So, I just killed my Laney Cub 10 by being a moron. I was going through upgrades for it because I wasn't satisfied with the sound anymore. I had just swapped in JJ tubes and was going to replace the stock Celestion with a Jensen C10R to get it to be less "muddy". Anyhow that's out the window thanks to my dumbass so I figured I might as well take this as an opportunity to upgrade.
So like the title said, I'm looking for something that can get me those glassy and round Jerry Cornell 77 tones (but really any Jerry tone before he switched amps in the 80s although even that is good). I, however, would also like to able to do some John Frusciante (think Snow, Dani California, Scar Tissue, Californication, etc) and Hendrix type stuff (think Purple Haze, Foxy Lady, Little Wing, The Wind Cries Mary, Hey Joe, Voodoo Child) as well as somme SRV here and there.
I would like to have something that I can get those tones out of at low volume levels (maybe with a master volume control). For instance I played the Cub 10 with the gain at around 6/10-7/10 with the volume at around 2 and that was about as loud as I could go before worrying about annoying the neighbours.
I play a strat with Seymour-Duncan SSL1's and my pedal board currently includes the following: Dunlop Fuzz Face (Red), Dunlop Crybaby 535q, EHX Q-Tron, Joyo Dyna Comp, MXR Micro Amp, Ibanez Tube Scream Nano, Joyo 6-Band EQ and EHX Holy Grail Nano.
I was thinking Fender Blues Junior IV but I've read so many negative comments about Blues Juniors' sound and reliability (although it might have been about previous versions) that I'm reconsidering.
EDIT: I now realize that 1000 USD can buy you a heck of a lot more than 1000 CAD so I will specifiy that I mean 1000 CAD and so about 800 USD (though I can go a little higher if the suggestion is just on the fence).
I don't want to step on anybody's toes here, but the amount of non-dad jokes here in this subreddit really annoys me. First of all, dad jokes CAN be NSFW, it clearly says so in the sub rules. Secondly, it doesn't automatically make it a dad joke if it's from a conversation between you and your child. Most importantly, the jokes that your CHILDREN tell YOU are not dad jokes. The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. They are stupid plays on words, lame puns and so on. There has to be a clever pun or wordplay for it to be considered a dad joke.
Again, to all the fellow dads, I apologise if I'm sounding too harsh. But I just needed to get it off my chest.

For context I'm a Refuse Driver (Garbage man) & today I was on food waste. After I'd tipped I was checking the wagon for any defects when I spotted a lone pea balanced on the lifts.

i havent actually watched the original ' she's all that ' but watched this movie anyways. firstly, i could think of hundreds of different actors more suitable to play padgett than addison rae. i think its safe to say her acting is nowhere near as good as her tiktok ability. i felt as though this movie is such a generic rom com with a very basic storyline and plot. the thing i hated most about this movie was the acting of some of the cast members in this movie who made me physically cringe(could tell that they arent professional actors). imo the only actor who did a half decent job was cameron kweller played by tanner buchanan. in the end, i think this movie is watchable but extremely generic. i'd like to know yalls thoughts on this movie.

Back in April I made this post in which I listed updates on cases (names given back to Jane/John Doe's, arrests made et cetera).
It took a painstaking amount of time and instead of either a) never doing it again or b) doing it in a year's time when it will take an equal amount of effort, I figured I'd try stay on top of it and give some more updates that have happened since I made that post.
I have tried to include the year of the crime at the start of each case this time around, so you can see just how far back some of these Doe's & Cold Cases are being solved. The past two years have seen so many names being given back and arrests made. Just look at the amount of times I had to type out 'DNA'. :)

Laney: 6/10 the team didn’t have any amazing players, Dior and Rejohn were good and pretty cool players but I don’t find it exciting knowing that these guys are probably never gonna play after this season, it just looks very amateur and reminds me of sports here in Ireland. At one point there was like 30 minutes of a landlord or something, I was so bored and wanted to skip.

Indy part 2: 7/10 obviously the fact that they went like 2-8 made it pretty bad but there was still a lot of funny scenes and a lot of players went d1 afterwards, it was cool to see Malik and Bobby and others coming back and there was hella drama during the whole season really.

ELAC: 8/10 it was so funny and cool, basketball offered something new cause season 5 was pretty bad. The coach was so emotional and really cared about his players differently to all the other coaches .

Indy part 1: 8.5/10 same vibe as Scooba, middle of nowhere, nobody wanna be there, nothing to do but the players know that this is their best chance to do anything in the future. Coach brown is mad entertaining and funny. I read his book and sometimes he contradicts himself and sometimes he overreacts when the situation really ain’t that bad but I still liked him and even tho sometimes he seems almost abusive that’s just how some coaches act. EMCC part 2: 9.9/10 probably the funniest season of all, if I remember correctly they finished with one loss ? And that was the game where they played with 20 players which is crazy. Probably should’ve played for a natty. Tim Bonner is one of the funniest humans on earth. Cam and Chauncey fighting is hilarious. Dakota is inspirational (he’s plays for the Jaguars btw). Buddy tried to improve but failed miserably 😂😂. Sad to see Isiah get in trouble at the end and he def knew more than what he said, I feel like the people who actually killed the man told Isiah what they are about to do, but it’s done and over he’s back player ball at union college.
