I noticed her last name is Imagawa and if you don't know the Imagawa was a clan Oda Nobunagna defeated even though he was outnumbered hugely so did the devs intentionally name her after the Imagawa clan or was it just they thought it was a common last names in Japan

The new clans are:

• Imagawa Clan
  A noble clan that was established in the 13th century. At its height it ruled the regions Totomi and Suruga.
  Notable rulers include Imagawa Yoshimoto who was slain by Oda Nobunaga during the battle of "Okehazama." The clan crest symbolizes the "crimson bird."

• Nanbu Clan
  Established in the 13th century, the clan ruled over northern Oshu. Although a minor presence during the Sengoku era, the clan continues to this day.
  The family crest is a pair of cranes.

• Konishi Clan
  Under the famous Christian Daimyo Konishi Yukinaga, who faithfully served Hideyoshi before and after his death, the clan ruled the land of Higo.
  The family crest is one of several forms of "Gion-Mamori" (Talisman of Gion shrine).

Here's the map. Orange is the Oda. Yellow is the Imagawa, except for Kiyosu Castle (Oda Nobunaga's personal castle) that was supposed to be Orange.

Historical data is taken from the National Museum of Japanese History and the Record of Taxation of Japan, which is a digitized Meiji-Era source.

Looking at this map, I think it's more amazing that the Imagawa with only Suruga province was able to conquer Tōtomi, most of Mikawa, and drive the Oda to within an inch of annihilation, than Oda Nobunaga's miracle at Okehazama.

On paper it seems like Imagawa and Tokugawa had an immense advantage over the Oda during their alliance. How exactly did the Oda manage to hold off against them for so long up until Okehazama?

I don't want to step on anybody's toes here, but the amount of non-dad jokes here in this subreddit really annoys me. First of all, dad jokes CAN be NSFW, it clearly says so in the sub rules. Secondly, it doesn't automatically make it a dad joke if it's from a conversation between you and your child. Most importantly, the jokes that your CHILDREN tell YOU are not dad jokes. The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. They are stupid plays on words, lame puns and so on. There has to be a clever pun or wordplay for it to be considered a dad joke.

Again, to all the fellow dads, I apologise if I'm sounding too harsh. But I just needed to get it off my chest.

Battles with clans by their name is to indicate either which side of the battle is fought on or if a battle does not directly involve the Toyotomi or Tokugawa.

Chapter 1 - Humble Beginnings

Hideyoshi's Upper Path

*Okehazama (Oda) - Hideyoshi realizes Nobuanga may be his ticket to glory

*Sunomata Castle - Hideyoshi manages to prove his skill to Nobunaga and other warriors

*Inabayama Castle - Hideyoshi's ability to intimidate, bribe, and force others into his service is on full display here

*Kanegasaki - Hideyoshi takes the reargaurd and proves his quick thinking skills, and ability to read what disasters this battle will bring

*Odani Castle - Hideyoshi has to make the woman he loves cry, causing him to swear to make a world where that never happens again

Hideyoshi's Lower Path

*Itsukushima (Mōri) - Mōri forces are introduced, with their ambition to rule the land

*Kawanakajima (Uesugi) - Uesugi are introduced with their cause of justice and righteousness

*Gassantoda Castle (Mōri) - Motonari proves he could possibly take the land with another foe destroyed

*Takarahama (Ōtomo) - Sōrin begins to build his clan up, fighting a stalemate with the now powerful Mōri. Sōrin looks to outsider technology for the edge he needs

Ieyasu's Upper Path

*Okehazama (Imagawa) - Ieyasu sees true ambition in Nobunaga and wants to form an alliance as soon as he can

*Kaninogō Castle - Ieyasu captures families of the Imagawa to force Ujizane to release his family

*Azukizaka - Ieyasu demonstrates a strong fighting spirit, fighting on the front lines, exposing himself and inspiring his retainers

*Kakegawa Castle - Ieyasu takes most of Totomi from Ujizane with this attack, cementing himself as a warlord

*Anegawa - Ieyasu has to pay back his debt to Nobunaga by turning the tide of this battle

Ieyasu's Lower Path

*Kantō Campaign (Hōjō) - Hōjō are introduced as a powerful family that has taken land from broken families

*Kawanakajima (Takeda) - Takeda are introduced as both just and treacherous, a dichotomy only Shingen knows how to balance

*Enchū/Hikuma Castle (Ii) - Naotora rescues her clan from utter annihilation, Ieyasu arrives to help her save her family

*Suruga (Takeda) - Shingen gobbles up the lands left over from the Imagawa's fall under Ujizane

Chapter 2 - Rise to Po

For context I'm a Refuse Driver (Garbage man) & today I was on food waste. After I'd tipped I was checking the wagon for any defects when I spotted a lone pea balanced on the lifts.
