i seem to see a lot of people saying Death Certificate is Ice Cube's best album, but I liked AMW quite a lot more (not saying DC is bad, it's still very good).
Some stuff on DC was just very off-putting, like 'Black Korean', or when he was talking about having sex with a minor on 'Givin Up The Nappy Dug Out', and some of the skits seemed pretty unenjoyable/skippable, but maybe that's just because of references i may not get.
I generally just liked his flow, aggression, and lyrics more on AMW. what do you think?

10 years ago, a tumblr user Donovan Strain did the maths and worked out that the only possible day Ice Cube could have been referring to in It Was a Good Day was January 20th, 1992, as it was the only day that:
- Yo MTV raps was on air,
- It was a clear and smogless day,
- Beepers were commercially sold,
- The Lakers beat the Supersonics and
- Ice Cube had no other events happening.

Before anyone questions why I'm talking about Vanilla on a Juggalo subreddit, Ice has mentioned being a Juggalo at several points, he was at this year's Gathering, and he was signed to Psychopathic Records for a couple of years, so he technically counts.
I don't think a lot of people talk about Vanilla Ice a whole lot outside of a general negative perspective. We all know him for the song Ice Ice Baby and that song in particular got him a lot of flack for the whole sample issue which.......yeah I can admit was pretty dumb, but honestly I think a lot of the hate after the incident was kinda unwarranted because his music after To the Extreme began improving significantly.
- Mind Blowin' is a great record that got a lot of undeserved flack when it came out. Ice's flow and rhyming ability noticeably improved, and a lot of the songs on there are really fun. Plus, the beats are a vast improvement from To the Extreme, cuz they were a lot more lively, whereas the beat on the previous record wasn't bad, but they kinda felt artificial.
- Hard To Swallow is Ice's dive into.........nu-metal. I got into this album when I was a nu-metal teen, and honestly I still get a lot of enjoyment out of this record. Is it the most lyrical? No. Is it the best played? No (though, Shannon Larkin did do great with the drum work on the album) But I really like it for it's rawness and anger. My only real problem with the album is that Ice reuses some of his verses from Mind Blowin' and guest features in some of the songs, and I don't know why. Like, on the song Prozac, the first verse is taken from his guest appearance on the Bloodhound Gang's Boom, and the second verse is taken from Oh My Gosh off of Mind Blowin'. I don't know why he did it, maybe he was just lazy, who really knows?
- Bi-Polar is my favorite album from Ice, mainly for it's variety. The first half of the album is the nu-metal he experimented with on HTS (with more improved production), and the second half is dedicated to straight-up hip-hop. For the first half, it certainly has it's problems (Exhale is my least favorite song on it, and it only hit me recently how poorly aged the song is) but I love songs like Nothing Is Real, Molton, Primal Side, and Mudd Munster. The hip-hop side is also really good, especially in terms of beats. The production on songs like Hot Sex and Unbreakable are great.
- And Platinum Underground is an album that's kinda weird. The album is filled with new material, but some of the songs were

As a puppy it feels so good on their gums. And it cools them down after a good play on a day while rewarding them at the same time.
I get really peeved at how incredibly unrealistic ice cubes look in cinema. I totally understand how it helps with continuity and it's more practical but it stands out so much in my eyes 🙈
This is the stupidest gripe to have but just curious if anyone else notices this too.
Ice Cubes are slime variants that drop ice, snowballs, and possibly fish when killed. They spawn in snowy biomes, like mountains and tundras. When they bounce around, they split apart similarly to the magma slime. When it lands, it sends out snow particles that are purely for show. They are a similar shade of blue as regular/packed ice.
When a large cube is killed, they will send a freeze effect similar to powder snow when they split, which makes players walk slower. They usually spawn at night, or when it snows. It also plays the ice breaking sound effect when split/killed. They take extra damage from fire based attacks, like fire aspect, flame, and flint and steels.
This could be an easy way to get ice as an early game player, as you do not need a silk touch pickaxe. You could obtain an advancement by hitting an ice slime into a nether portal, then into lava to create a magma slime.
