As we all know Jenson is very good in these types of conditions. He suggested that it was too late to pit Hamilton and accurately predicted what would happen to Lewis' tyres. He said that he would be slower because he has to go through the burning phase. And that's what happened to both Charles and Lewis.
He also correctly guessed that Mercedes didn't provide enough info and that Lewis didn't know he lost 2 places from the radio message.
Button and Nico are very good at commentating. They should be paired alongside crofty regularly.
*Raikkonen Of those 3 drivers, Kimi is the only one with a race win in all 3 of those eras. If Alonso can get a race win before he retires, he'd join Kimi in that distinction (already has wins in the V10 and V8 eras).
In 2015 both drove for McLaren, each missed the start of one race. Button finished the season with 16 points to his name, compared to Alonso's 11.
In 2007 Alonso was tied in points with teammate Hamilton, but would be placed lower than the rookie Brit on countback. (both had 4 wins, but Hamilton had 5 second place finishes to Alonso's 4)
In his debut season in 2001 none of the Minardi drivers scored a point, though Alonso would finish the season behind teammate (for most of the season anyways) Marques on countback as Marques' highest finish (9th) was better than Alonso's (10th)
