TIL That Rankin/Bass, the company behind many classic Christmas movies such as Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, often outsourced the traditional animation aspects of their films to Japanese studios. One of those was a studio called Topcraft, which employed a young artist named Hayao Miyazaki

If I catch one more Sea/Black Bass, I may just lose it.
I'm sure a few others on here feel my pain. I feel like I fish over and over and catch the same 5 fish. I understand the game can't give a ton of rare fish out but I'm losing my mind over here and needed to rant.

[TOMT] [SONG] Drum and Bass song that goes from English to Japanese and English again, sung by a woman and something about her used to love someone and vice versa
God I listened to it earlier this week at work but I couldn't check my phone at the time to like it on Spotify. It was a drum and bass song. Kinda chill-ish. The lyrics of some parts were I think "I remember you said you loved me, I remember I said I loved you" or "you say you loved me, I say I loved you", sing by a woman. Then, she breaks out into some sorta rap like Japanese part, where the song kinda sounds trap-ish.
Idk if I'll be able to find it but if someone can please link me to a song if it sounds like along the lines of this. I'm not fluent in the Japanese language but I just know one part was na (t)suki or ga (t)suki.

Curious to hear thoughts on my recent build. Bought a cheap used Ibanez bass, disassembled it, re-carved and painted the body and headstock, installed all new pickups and electronics, and made a new pick guard. Inspired by 60s and 70s Teisco and other Japanese imports.

If I never see a sea bass again, itβll be too soon!
I got a nook mile achievement yesterday for digging up 100 Manila clams!! 90% were spent on bait and I STILL canβt get an oarfish! Every time I sea a big fish and get the strong vibration thereβs a ray of hope, and then out pops a flipping sea bass!!! No!! Itβs a least a c+!!!

A photo taken in 1934 at Liancourt Rocks, Japan of some of the last Japanese Sea Lions (Zalophus japonicus). This species was closely related to the still extant California and Galapagos sea Lions and was driven to extinction by commercial hunting. The last individual was killed in 1974.

Need help recreating this sea bass βMarinerβ sauce
Here is a reference picture, itβs the white sauce on the right. Has a creamy but not heavy mouthfeel. I have no knowledge of classic dishes so I canβt say if itβs some sort of βmother sauceβ or anything. A nudge in the right direction would be helpful!

TIL that deep-sea dwelling animals tend to be larger than their shallower-water relatives, a phenomena known as "deep-sea gigantism." Examples include the giant squid and the Japanese spider crab.
