Yesterday I was downvoted heavily for stating that there is absolutely no difference between the commonly used terms such as "growth" investing and "value" investing.

I understand this subreddit is probably full of new investors from the meme/crypto craze, but I do want to ensure that new investors learn correctly.
ALL INVESTING IS VALUE INVESTING.
Doesn't matter if a company is growing 50% a year, or even declining 5% a year, all that matters is that the future cash flows applied to the current enterprise value outweigh all other current investing opportunities.
Just because you can "see" past cash flows, does not automatically qualify it to be a "value" stock. The future looks a whole lot different than the past, especially in the disruptive, low interest rate world that we have lived in the past decade.
I just hope new investors don't look at dividend yields, book value, or any nonsensical "value" type metrics and make their decisions based upon that. Don't believe me? Here are a couple of videos explaining this from.. Warren Buffett.

I want to take time out to give this man some credit and eat a bit of crow. I actually felt this dude would be another Tom Savage and was one of the many that laughed when Culley made the comment “Davis Mills gives us the best chance to win” but he’s looked very good and promising these last 3 games. I still don’t know if I’m completely sold on Mills as our franchise QB for the future but I’m almost confident and comfortable enough to say I’m fine with the Texans going into next season with him as the starter and don’t have to reach or select a QB with one of there early picks. I still want to see how he finishes the season out, but these last 3 games may have been turning points in this young mans career and today was definitely a statement win, but if he can continue to play this way the next 2 games then I’d really be sold on him going in to next year

There was a glitch in the May Trix.
I have had 2 family size boxes of Honey Nut Cheerios and 3 family size boxes of lucky charms (both are General Mills brand) (all bought at different times) they have the worst chemical smell/taste I have ever experienced. Anyone else???? I can go into a lot more details describing this all but just for starters was wondering if anyone else Is experiencing this??? I’m in southern Ontario Canada. This has been going on for over 3 months now.
This is probably going to come as a shock to most of you, but here goes...
Count Chocula is a real person. Actually, a real vampire, if you want to get specific about it. We met in the seventies. I was his advertising campaign manager.
Unlike most vampires who stayed in Transylvania due to monarchistic duties, he chose to reside in Belgium where better chocolate could be found, although he visited France and Germany frequently as well. He was a connoisseur of the stuff - chocolate, that is. But he also enjoyed a glass of blood with dinner, and a nightcap at bedtime. For the anti-oxidants, he told me once.
It was on one of those frequent trips to France that he met a representative from a cereal company looking for a new mascot. General Mills.
There’s nothing quite like working with a vampire, and Count Chocula was no exception. I met him at the General Mills head office where the head marketing manager was holding a meeting. I came in as an outside consultant, but I was soon hired on full time.
“Mr. James, I want you to meet our newest asset. This is Count Chocula the fourth,” Mr. Scotson said, gesturing to a man in brown and purple robes. It was the seventies so of course he had massive sideburns and what would be considered today to be a ridiculous up-do - split right down the middle like Shemp and then drawn upward into spikes which looked like brown horns made of hair.
I shook hands with the tall, strange-looking man. He had two very large, sharpened buck teeth which gleamed white in the bright light of the conference room.
"I love vhat you did vith the Frosted Corn Flakes campaign," said The Count. "That tiger gets me everytime! Ah, ah, ah!"
His belly laugh sounded very vampiric. But other than that he looked like your friendly, run of the mill mascot. Not the cartoon, of course, that creation was simply styled after his look.
"So here's what we were thinking, James," Mr. Scotson said, pointing to a presentation board. "Count Chocula cereal - they're CHOCK full of cinnamon!"
He looked excited and paused for my response. Count Chocula waited with a big smile on his face for my approval.
"Nobody is doing cinnamon! Nobody! We'd be the first ones with a cinnamon-based cereal! Big clumps of it that are crunchy at first but they dissolve in the milk and get deliciously soggy! What do you think, Mr. James? Is that a winner or what?"

So I was watching a YouTube video and they mentioned that in the 40s General Mills was involved in the development of the skyhook weather balloon that was used by the office of naval research for a variety of different missions. It kinda blew my mind that they were involved in that so I started googleing. During my rabbit hole stumbling imagine my surprise when I found that General Mills built the deep submersible Alvin! The submersible that went down to the titanic!
I can understand the weather balloons from an agriculture aspect but a submarine?!
I texted my friend who use to work for them and he laughed and told me to "keep up!" Apparently they have a museum hallway at the headquarters and they have all kinds of info about those things and its somewhat common knowledge for them.
I'm still in somewhat in shock by it. Its just fascinating to me and I needed to share!
General Mills was/is having a down day today. I was thinking on picking up some shares. Dividend is a nice bonus as well. Not sure on long term value though. I personally don't buy many General Mills products haha. Anyone else waiting to see where it might fall?
