A list of puns related to "Indemnity and Oblivion Act"
Ironic
Greetings my comrade Redditors,
The Imperialist lapdogs at Netflix has recently released a new animated movie called "America: The Motion Picture" (trailer link).
This movie is described as a parody-comedy loosely based on the so-called 'Founding Fathers' of the United States and the American Revolutionary War against the equally-debased British Empire. In an alternate world and timeline, George Washington went to war against his British masters to retrieve the Declaration of Independence and avenge the death of his best friend Abe Lincoln. To do so, Washington assembled his A-Team: college-jock Sam Adams, scientist Thomas Edison (a CHINESE woman), pony-racer Paul Revere, native chief Geronimo, and small-business-owner John Henry.
I am very happy to see this movie released, not because of the film itself, but because the existence of this movie points to the inevitable downfall of the American Empire!!! With the collapse of the USA, CHINA MUST NATURALLY TAKE ITS RIGHTFUL PLACE IN THE UNITED COMMON DESTINY FOR HUMANKIND!!!
Oh, I got too far ahead of myself.
How? You ask? It is because of:
Our glorious core-leader, General Secretary Xi Jinping, said:
>We must take a clear-cut stand against historical nihilism, strengthen ideological guidance and theoretical analysis, clarify the vague and one-sided understanding of some major historical issues in the history of the party, and better correct the roots and consolidate the roots. Only by correctly understanding history can we better create the future.

>To correctly understand history, we must adhere to the correct view of party history, and we must take a clear-cut stand against historical nihilism, use history as a mirror, use history to make clear history, know history and love the party, know history and love the country, strengthen historical self-confidence, strengthen historical consciousness, and fly through the chaos.

By knowing the past, you know the present, and how you see the present shapes the future. So the past must be correctly understood! According to the Party (the source of all truths in the universe), history and reality show that a nation that has abandoned or betrayed its own history is not only impossible to develop, but also likely to lead it down the path of destruction!!!
Some people exaggerate the mistakes and

Negotiating indemnities and limitations of liability is the bane of every procurement professionals life. I'm keen to understand how you approach negotiating these terms and what strategies and tactics you deploy to get to an agreeable negotiated position once you have determined caps etc?
Hi Everyone,
I'm a little stuck on what I need for my business. Basically I started my own pty ltd as a sales agent.
I'm browsing through the insurances and I feel I need to get public liability and professional indemnity however I'm not sure. Essentially as an agent I'm representing another brand and the pty ltd is just their for payment.
Does this mean I'm covered under the public liability and professional indemnity of who I represent or will I need to purchase my own under pty ltd?
I'm super lost hoping someone can help me out.
Thank you
I once paralysed a beggar for 3 minutes, and dragged his still alive body to the lake, and dropped him in. He drowned, helplessly.
Hi all,
How long to keep Indemnity, and Liability insurance as an IT contractor? No more Outside IR35 contracts since April 2021 and wondering what to do.
I have been contracting for 3 years and have stopped doing Outside IR35 contracts since April 2021.
Currently I am paying for 'dormant' insurance and wondering whether to stop completely or not.
Thoughts?

For those of you negotiating new master services agreements, what do you offer for limitation of liability and indemnity? I keep having financial services companies and other large organizations ask for ridiculous caps on their LOL.
Does anybody actually offer an unlimited cap for LOL? or millions?
What about indemnity?
Our standard is 2X-3X of the contract value for LOL. My prospectsβ legal department keeps pushing back saying that our position is not enough.
Would love to hear what you guys do in these situations.
Me and my girlfriend are FTB and are in the later stages of buying a semi detached house. The seller has emptied the property and moved abroad so we are only in contact with the estate agent and solicitor. The estate agent canβt seem to locate the boiler certificate to provide to our solicitor.
Our solicitor says we will need to purchase indemnity insurance if this canβt be located.
My question is how does it work and who pays for it. The seller or the buyer? Iβve heard stories of the seller paying for it. Does anyone also have a rough idea of costs involved with indemnity insurance also?
Edit: the house is roughly 5 years old
It must be something in the air of noirs to make good people turn bad. All that dark and shadow can't be good for the heart. Mundane stoic-ness belies undercurrent passions; fleeting love; double crosses; greed and double payouts- double indemnity.
Our man, Walter Neff, is an insurance salesman. He works at Pacific All Risk and he takes such a risk on a doomed gamble; on a woman he only recently met. Her name is Phyllis Dietrichson and she's unhappy with her marriage and husband, and her husband's child. When she sees Walter, she dresses up nicely and puts on nice perfumes. They don't spend much time together, and what time they do is full of cool insinuation. True emotions are often hidden in a noir, veiled by a theatre of deceit.
Phyllis wants her husband dead. She asks Walter about buying accident insurance, without her husband knowing. Walter rejects her and drives away in his decency, but there must be something in the rain and darkness; something beneath his good moral living that just begs to come out. So of course he cannot resist Dietrichson's advances. The curtain of stolidity lifts for moments of passion and high emotion; I can't say it's love, but perhaps Walter thinks it is. He agrees to help Phyllis kill her husband. He even insists they do it on a train so she can collect on a double indemnity clause; a clause which pays out double for the more unlikely of deaths.
The plan is put in motion but things never end up as perfectly as thought up. We go from Walter's description of his meticulousness, to small hiccups that ultimately do not affect the end result of Dietrichson's husband's murder; and then the big cracks begin to form, and we see the shadows that fall slanted on our characters, also shade their hearts.
It is suspenseful as things go awry. Wilder doesn't lean into it so much as he allows it to play out unperturbed. A witness who saw Walter pose as the dead husband shares the same room with him; the dead man's daughter had caught Dietrichson trying on funeral hats before there was any death; Walter's boss closing in on the discrepancies of the case, even visiting Walter's apartment the same time he invited Phyllis over. And then Walter drifting away from Phyllis, taking a liking to the dead man's daughter instead. Both Walter and Phyllis weather it all as well as they can, but it is obvious that their passions aren't burning as brightly as before, and now they are chained together by the murder they've committed.
Deceit and

I have an opportunity to be a fully independent remote consultant for an American digital healthcare company. I have done a lot of this work in the past and have recently returned home to Australia after two years living in the United States. I work in the management consulting / digital design realm and I am trying to find a quote for professional indemnity and public liability insurance that will cover my US engagement from Australia. It's very difficult to find a policy that provides coverage over both of jurisdictions. If you have any insights or recommendations it will be much appreciated!
Thank you.
Hi everyone,
I currently have an offer accepted on a property, where there is an extension built over a sewer access. The owners have taken out a sewer indemnity policy as well as a lack of building regulations indemnity policy ad the council are unaware of the extension.
I posted a couple of weeks ago about the sewer indemnity policy, but we have just found out about this lack of buildings regs indemnity policy recently.
The survey didn't return anything to worry about the extension (we paid for the homebuyers report, but we don't know how thorough that is!) but we also think are we just taking the owners word for it that the extension is fine? It was built in 2019.
I'd be grateful for any advice regarding this situation. Would you go ahead with the purchase? Is there anything we can do to give us peace of mind (structural engineer perhaps)?
Thanks all!
I legit have 108 stealth due to the dark brotherhood yet I still get captured and still get detected even with strong chameleon potions why are they still able to catch me and even detect me?
