fined last week, bringing his total to more than $30,000 for Covid violations.
Rep. Dan Crenshaw, a Republican from Texas, joined the pair in the fined-for-safety-violations club last month when the House Sergeant-at-Arms cited (pdf) him

Kyle assesses the progress at Suttonβs new home, while Dorit hopes her new business venture is the right fit for her family. Crystal invites Erika, Garcelle and Kathy over for a dinner where duck is served, but beef is on the menu. Kathy puts her staff to work arranging an evening to remember, but when Erika and Sutton face off, it quickly becomes a night the ladies would rather forget.
After last nights episode I have grown tired of her. Her constant comments about βthe helpβ is disgusting. Same with her mentioning that most of the people that work for her are of colour. I really hope this is her last season.

Dad jokes are supposed to be jokes you can tell a kid and they will understand it and find it funny.
This sub is mostly just NSFW puns now.
If it needs a NSFW tag it's not a dad joke. There should just be a NSFW puns subreddit for that.
Edit* I'm not replying any longer and turning off notifications but to all those that say "no one cares", there sure are a lot of you arguing about it. Maybe I'm wrong but you people don't need to be rude about it. If you really don't care, don't comment.

The housewives are heading to Bimini, and Adriana, along with five suitcases, arrives at the airport but forgot her passport. She has to forgo the ride on the private plane and then misses her second flight.
Karent talks to Lea about getting Rodolfo to commit, and she tells her to put a timeline on the relationship so she can get what she wants. Later, after Adriana arrives and the women get Lea involved in taking shots, she brings up the Karent conversation from earlier and Karent didn't like that. Lea - if she wanted to tell the ladies, she would have told the ladies, right?! But, what she doesn't know, is there is an article about Rodolfo, with a 24-year old saying they are meant to be.
Joanna says she's using their weekend away to decide whether or not her and Roman's relationship will continue. Lisa says that after not working for four years, she felt she was losing her identity (which is why I opened up a small business!), with Karent toasting the women to a peaceful weekend, which immediately follows with rain, which I just feel is SO Karent.
Alexia decides to bring up the Rodolfo rumours in front of everyone, and she and Lisa say he is cheating on her. She says it can't be true - she hasn't seen it with her own eyes, and neither had Alexia!
I love the printout! Cell phones are less drama!

We're back on the boat where Cynthia and Porsha are fighting, and after being mad about being called bitch by Porsha, Cynthia grabs Porsha's hands after she wagged her finger, Porsha straddles Cynthia, and Cynthia responds by kicking Porsha right in the stomach.
Cynthia talks to Peter, who tells her she's taking out other things on Porsha and needs to apologize. They go to lunch with the other women, but go outside and talk between the both of them and figure out what happened and choose to move on from it.

We begin by celebrating Erika's 45th birthday, and she gets two things from Tom: call about how he can see the house but he's not in the backyard, and a lawsuit! I'm kidding. It's a Marc Chagall painting, and a blank panther carrier ring worth $79k. Definitely borrowed or bought with stolen money!
We meet Dorit and her group of staff. For two kids, she has a baby

##Alabama
Alabama Gov. Kay Ivey (R) signed new congressional and legislative maps into law last week as legal challenges mounted in the courts. The congressional map (image), drawing boundaries for U.S. House districts, maintains the GOPβs 6-1 hold on the state. The single Democratic seat, CD07, is held by Rep. Terri Sewell and is the subject of the latest lawsuit alleging racial gerrymandering. The Republican-drawn map packs the majority of the Black population into CD07, resulting in only one minority district.
The lawsuit, brought by Black voters in and around CD07, reads in part (pdf):
>Between 2010 and 2020, Alabamaβs Black population grew 6.5 percent. During the same period, the stateβs white population fell by 1.7 percent, meaning majority-Black Alabamians drove all of Alabamaβs population growth over the last decade. And yet the stateβs newly enacted congressional redistricting plan further entrenches the stateβs white majority by creating only a single majority-Black district in the state, despite Alabamaβs Black population being sufficiently numerous and geographically compact to support two majority-Black congressional districts...
>HB 1 βcracksβ Black voters between the First, Second, and Third Congressional Districts, and βpacksβ Black voters into the Seventh Congressional District (βCD 7β) despiteβor perhaps because ofβthe fact that the Black population in these districts is sufficiently numerous and geographically compact to form a majority of the voting age population in a second district. Additionally, there is widespread racially polarized voting in Alabama, and when considered against the totality of the circumstances
