Katherine and Elijah are two legendary characters. Both have great self-preservation skills, are smart, powerful, and capable of doing what needs to be done. Together, no one could’ve stopped them. Not to mention the fact that they had strong feelings for each other. They’re orgin story was a little complicated since he basically planned on sacrificing her from the beginning, but they were sweet and I loved seeing that version of them. These characters have been through so much that it seemed impossible for them to be their true self with anyone that wasn’t each other.
Elijah was one of the only ones who she could be vulnerable and open around. She loved Stefan, but he never could’ve forgiven her. Stefan doesn’t understand what it’s like to have to change who you are to survive. Elijah would be more understanding because he and his family have done terrible things while on the run from Mikael.
I hate how they just made their relationship go away. After she gave the cure to Elijah and imagined him coming to save her on her deathbed, we saw there was some real significance to them that was deeper than a lot of the other ships at that time. I would’ve loved if she convinced him to leave with her and have a life of his own. She would’ve made a awesome addition to TO, and I think she would’ve been smart enough to foresee half of the events they encountered.
seems like she had no powers outside of coming back from hell over and over
if stefan had just snap her neck and drop her there for the fire to engulf her it would had worked without him sacrificing himself

I've only been playing for the last couple of weeks and Katherine has trivialized (kind of) any Real Mirage Playthroughs. Ice Storm with that extra floor burn, to be exact, is absolutely busted, not to mention her teleporting everywhere and just not dying. Also, add in the lightning strike secondary boss skill, and you've got yourself a dps monster.
I've also seen a couple people saying she's strong as hell. I wanna see if other people think so too, or I'm just really really shit at playing the other characters, or just haven't tried the REAL OP characters yet.
