I'm researching this topic in hope of eventually proposing my own study. Can anyone recommend any material dealing with the relationship between immigrants (in any country) being more or less integrated socially and their attainment of fluency in the host country's language?
I don't mean to be harsh, I just have very little tolerance for self-centered posts and what not. Literally every other fantasy community is overrun with "do I start X or Y today?"

Little spoiler, we may go private once we have a good core group of users, and then only invite on a user by user basis. I'm considering only allowing posts after I approve them if necessary on days like this, but I'll leave it open right now because the community is doing a great job reporting it and downvoting. We recently have been having alot of arguments about faith but have worked through it. We have been together Seven years and in that time I have learned alot about Islam. Thourght I would share and see if anyone has any question I can help answer on any of the following.
1.What its like to marry a Muslim when your an atheist. 2. what it was like when she lost her faith 3.anything else

To non-Christians, please allow the opportunity for Christians to respond first. I don't mean to control the dialogue here, but all too often it seems that non-believers can't wait to pile in with their snide remarks which washes out the more intended responses.
