Please tell me this exists: β€œTankless instant hot water heater dispenser.”

My wife swears the water out of any tanked instant hot water heater dispenser (like the InstaHot) tastes terrible and will only use an electric kettle.

My Google-fu says this doesn’t exist. Please prove me wrong! (It can run on 240 V if needed.) I am open to other suggestions as well.

Need help selection RO filter with instant hot/cold water dispenser

I am a little lost while purchasing the right equipment needed for an instant hot/cold water dispenser with a filter. I am considering this set up but looking at getting a RO filter along with it. Will they be compatible? Any suggestions on which RO system to use with it? Thanks for your help!!

Quality instant hot water dispenser for kitchen sink?

Hello – – I remember having one of these when I grew up and it was so handy for oatmeal, hot chocolate, instant grits, etc. I’m looking to add one, but can’t seem to find one that doesn’t have 15 or 20% one and two star reviews. Apparently it’s one of those many things that β€œthey just don’t make like they used to.β€œ Does anyone have a brand and ideally a model of one that is still available yet has been around long enough to be vettedas a quality product? Thanks!

Advice / Experience with Instant-On Hot Water Faucets / Dispensers?

Ciao Folks, happy 2017!

We're in the midst of planning a kitchen remodel, and one of our goals is to get more 'junk' off of new counters, such as our water-boiler which takes up a lot of space. We currently have a 3 gallon filtered water tank under our sink, and a single faucet for said water.

My wife wouldn't dare spoil our tastebuds with 'regular water' so we need to have both filtered water and regular 'dish washing' water... And since we make coffee/tea every day I would love to add instant hot to the mix.

  • The concerns I have are: Will this be too crowded around my new sink? (which can be any size pretty much)
  • They seem to break after 5 years...but I could re install a new one at that point.
  • Does it for sure jack up your electric bill by $20-30 a month?

Curious if anyone has positive or negative experience with InSinkerator brands or any others... there's basically like 2 'dual handle' faucet options out there, and they dont even come with the water heater.

Thanks!

Hot water dispensers that boil too?

I visited a friend of mine for a few days and they had a hot water dispenser that filtered the water and instantly heated it. It got me to drink so much more tea than usual. I wanna get one!

Only thing that annoyed me about theirs (A Tefal model) is that it did not go up to full on boiling temperature, it was hot but still drinkable-hot. Does anyone know a model that actually boils the water? I've seen a few that say they do, but the water comes out at like 80C.

If I'm going to invest in this, I want to replace my kettle with it, I don't like the idea of having two separate water heating appliances. (If that means slowly having to fill a pan with boiling water, sure).

Instant Hot Water Dispensers

Hey plumbers! We’re purchasing fixtures for our kitchen remodel and we really like Newport Brass’ East Linear line in the satin brass. The problem with that is we want an instant hot water dispenser, but Newport’s/Brasstech’s tank has pretty bad reviews. The manufacturers tell you not to use a different company’s dispenser with their tank. Is that just a marketing ploy or will I be SOL if I try to pair different tanks and dispensers?

What cheap and healthy foods have both insoluble and soluble fiber? And can we just add hot water from water dispenser to rolled oats instead of microwaving or cooking rolled oats on the stovetop?

I'm looking for food recommendations that have a good amount of both fibers. That way I don't gotta worry about balancing out which fibers I gotta eat more of or buying more food to get both fibers. I heard eating a lot of one fiber and intake and unbalanced amount of one type of fiber is bad for our digestive system.

Another thing I'm wondering is if it's okay to prepare rolled oats with hot water from water dispenser rather than cooking it on stovetop or microwaving it with water. It would be more convenient for me to use hot water from dispenser but I heard it might not be the best for rolled oats. Apparently it's okay for instant oats though but instant oats are less nutritious

Is using hot water from a water dispenser good enough to cook rolled and steel cut oats?

I am too impatient to use stove top to cook oats and I got roommates who would probably take my overnight milk soaked oats if I left it in the fridge. I got a water dispenser thing where it has hot and cold water. Just wondering if I can use hot water from that to cook steel cut or rolled oats then stir and let it sit for a minute then eat it. I always see people mention cook it with stove top or soak it in milk overnight in the fridge but I never seen anyone mention hot water from water dispenser
