A list of puns related to "Justice and Reconciliation Party"
As mentioned, the infrastructure bill is heading to Biden’s desk without a deal on the Build Back Better reconciliation bill. Democrats seemed to have a deal to pass these two in tandem to assuage concerns over mistrust among factions in the party. Is the BBB dead in the water now that moderates like Manchin and Sinema have free reign to vote against reconciliation? Manchin has expressed renewed issues with the new version of the House BBB bill and could very well kill it entirely. Given the immense challenges of bridging moderate and progressive views on the legislation, what is the future of both the bill and Democratic legislation on these topics?
Emphasizing benefits of cooperation; Biden declares both parties a winner. Noting that neither side got everything they wanted, but that there was much to celebrate in the Bipartisan Bill for the American people.
He asserted that the Bill modernizes the power grid and accelerates the build-out of zero-carbon, renewable energy. Stating that it would replace thousands of gas-guzzling buses with clean, electric ones — including 35,000 electric school buses. It would cap abandoned wells leaking methane gas. A nationwide network of charging stations for electric vehicles — 500,000 stations in total.
Project would strengthen and revitalize our natural infrastructure; the coastlines and levees — while preparing our physical infrastructure for wildfires, floods and other extreme weather events. We’ll put people to work delivering high-speed internet to every American home, including the 35 percent of rural families who currently go without it.
The president, nonetheless acknowledged that the Bill is missing some critical initiatives on climate change that he proposed, but that he intends to pass those in the Reconciliation Bill.
Biden did not mention anything about both bills having to pass in tandem which he had previously indicated and which had caused concerns about the survivability of the Bill.
With progress being made on both bills, one bipartisan and the other non-partisan [Budget Reconciliation]. Are the American people ultimately the winners and beneficiaries of the Biden bifurcated 2-step plan? Can both parties actually declare themselves winners now, like President Biden did?

It's more than just a really icky feeling of Wolf being of very trace native ancestry and her inconsistent statements of what her lineage is (and that's a really fucked up feeling). But for those who stood up for Wolf and what her cause began as, to address white supremacy and misogyny against Indigenous peoples, holy fuck. People have been fighting for someone who now can be called pretty radically ept and hellbent on a political bender.
This act of "social justice" based on allegations and followed up by insanely wrong moves and motivations is now almost completely trivial and putting on a bad face for the progressive groups on campus and the better movements to come. If I was right now or at some point pro-Wolf (and looking at this level headed) I would feel really messed up about this.
Then again, can't say how much people will give a shit about this in the future. But I definitely have to think twice and read up about when Indigenous practices are threatened or criticized in universities in the future.

##Security Council chief Grigoryan about MFA Ayvazyan's role in landmine maps and POWs
Context: 15 POWs were recently repatriated after the landmine-for-POW process resumed. It happened after MFA Ayvazyan's resignation. Security Council chief Girogyran says it was because of Ayvazyan's resignation that the process resumed.
Reporter: do you believe the purpose of border clashes was no weaken the government ahead of elections?
Grigoryan: Azerbaijan and some internal Armenian forces wanted that. We even have some officials who contributed to that. For example, when it comes to the POW issue.
Reporter: what do you mean?
Grigoryan: the issue of POW repatriation was frozen for a long period. When MFA Ayvazyan resigned, the problem was resolved very quickly. Ayvazyan, being a state official, was telling our partners that we did not have landmine maps, even though we had already shared them. When Ayvazyan resigned, we had the opportunity to resolve the issue.
Reporter: was Ayvazyan lying?
Grigoryan: not only was he lying but he was also sabotaging the process. He had no desire to resolve Armenia's security issues. His primary goal was to create political problems for our team. He quit while on the "battlefield". Don't you wonder why the issue was resolved within just two weeks of his resignation? //
Ayvazyan denied Grigoryan's allegations but did not want to comment further at this time.

##Russian ambassador about POWs:
Russia was/is doing everything possible to return Armenian POWs. Peacekeeper chief Muradov plays a big role here. President Putin, MOD, and MFA are also working on it. It's not an easy task.
Q: will the process expedite now that the elections are over?
I don't know, but the issue of POWs is under the constant attention of Russia. I think the recent return of 15 POWs would not have happened if it wasn't for preparatory work done by Russia.

##Russian ambassador about deploying Russian guards on Gegharkunik borders:
Russia already has border patrols in the problematic areas of Syunik [unclear if he means the border road or the Sev Lake]. I don't have info on when they will be deployed in Gegharkunik.

> I know for modern dems, actually helping people is a foreign concept, but voters absolutely are more or less engaged by regimes that help them and make their lives better.
> Joe Biden is the face of the Democratic Party, and he has shown no interest in pushing for progressive policies or using his bully pulpit to rally support around anything. He is perfectly fine with passing a dog shit bill.
>The democrats have the majority and can’t pass Biden’s agenda because democrats are bought by corporate overlords. That’s the truth, and it’s no ones fault except the democrats.
Guess the sub this stuff is getting upvoted on. Hint: it's not arr politics.

Hi all
Betrayeds commonly feel a sense of the complete one-sidedness, unfairness, and injustice of the cheating. I have seen therapy advice that explicitly says the betrayed has to let go of those feelings in order for reconciliation to be possible. So my question for betrayeds is whether they explicitly made this choice, or recognize having made the choice in hindsight, and have any reflections on how that choice has worked out for them.
I posted a related question over on r/survivinginfidelity, thinking it might be perceived as anti-reconciliation decided not to post here. But I never intended it as anti-reconciliation. Just as a reflection on what it took to make reconciliation happen.
UPDATE: First of all thanks for all the thoughtful responses. They have made me think that I can clarify. So let me clarify by giving an example
So far in our discernment counseling, my WS has only accepted responsibility for behavior for which there is definitive, black and white, no doubt about it proof. There are many cases however where the proof is not irrefutable but far exceeds beyond reasonable doubt type standards. In those cases she has not accepted responsibility. We had one such case in counseling yesterday.
Back and forth we went (very calm and non-shaming or blaming any of that) — and repeatedly she just said she could not admit because it was something she had believed for such a long time that she had not done, and doing it would have been another level of betrayal. In short, she couldn’t admit it because it was too much in conflict with her self-image.
Now — she has accepted responsibility for a lot. And she is the one really pushing for reconciliation at this point. (I am respecting that desire and seeing if there is a way to make it work.). I could easily say I should cut her some slack at this point because of everything she has done. But I can’t. I need her to fully own her actions and choices. If she can be honest with herself above all about what she did, I think she will then be in a position to express genuine remorse and regret, and we can consider a way forward. I have had really extraordinary patience with this process —
